The woman smiled widely and laughed with the sound of a bell. She put her arm around the Ryanna's shoulder and squeezed her. When Ry said that she wasn't with her family anymore, Daire frowned. It's fine, dear. Most people who see me in wolf form stare. I would say it's Raven, my pet raven, but I'm afraid my purple eyes might be the main factor. Thank you, Ryanna. My mother liked the name, too...

Ryanna watched the girl. She seemed so comfortable, so outgoing. Ryanna wished she was more like that, but she wasn't. So many years of solitude, no close friends would explain that. She smiled when Daire talked about her eyes. Truth be told your eyes isn't what made me stare. She blushed and averted her eyes away from Daire's face. She listened to the question and paused, not sure how to answer. Was she to trust Daire or would she try to put her in an orphanage? She shrugged her shoulders, Yea, I'm alone, but a really nice man found me a place to live. I've been alone since I was 8 years old. She frowned, trying not to think of why she was on her own. |

Well, that wasn't going to do. Daire gently grasped Ryanna's shoulders, urging to look at her. Y'know, Ryanna....I would very much appreciate it if you would join me. We could take care of each other. We would never have to be alone ever again. I'm alone too, ya know. I could teach you anything and everything you want or need to know about our kind. We could be our own little pack. Family. Whattya say?
[/color] Daire looked at the younger girl hopefully. She really hoped Ryanna would accept her offer. Truth be told, she was really tired of being alone. She wanted a companion. A, as in one. That's the whole reason she hadn't wanted to join a pack. Daire wasn't really what someone would call a people's person.[/blockquote][/blockquote] |

As the girl grasped her shoulder Ryanna looked at her. She was surprised by the offer. She certainly didn't see it coming. She thought about it for a minute. She would have someone to run with all the time and she had a roof over her head. So much had happened to her lately, so many good things. She smiled at Daire I would like that. I haven't had family for a long time. She was excited to start learning more about being a werewolf. She still didn't like it, but maybe if she learned more about it then she could learn how to protect herself if need be. |
