Ice watched Vormund growl at Shane as he came closer. She didn't need to tell Lucas that Shane had caused a little trouble with a dog. Ice looked over to Shane, giving him a warning look before she turned her ice blue gaze back to Keal. Ice saw the mastiff take a step towards Shane and her instincts wanted to kick in as her eyes went bright and her body tensed. She didn't reach for the dog, didn't reach for Shane or Keal, but her eyes lingered on Vormund until he sat down.
When the mastiff jumped, Ice growled and bared canines growing. She did not want to hurt the mastiff, but if he hurt Shane she would have no choice. Calming down, Ice glanced towards Shane before she looked back to Keal. "He is only protecting you. Just like I would protect Shane if Vormund decided to attack. The mastiff thinks of you as family, as I do to Shane. So don't apologize, Keal." she stated, her voice having an edge to it as she slowly calmed down and was able to keep herself from hurting the dog.

I purse my lips when the dog gets protective over the woman. I kind of expected it but I guess deep down I was hoping for the dog's approval. I sigh and smile at the beautiful young woman who introduced herself as Keal. It is a pleasure to meet you, miss. And, yes, please do not apologize for the behavior of your dog. I'm sure he will adjust in time.
The way Ice looked at me made me a little irritated. Just because her brother is the Alpha doesn't mean she has to feel so superior to the rest of us. She may be lead hunter, but I'm lead scout. I do not have to submit to her. Anyway, that's how Ice is. We've all learned to accept that. Though the large dog still seems iffy about me, I'm still completely comfortable and calm. He won't--well, can't--hurt me. And I won't hurt him. No way I could. I love dogs. My golden eyes are searching around the room aimlessly when I hear Ice growl and then she says she would protect me if the dog attacked. I can't say I saw that coming, because if I did, I'd be lying. She thinks of me as family Huh. Wow. That really changes how I've been viewing her all this time. I smile a little and add, As do I.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

[glow=white,2,300]Keal [/glow] I won't hurt you, as long as you don't hurt me Watching the two werewolves react to Vormund, Keal was a little surprise, if to say just a little. Eclipse hadn't been open to the dog's presence and as a result, he had almost throttled the mastiff when he had growled at him. Yet, both these, even after Ice seemed to want to do the same as Eclipse, werewolves seemed to accept his protective nature. "Thank you . . . Both of you. Since I was bitten he's all I've had," she stated, eyes watering as she turned her orbs back on the dog. Taking a deep breath, she found her interest in the pair was peeked and she couldn't help the next statement. "So . . . you're both part of the same pack?" she asked "What's your positions?"Pack hierarchy was a mystery to her. Being bitten, she hadn't had anyone to teach her what a pack was like. She had a little bit of knowledge of how some of it worked, but that was only because she had been around Eclipse and Vormund. With two dominant males in her life, it was a surprise that she was able to keep any of her spunk at all.[/blockquote]

Ice nodded at Keal and gave her a small but reassuring smile. Ice had never had a dog or a cat, just a car that her brother had gotten her, otherwise. Ice had never any animal. "You're welcome Keal." she said, looking down at the Mastiff. He seemed like a wonderful dog, just very protective over her. Which, somehow, Ice could clearly understand why he was. If he growled at Shane then Ice had guessed that Keal had a run in with a male werewolf that wasn't very nice.
Ice leaned back, relaxing as she heard Keal ask her and Shane if they were in the same pack. "Yes, we are." she said, hearing the next question come to her ears. "I'm Lead Hunter of Validus." she stated, then glanced towards Shane and waited for his reply. She smiled at him slightly, he was more than likely surprised that Ice had even considered him a part of her family, even if it was true.

I smile at Keal and nod. It is true, we are in the same pack. I see Ice smile a little at me and I return the gesture. I had noticed how Keal had some tears welling in her eyes when she turned away but I answer her question. I, miss, am Head Scout. it doesn't sound that tough or dangerous, but it is.
I chuckle a little and the smile lingers on my face, lighting up my features. I like to smile at this girl; she seems to enjoy my smile. My eyes turn from my usual gold to a nice, calming purple. This means I am content and happy. I enjoy this gorgeous woman's--Keal, was it?--company. I would like to spend more time with her if I could. I hope she'll stick around.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Ice looked over at Shane, then back to Keal. Ice couldn't help but chuckle ever so slightly, when Shane said that his job didn't sound dangerous but indeed it was. Well, it was true. Being Head Scout did become a dangerous job, especially when it came to finding intruders within the borders and they end up not being to "friendly." Ice gave a small smile when she remembered when her and Lance were caught in a little rough up with some lone werewolves. It was funny, till someone got hurt then it was serious. "How long you plan on staying in town?"

