A Heartfelt Greeting {Lucas/Azuki}

Being near her, was helpful but it also made his heart want to take off. When she answered his question, it made him smile again. He remembered the day they met. He had been hunting a few hours before and had decided to explore his territory while he still could. Then he had stumbled into a grey and black wolf, that he instantly started to like. Of course, he hadn't told her but Lucas had secretly growing a crush on her after that day. He felt her move closer to him and get comfortable, which then he wrapped an arm around her.

Then she asked him when he started to like her. He smirked at her, "Ever since I asked you to join Validus Sweet Pea." He could smell the food before the waiter had even came up to their table and set the plates down. When the waiter walked away, Lucas looked over at Larysa, "But of course, I didn't tell you til now." He winked at her before, cutting into his steak.

Larysa chuckled. She thought it was cute how he kept calling her sweet pea. Sitting up, she took off his jacket and gave it to him. She then greedily picked up one of her ribs. She smirked at him and spoke mockingly. I don't blame you if you start to not like me when you see me eat these ribs. I've been told that the only time I'm not glamorous is when I eat. I don't want to ruin your jacket. She smiled and took a bite. Delicious. She was defenitally a meat lover. Larysa quickly finished that rib and used her napkin to wipe her hands and mouth.

She picked up her fork and shoveled some of her mashed potatoes in her mouth. Defenitally not glamorous. She ate like a wolf in her human form too. Huh. Strange. She hadn't realized how hungry she was until now. She was eating really quickly and alot. She would have felt embaressed if she hadn't been so damn hungry. Her daily workout had reay left her hungry.

Shaking his head, Lucas chuckled and started to cut into his steak. "I have a sister that eats like a wolf. So, I'll be fine.' he said winking at her. When she gave him back his jacket, all he did was throw it to the other side of the booth. No need to get BBQ sauce on it. Which he had started to pour onto his steak, covering the meat with it before he started to eat it. "Mmmm...so good. Their steaks are the best, the only reason that I come here." he mumbled over the piece of steak in his mouth.

He admired her. They way she acted and they way she was easy to be with. Now if only Ice was this easy. After he finished his steak and started to drink the rest of his Dr. Pepper. He burped slightly and went red. "Excuse me." he said, chuckling slightly.

Larysa chuckled when he burped. That was nothing. You want a burp? You got it. She conjured up all the air bubbles she could collect and burped so loud the whole place went silent for a moment. She couldn't help herself and she started cracking up. She delicately slapped her knee. This girl was something else. So much of a tomboy, yet also so much of a girly-girl.

Larysa's laughter died down and she smiled widely. Let's see if you can do better than that. She wasn't afraid that he would run away now. It seemed that he liked the way she was just herself around him. She took a delicate sip from her water, with her pinky finger up. So strange how divided she was. She was so rough and tough, yet so delicate, and fragile.

He couldn't help but laugh with her when she burped. She really was something that was for sure, but Lucas liked it. Liked how she was being herself around hm. When she said something, Lucas just shook his head. "I'm good. But ill keep that challenge for next time we come here." He said winking at her. Lucas really would have a burping contest with her but right now he was just glad she was with him. "I'm glad I ran into you today. I honestly don't think I would've have the courage to tell you otherwise." A shy smile appeared on his face. He knew sooner or later he wouldve told her.

When the waiter came back to see if they wanted anything else, Lucas looked over at Larysa. "Want anything else?" he asked, taking another sip from his drink. He looked up at the waiter and asked for some more Dr. Pepper and then smiled over at Larysa.
