Physical Description: Otto is well... Not the most delicate of women. Tall- about 177 centimeters, muscular and relatively shapeless, she is far from the image of feminine grace. Otto likewise bears herself with a certain swagger, proud of her strength. Her feet and hands are large, fingers and toes long and rather slim. Otto's face could be vaguely pretty if she would take proper care of it, strong as the rest of her but with a least a certain regality to the bone structure. Her cheek bones are high and her jaw strong, with a rounded nose and naturally arched eyebrows. Otto's eyes are almond shaped and a dark brown, with a fierce focus. Her mouth is especially expressive, though the teeth within are rather yellowed and sharp, like dog's teeth.
Otto's hair is a dark, nearly black brown and cropped very short like a man's haircut, sliced short this way after catching fleas during one of her nighttime romps. The woman liked having it short so much that she merely kept it that way, enjoying the ease of care almost as much as the scandalized looks from her fellow Roma. Otto's skin is a nice caramel tone, with the occasional freckle and mole dotting the tab expanse. A number of calluses Mar her hands and feet, as well as a few small burn scars and cuts from past brawls and kitchen accidents. Hardly anything grand to hear about or especially impressive.
On the subject of clothes, Otto is far from picky. Always one for functionality of aesthetics, she prefers clothing that is comfortable and durable rather than fashionable garb. Her family is not particularly wealthy to begin with, so mostly Otto wears dull, practical clothing that is easy to take off and put back on at a moment's notice. In the winter time she does have a rather nice fur coat that her Dati had made for her years ago. As far as jewelry is concerned, Otto has no interest in the niceties that women usually don, however has taken to wearing rings or crosses made from nickel silver to fool hunters, as the difference is nigh on impossible to see between nickel silver and the silver which is toxic to werewolves.
Personality: The easiest way to sum up is Otto's personality is "Abrasive." Unlike most good Roma ladies are taught they should be, Otto is proud, aggressive, short tempered, contrary, and sarcastic. Having spent much of her childhood in a poor home and surrounded by rowdy brothers, she is a rough and tumble sort of woman who never quite grew out of the little girl that misbehaved just to snag a little attention from her parents. On top of being very contrary and aggressive, Otto has a certain annoying sense of entitlement and superiority because of the way in which she was treated after becoming a werewolf. Where prior to the transformation she was considered as something of a failure for a daughter, after being turned into a werewolf her family came to regard her as a guardian spirit given to them for loyally following family traditions. This change allowed her to live as she pleased, outside of tradition, and earned her a position of power within the clan not regularly afforded women.
She has begun to distance herself somewhat from her family as late, mainly because her siblings are all married now and all but her sister have children. Her mother and father have been pressuring her to choose a husband but Otto is having none of it, and so has been immersing herself further into the werewolf culture in an attempt to find a place where she may better fit in. Otto is fascinated by werewolves and proud to be one, often reading books about them and going to the cinema to see films. "The Wolfman" is one of her favorites. As far as her interactions with actual werewolves, Otto is often dangerously open about their state so being around her disconcerts most of her fellows. The woman is used to being hated for her heritage already, and plays off the tradition of mystery and mischief associated with so called "Gypsies" to tease regular humans and throw hunters off her scent. She does enjoy romping with other weres in their lupine forms, but they often ditch her once transformed back into human shape.
In terms of happiness, Otto is at her best when trotting about on all fours. She utilizes her collar to walk among humans in this shape occasionally, joining her brothers on hunts and walking down the streets of Bucharest with them like a pet. This sort of hiding in plain sight is almost like voyeurism for the woman, who delights in knowing that those around her have no idea the well behaved dog at the bus stop is actually a beast of terror and might. She has no particular interest in romance at the moment, preferring to revel in her own strength and independence rather than wasting time on the opposite sex.
History: Born to a traditional Romani family, Otto was predestined to marry young, serve her husband, and struggle with the hatred directed toward people of her heritage. Her childhood was lived mostly in the shadow of her brothers in a very poor household in Bucharest, following Romani tradition very strictly. She was a rowdy child and always into mischief, often embarrassing her family and getting in trouble. Even among the Roma they were considered low, and it wasn't until Otto was attacked by a werewolf that things started turning around for the Hadrarius family.
The men of the family frequently went hunting, often illegally, within the national park when Otto was a girl. Though normally women weren't allowed, after a great deal of begging around the age of 14 Otto was allowed on an overnight hunting trip. Though the family had no intention of it, they soon stumbled across a pair of werewolves. It didn't take long for them to realize these wolves were smarter than the regular sort. In the resulting struggle Otto was injured, torn into. As soon a the girl fell the families broke apart, werewolves disappearing into the trees as soon as the humans were distracted.
After a hospital visit, a great deal of shouting from Otto's mother, and a meeting with the clan elders, it was decided that rather than a curse, Otto's condition was a blessing. Things started to turn around for her family then as they gained more respect among the other clan members. Not long after, with the help of another Dati within the clan, Otto's father opened a psychic shop. The shop became a hit with tourists, who came in as much for the werewolf paraphernalia as the palm readings and tarot cards. While it didn't make them wealthy, the business allowed for a better life for her family and Otto herself. Her wolf form became the shop mascot, known as Dacia by outsiders. Though the shop advertised itself by flaunting the werewolf that slept in the front window, the mere blatancy of their claims has the general populace thinking "Dacia" merely a hoax.
Although she was allowed more time to remain independent than most Roma women, by the time Otto turned eighteen her parents began to put the pressure on to find a husband. It was at this point that she began to more blatantly ignore family traditions and break from her people, seeking out solitude in the national park or trying to meet other werewolves in Eden Town. Her race has made it difficult to seek out other weres, as many of the human residents of Romania loathe the Roma. As yet she knows very few other weres, and has struggled to fit in in the secretive culture she so wishes to immerse herself in.
[/size]Body Desciption: Otto, while decidedly masculine and unattractive in her human form, makes a pretty wolf. She's on the larger side for a female, though not some massive ungainly thing. She has the typical features of a Eurasian wolf, more slender than a North American wolf. Her ears are gently rounded and tail midlength, a generally good looking specimen.
Otto's coat is a deep, chocolate brown with a caramel underbelly and a smattering of dark brown across her back. Her nose is a liver tone, and her eyes the same dark brown as they always are. And yet, in her wolf form her gaze seems more serene. Because her colors and markings are rather unique, especially the characteristic spots on her forelegs, Otto takes precautions when transforming to ensure she doesn't stand out as a possible werewolf.
Her teeth are yellowed rather than the pure white common to city dwelling weres (Due to regular dental care) and she frequently dons a dog collar before transforming. The collar has become something like a security blanket, allowing her to travel around without causing the normal terror associated with encountering a wild wolf.