[glow=white,2,300]Keal [/glow] I won't hurt you, as long as you don't hurt me Hearing that both werewolves before her were Leads, Keal felt a little out of her league, but they were both so welcoming that it calmed her. She understood how being Head Scout wouldn't sound dangerous but she agreed that it could be. With the knowledge that Eclipse had given her about the Werewolf Hunters she could see how scouting in these troubled times would be dangerous.
When Ice spoke up, Keal turned her attention back to the female. How long did she really plan on staying in Bucharest? Glancing over at Vormund, she found the mastiff simply looking at her, telling her to call the shots while he simply laid his head back on his paws and pretended to be asleep. Taking a deep breath, she looked back to the Validus wolves. "I'm not really sure . . . If your Alpha wouldn't mind, I guess I would like to hang around for a little while longer . . ." she stated, nodding her head. "I guess I need to talk to your Alpha, huh?" she grinned, shaking her head.[/blockquote]

I smile at Keal and nod my head. Yes, she would probably like to talk to our Alpha. These are rough times. Us werewolves now view everyone that isn't in our pack or family a danger. Especially humans. I'm trying to think of how the Alphas would react. I know Lucas would be okay with it, but I wonder about his mate, Larysa. None of us really know anything about her because she was always so silent and mysterious when she was just a hunter under Ice. I laugh a little at the irony. The Alpha Female of Validus used to be a hunter under the Alpha's sister's command. That's something you don't see every day. I guess she should speak to both though, considering they are like one unit. Ever since they got together I've barely seen them without each other, and when they were, all they would talk about is each other. I smirk and look at this marvelous woman. Goodness. How did she get to be so beautiful? Who are her parents? I would like to thank them for bringing such a wonderful sight into the world. Yes, I think you should. But I also think you should talk to not just Lucas, but Larysa too. She's Lucas's mate and the Alpha Female of Validus.
I look over at Ice to see how she will react at hearing this. I know at the party we all went to, when she found out, she looked like she was about to bash a couple heads together.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Ice nodded and listened to Shane talk about Larysa and Lucas. When she had found out that Lucas had taken a mate, Ice wanted to literally, go and hunt someone down and bash their heads against a rock. But surprisingly, Ice had taken it quite well and it had made her think about taken a mate for herself, but it never happened. Sighing, Ice looked over at Keal. "Yes, if anything, talk to both Alpha's. My brother wouldn't mind, but he has been considering Larysa's opinion as well."

[glow=white,2,300]Keal [/glow] I won't hurt you, as long as you don't hurt me Nodding as both werewolves spoke so highly of their Alphas, Keal decided she would go and meet the Alpha's as soon as she was able. "Is there a good time to find them?" she asked, not really sure if she would be able to see the Alpha's tonight or if she would have to wait a couple of days.
((So sorry that that all I had. It was a very horrible post.)) [/blockquote]

Ice glanced towards Shane before she turned back to Keal. "I can call Lucas and see if him and Larysa would be willingly to meet you sometime." she said, giving Keal a smile. Ice sat up and pulled out her phone, and looked down at it. Honestly, she wouldn't be surprised if Lucas didn't even answer her phone call if she ended up calling him right now. She had a feeling though, that he was a bit "busy" with Larsya at the moment and if she called, he'd be pissed.

It was like one of the worse things she could had been told. Keal wasn't just suppose to meet one Alpha, but also his mate. Taking a deep breath to calm her racing heart, she nodded her head. "Just tell me where I can meet them and I'll meet them. I actually like this place and Vormund hasn't bitten anyone yet . . . . So we seem to be interested in staying," she stated, glancing at the mastiff that had fallen asleep. The poor thing had been watching over her for so long that she wasn't sure the last time he had actually slept. "Vormund seems to like it," she whispered, glancing back at the two werewolves. Here was a chance at happiness, at least a new form of happiness in this land and maybe something worth fighting for, she thought as she looked over Shane. As she sat waiting for a suggestion on where to find the Alpha, she hoped that she would be accepted, if not into the pack, then at least as a loner that meant the pack no harm.[/blockquote]

Ice looked down at her phone and gave Keal a small smile. "If you would like I can call Lucas at ask him to come meet us somewhere. I'm surer he'll call Larysa and tell her to meet him there." she said. Her ice blue eyes glanced over to Vormund and realized he was asleep. All Ice could think about, was sleep for herself. She hadn't been able to sleep much either, way to much stress for her liking, that was for sure.
"Well, you two are both welcomed to stay as long as you like. Who knows, Lucas or Larysa might ask you to join the pack. But that will be up to you, Keal." she said, giving the girl a reassuring smile.
