Michelle was brave in the face of fear and stared hard at the wolf. She recognized it and knew it was Lance, but her brother could never know. Lance lunged at Damon but stopped inches before his neck and then real fear gripped Michelle. He was attacking her brother! Michelle knew there wan't much she could do and she instantly jumped up and ran to her brother. She helped him up and he pushed her in behind him and Micehlle spoke to him,
"We need to run!"
She looked at Lance in his wolf form and for the first time in her life she was really scared. She knew he would kill Damon and that was not on her list of things to do today. Michelle looked Damon in his eyes and the urgency in her own eyes convinced him. With a fluid movement Michelle turned to her bike and ran. She hoped Damon would do the same
The wolf suddenly lunged at Damon's throat and he brought his arms up to block the beast but suddenly it got off of him when Michelle yelled at it. He was amazed and sat up slowly. The wolf was staring at him with a fierce growl when Michelle helped him up he pushed her behind him and kept an equally fierce gaze on the wolf. He was sorely mistaken if he thought he was going to harm his sister today and it was clear in his eyes. Michelle told him they had to run and he saw the urgency in her eyes. He ran with her and jumped into his Audi just as he saw Michelle getting onto her bike. She left her helmet and revved Alice to life just as he started the Audi...

Lancelot saw the fear in Michelle's eyes and he didn't know what to do he relaxed when they started to run away. He heard Michelle's bike start up and tires screeching as he knew they both drove off. Lancelot stood there staring blankly at the spot where the guy lay and she helped him up. He sat there and suddenly the sky started to cry upon him, he felt the rain on his fur and he knew his anger has gone to far. He knew telling Michelle his secret was a bad idea. Because she moved on already. She hasn't told him either she loved him and his heart started to break. He howled into the rain and walk back to the road where he came from, he saw Michelle's helmet lay there and he sat next to it. Laying down next to it. He slowly phased back to human and just lay there on the ground naked in the rain, on his stomach. He started to cry. His heart in pieces.

Michelle didn't know that if what she was doing was the right decision but what else could she do? His hauntingly angry eyes was burned into her mind and the fear still chewed on her heart. She looked in the mirror of her bike and saw Damon still following her in his hot R8. She was more conflicted than ever, euphoric with seeing Damon for the first time in five years, scared from seeing Lance like that just now. She could imagine what he was thinking...
She wished she could tell him the truth but she'd have had to risk his exposure if she did. She slowed Alice to 130 KM/h and pulled off into the road that led to her apartment and parked Alice.
Damon was a little surprised with how well his little sister was driving that bike and when she turned off he followed her. She parked her bike and got out of his car, walking right up to her. She was still sitting on her bike and a pained expression was on her face but it faded as he came close. A brilliant and beautiful expression took hold of her face as she looked at him and together they walked into the apartment…
