It had only been moments since they had walked into the forest when Michelle told him somethings. He looked over at her before he turned his attention the the floor of a waterfall. Sitting down, Xavier smiled up at her and patted the ground next to him. "Alright, what do you want to tell me? I'm all ears." he said, wrapping an arm around her waist as he leaned against a tree. His minded wondered what she wanted to tell him and his curiosity was started to get the best of him...real quick. |

Michelle wondered how Xavier would react if he got the full truth. Indeed her tummy was on the bridge of becoming too much to hide in anyways. He would find out either way so she could just as well tell him. She smiled sweetly at him as they neared the foot of a waterfall. She looked up at the ridge in wonder and felt the soft spray on her face. Xavier sat down now and patted the ground next to him and Michelle lowered herself to the ground next to him, smiling at him. She wanted to cuddle into his side, but she wanted to get this off her chest first. He asked her what she wanted to tell him and she breathed in deeply, looking up at the waterfall so she could avoid his gaze.
Xavier wrapped his arm around her waist and the simple gesture made Michelle brave enough to tell him everything she wanted. She looked back to him and then spoke,
"Xavier, I know now how you feel about me but you don't know everything about me. You shouldn't lose your heart before you know who I am... I... I'm pregnant. I was turned a few months ago and I... I got into an accident. I died in the accident but I woke up as a wolf. Everyone I used to know and everyone who used to care for me thinks I'm dead. I... I wouldn't blame you if you didn't want to get involved with someone like me, but I can't stay here hidden forever either."

Xavier looked towards the water when she started to talk. He listened to her and was a bit surprised that she was pregnant. Xavier had somewhat figured it out that she was pregnant, but he didn't want to make it obvious until now. Looking over to her, Xavier pulled her closer and a hand going to her stomach. He wasn't going to leave her just because she was pregnant. To him, that was just an addition to his life. He leaned over and kissed her cheek, "No, I plan on staying here. With you. And I'll help you when the baby comes." he whispered into her ear.
When the child would be born, Xavier would treat he/she as if it was his own child. But, Xavier wouldn't teach it hunting. Wouldn't tell it that werewolves were evil, for the mother would be a werewolf. No, Xavier would let this child have a regular life. A life he didn't have. "And as for hiding. You can stay at my place, live there if you want to. And start a new life all together." |

Xavier suddenly pulled Michelle closer and she couldn't help but smile. He held her close and his one hand went to her stomach and she loved his touch. He leaned over and kissed her cheek and Michelle wondered why he was so alright with the information she had just given him. It was an atomic bomb she'd just dropped on him and he was handling it like it was nothing. Xavier then whispered into her ear that he planned on staying with Michelle until the baby came and that he'd help her where he could. Michelle really appreciated it and softly touched his arm.
Xavier then mentioned that Michelle could stay with him, that she could start a new life with him and she softly touched his cheek and said,
"What about my brother? Should I just forget about them?"
Michelle asked this in a friendly manner and looked up at him...

Xavier had to think for a moment. Yes, what about her brother? He was part of her life, her family. "No, you shouldn't have to forget them. He is part of your life and I won't keep him out of it. If you want him to know about us, and that you are alive. Then go ahead." he said, smiling over at her. He didn't have a family, and he wasn't going to drag Michelle away from hers unless she wanted to leave. Xavier laid back and looked up at the sky. Maybe having her brother around would be able to help them both. "Why don't we have him come over one day? So that me and him could meet." |

Xavier seemed to consider what Michelle had said about her family and she sighed, but a good sigh and laid her ear against his chest, listening to the soothing beat of his heart. It calmed her nerves instantly and she breathed deeply. She loved that he had that kind of effect on her. Xavier then spoke up, telling her that she didn't need to forget about her family and that she could let him know about them if it was important to her. She drew back a bit and smiled sweetly at him, touching his cheek tenderly. He could do no wrong, could he? He said all the right things. He smiled then laid back, looking up at the sky. He suggested that Damon should come over some day so they could meet and Michelle laid back, cuddling into his chest and said,
"That's a great idea! Just a fair warning, he's not as nice as I am. Don't take him up literally on everything he says."
The waterfall caught her attention and a great idea dawned on her. She sat up and smiled mischievously at him. She jumped up and ran towards the pool's edge, saying over her shoulder,
"Last one in!!..."
She slipped out of her clothes in one fluid movement and dove into the pool with a splash. She came up with a deep breath and looked over to Xavier with a playful glint in her eyes...

Xavier felt her ear go to his chest and felt her hand on his cheek before he had laid back onto the ground. He closed his eyes when she cuddled into his chest and warned him that her brother. Wasn't as nice as her. A soft chuckle escaped his throat and his shoulders shook slightly, "Don't worry I won't. I don't take much things seriously, plus I have a feeling your brother will like me enough, even though he wouldn't entirely have a choice." he said, giving her a squeeze.
He had just relaxed when he felt her move away. His eye opened up to see her slip out of her clothing and into the pool. Smiling, he stood up and slipped out of his jacket and shirt. Revealing the light chest that rarely got sunlight on it, before he slipped out of the rest of his clothing and jumped in after her. He then remembered his patch, and turned back to put it away. Throwing it off of his eye, Xavier turned back to Michelle and swam up behind her.
Wrapping his arms around her, being gentle to not hug her to tight around her stomach. Xavier placed a kiss on her shoulder softly, "You really are something unique, Michelle." he whispered softly, as if he was having trouble just breathing or talking around her. She really did have an effect on him and he loved it. |
