William turned to scurry after Lance; his terror at the ginger werewolf eventually destroying something of his growing ever stronger by the confusing second. He was stopped when a strong, sharp nailed finger suddenly prodded him in the nose, wielded by a grinning Lance.
"V-Valient man?"
He managed to stammer weakly
He wasn't sure if he wanted that- he already had enough of a hard time being a cowardly werewolf as it was. But he still trotted after Lance as he swept into his tiny living room, half terrified, half in awe of what the man would do next.

"Of course! A woman wants a man who stands by his beliefs! Not completely arrogant of course, but you seem like the knowledgable type." he said, pulling away as he found his way into the living room. Huh...he'd have to find ways to spruce this up. It was so plain.
"Being valiant, er well brave I guess, doesn't exactly mean you have to start fights or stop trouble. Sometimes it can be small things, like helping people when they need it."
Like I'm doing right now. he thought to himself happily as his nose twitched to take in the different smells within the apartment. "Do you ever have ANYONE over? I mean, sure the whole loner werewolf thing might be attractive, but there's a limit to being a loner and a recluse."
Lesson 09: Be knowledgable, but not arrogant.

"w-well I...N-not really...I-I mean...w-who would I-I have round?
He was getting slightly defensive now, he knew it. But he wasn't a complete recluse...He was...quite certain of that... He just didn't really get to see anyone... Or talk to anyone... Or...Venture very far outside of him apartment other than to work and...change...a few times a month.
William frowned at the floor as the revelation hit him- Oh God...He was a recluse... A recluse who wears suits, that was certainly one to think about. He looked up at Lance and whined from deep within his throat.

"Don't worry, William!" Lance said, seeming to almost sing out his name in excitement as he walked over and patted at his shoulder. If he had a tail at the moment, it would be wagging a million miles an hour. "That's what I'm here to help you with! I will visit more often, since these lessons on romance have to be repeated. Nobody can turn into a gentleman overnight! Luckily you already like wearing suits, so that can be marked off of the to-do list."
He looked around the living room again, "You need entertainment of some sort here though. A few books, or just more color." He clapped his hands together, "We're going to have to go out and get you supplies! But later. You're not from Romania, right? You have an English accent, which is good. Most girls like an accents, ya know." He was jumping topics all over the place, his excitement seeming to bubble all over.
Lesson 10: Don't worry with what you don't have, focus on what you got!

"e-erm...Y-yes...W-well...I-I am from England"
He managed, feeling more than a little overwhelmed by Lance's utter enthusiasm to changing him and his life. Maybe...Maybe it could work? Could he, shy little William, honestly become the dashing gentleman that Lance was describing? He had to admit it sounded exciting, if only as something to finally do something with his life after six years in Romania. ...Become the man he might have been...
William felt a grin of interest and excitement grown across his features as he glanced around his apartment. The tiny place was neat and tidy but...yes, now that he looked at it, incredibly dull and lacking in both colour and entertainment.

"Thought so. I'm from America, down in the tropical paradise of Florida. I don't have any sort of accent though people just say I have an American accent. I find it stupid, but what can you do?" he gave a shrug and finally stilled his constant movement as he places a finger to his chin and tapped on it thoughtfully.
"I know a good place where you can get good quality suits that will give you a more crisp look. That other loner werewolf, Cain, uses it. Though his appearance is the polar opposite of yours. He really likes them, and they're not too expensive." he thought aloud before turning his attention back to the shorter werewolf. He walked forward, eyes now seeming to finally begin assessing William himself and not just the things within his home. It was an intense gaze, though it was obvious that his mind was making a mental list.
Lesson 11: Rely on friends for help. The bond between fellow men is strong.

"B-but I thought you said you liked my suits?"
Even with his own new found enthusiasm, William couldn't help but feel unnerved as the red haired werewolf strolled towards him, staring intently at his features; his brown hair, his chubby face, his pointed snout of a nose. weighing him up.
His inner wolf felt it as a challenge, and he found himself shivering just slightly with nerves as Lance looked him up and down. Ge felt himself beginning to blush hotly too.
"e-erm...w-what are you doing...e-exactly?"

"Seeing what type of gentleman would best suit you. Calm and cool won't work, though there are all sorts of possibilities." he shrugged, not seeming to realize he could be intimidating the shorter man. He finally snapped his fingers, coming to a conclusion. "Alrighty! So, for now we are going to focus on your backbone. Currently you're going to get walked all over. No point in finding a lady if you can't even get your point across without clamming up! Besides, with your looks I think a more dominant girl would be interested. Cute, maybe?" he shrugged. Lesson 12: Cute. Not a bad thing.

"B-backbone?"
Was it really that obvious? William knew he came across as...rather...okay very nervous at times, the stammer really rather showed it off whether he wanted it to or not. But...Was he really destined to be walked all over by every girl he came into contact with? He wasn't sure he liked the sound of that...
"H-how would one go about...f-fixing a-a...backbone?"
He asked tentatively, deciding to let the cute comment be a compliment; he needed some good attributes to cling to at the very least.

"Well, going out is probably a first step."he said, nose wrinkling in a laughing manner. "They say practice makes perfect, so you just have to get used to talking to people." He nodded, seeming to find this a good direction. He was making it up as he went along, but he'd never admit to it. "Before saying something, maybe think about it first?" he held his hands up, showing surrender. "You don't have to be so nervous about me. I wouldn't hurt a flea. Unless he was eating me, in which case I'd drown the little sucker. But you aren't a flea!" Lesson 13: practice makes perfect

"erm...I-I would really rather hope not"
He managed, trying to smile weakly. Lance was right, there really was no need to be so skittish all the time; it had just become a habit over the years that William could no longer really break. But he was a werewolf for God's sake! If he couldn't be confident...
He tried to straighten his posture a little, puffing out his chest and combing a stray strand of hair away from his eyes. It didn't make the little man feel much better, but he hoped it made him look rather more like his was ready to face the world.

Ha! He only stuttered once! Lance thought as he did a mental cheer....Oh god, he's hilarious! Lance had to control himself as he watched Will puff out his chest and stand up straight. It was rather comical, since he was still in a mild state of undress. He managed to keep from bursting into laughter, but the smile couldn't held back. "Good, now repeat it! I AM NOT A FLEA!" William jumped, then tried to smile again, feeling the embarrassment of the situation.
"erm...I-I am not a flea...?"
He bit his lip and tugged at a lock of hair again. Surely that wasn't the best he could do? Strangely enough, he found he really did want to impress this strange, manic guest of his. He really did want to change. He coughed and tried again, staring down one of the pictures covering a stain on his wall.
"I am Not a...Flea"

"Again." Lance commanded, squaring his own shoulders and puffing out his own chest. For Lance it did a different affect, but he seemed to have a comical side as well. "I AM NOT A FLEA! Say it louder, like you mean it!" Lesson 14.5: Make sure everyone knows you're not a flea.

"I-I am NOT a flea!"
It was actually quite exhilarating, even if William was simply standing in the middle of his apartment, half dressed in a dressing gown and suit trousers. He wondered briefly if his neighbors on either side could hear him... He imagined waking up Peri with his little chant.
Spurred on by this, he tried again;
"I am NOT a FLEA!"
