OTTO HADRARIUS Otto trotted along rather pleasantly in her 'Dacia' form, dog tags jingling jauntily as she walked on all fours. The young werewolf wasn't afraid to walk about in her wolf form during the day, namely because of the collar and tags around her neck that worked like magic to make her seem a regular dog. She didn't worry about the tracks her large paws left in the earth, sucking mud and puddles making slapping sounds as she walked. The cold shower that was currently falling likewise didn't affect the she-wolf, water sliding easily off her thick chocolate coat. This was nice. No humans in sight either, which was always a pleasant thing. The rain would soon wash away her scent and tracks so it would be nigh impossible for a hunter to be after her. All in all, the perfect setting for a nice romp in the forest. It used to be that Otto would never venture into the park without her brothers, for their presence made pretending to be a dog far more convincing, but she was fairly certain of her safety here. It was no good to spend one's life in fear anyhow. The she-wolf had intentions on working her own hunting skills today and maybe, if she were lucky, running into another werewolf. She'd heard a pack of them lived up in this area and was eager to see if it were true, if a bit skeptical. Werewolves seemed like more solitary creatures in the books and movies she read and watched. Tortured souls who were closed off from society. When Otto arrived at the bridge she took a moment to observe the river below, swollen and angry from all the rain. With a wolffish chuff that was almost like a laugh, Otto made her way across the slick wooden bridge. It would be too dangerous to howl when she reached this werewolf pack's rumored borders so the she-wolf merely chugged forward once she reached the other side of the river, alert to her surroundings. She wondered if the others would be ashamed of her choice to don a collar, or take up smoking to make her teeth more yellow like a dog's. She wondered if they were all Gaje who would reject her when they realized she was a Roma. Barking stubbornly, she shook her rounded head and snarled at nothing in particular. No time for such thinking. If the other weres disrespected her for her heritage, or even the fact that she was bitten rather than born, why she'd just pummel them. Most of Otto's fighting experience in this form were just friendly tussels with the family's hunting dogs, or the occasional scrap with one of the feral dogs tottering around Bucharest's poorer streets. Still, she had confidence in her strength and the extensive time she put into building it, and wasn't afraid to fight an alpha male himself if he gave her reason enough. [/justify]

The tall grey she-wolf padded silently through the forest. The sound of rushing water made her ears prick with interest, a paw hanging in mid-step. Her tail raised in slight excitement. She started to run toward the river, feeling the ground beneath her paws. Char loved running as a wolf, the sense of freedom was incredible. Reaching the bank, the grey wolf approached the water cautiously, despite her love of the liquid. This was not a body of water that she knew, so she would treat it carefully. A bark made her head jerk up, and she saw a brown she-wolf standing by the rickety bridge. Char wasn't feeling friendly today, and growled warningly at the female, her eyes locked on her muscular body. Where Charlotte's body was lean and toned, this female was a little bulky but none of it was fat. Her fur was a chocolate colour, thick, especially around her neck. The grey she-wolf snorted as she saw what was secured around the other werewolf's neck. A collar! Was she tamed like a dog? Drawing her lips back into an ugly snarl, Char stalked toward her. [blue]What do you want, dog? Or are you really a wolf? With no such dignity as to wear a collar around her neck.[/blue] Char shook her beautiful face and looked over the other wolf again. There was something different about her, Char wasn't sure if she wanted to know.

OTTO HADRARIUS Otto stopped stiffly when she heard a growl, turning her head about and cupping her ears to the noise. Another wolf stood several yards off, on the same side of the bridge as she was. The young were, though she had been one for years now, hadn't actually encountered enough of her own kind to tell one apart from a regular wolf without scenting them. And with the rain her nose was as useless as a human's. If it was a mortal wolf it might be interesting to brawl with the creature though, and it certainly seemed aggressive, so Otto puffed up and bared her own teeth. When the unfamiliar wolf started stalking toward her and snarling, Otto returned the gesture, quietly excited. She had never brawled with a wild wolf before, having refused to help her brothers hunt them on principle. She had snapped at her fair share of bears though, so this couldn't be that much different. It'd probably run before things got too serious. At least, that's what she thought until a woman's voice echoed in her head. The voice startled Otto, for she had never heard someone else's voice within her mind before. After the initial shock the young Roma found herself quite offended, and let her face shift into a more vicious expression than before. You may criticize, Otto attempted to articulate, merely thinking very loudly as she wasn't exactly sure what else to do, But how many hunters come into the voods to shoot volves, and how many to shoot dogs? Snorting decisively, Otto assumed a very dominant posture and stared down the stranger. What business haff you got, harrassing strangers anyhow? More confident in her voice, or rather lack of one, Otto stepped forward. Her Romanian accent was thick and tone aggressive, punctuated by a persistent growl that rolled from her jaws. [/justify]

Charlotte threw up her muzzle and lifted her tail higher as the other female assumed a dominant position. Well, she would just have to assume a more dominant one. She gave a snarling laugh at her accent. How silly she sounded. The grey she-wolf's accent was slight and sexy, if she didn't say so herself. The chocolate wolf spoke loudly in her head. Her ears went back, she didn't like this intrusion in her head. [blue]Hunters? I know there are some around but I steer clear of them, rather than watching them shooting my own kind. I don't know of any that shoot wild dogs but I'm sure you will be their first.[/blue] Baring long sharp fangs at the other she-wolf, she continued. [blue]I wouldn't say I am harassing you, unless you can't withstand a little harsh talk. You don't seem the type to take aggressive words, just tearing the speakers throat out instead.[/blue] Char rolled her golden eyes as the she-wolf stepped forward, trying to intimidate her. Good luck with that, it takes a lot to worry me, dear.

Otto growled as the foreign she-wolf stretched her chin and tail as high as they would go. The Roma herself could not match the stranger in height, but did not relent in her own posturing. Brown eyes trailed to the stranger's exposed neck, before flicking up to stare her in the eye again, challenging. The sharp laugh that resounded in Otto's mind was poisonous, punctuated by an audible snarl from the stranger. It stirred a fire in the young woman's belly, furious and hot. As more unprovoked insults rolled off the stranger's tongue, Otto's hackles raised and she pawed the ground, a shoestring of drool falling from her yellowed fangs. Idiot gaje she hissed within her own head, mostly to herself. Otto still wasn't sure how this telepathy thing worked, but wouldn't be embarrassed if the stranger had heard her. You come up to a stranger vit bared teeth and insults and expect kind reception, idiot gaje? You should go back to vhere you came from, idiot. Vhy should I take aggressive vords vhen I do no things to deserve them, idiot foreigner gaje? The more she spoke, the more of a fury she worked herself into. True, she had not been born a wolf, but she hadn't done a thing to this stranger to spark such aggression. What business did this fool, this outsider have in insulting and threatening her so blatantly? I come here in peace to meet other veres and I am verbally attacked? For vhat? Crossing a bridge and taking precautions against attack. Are all veres as nasty and stupid as you, eh, idiot gaje? Or is it just the bitches like you? [/justify]

Cain was on a run that day, which was a rarity. Few had really seen him in his wolf form, but he was an odd person in general. With the stress of the club lately though, he was sleeping during the day and working through the night more than ever.
A few stray werewolves had also been causing a ruckus in his club the other evening, and he had found them only a few hours earlier in the woods. They wouldn't be a problem for him, or either of the packs now. He was resting near the water, having finished licking the blood from his golden fur. His fur had taken on the same color of his hair, with a mixture of sandy blond, light brown, and gold. He was a large male, though it seemed that he won fights out of sheer ferocity than actual strength.
He lifted his head, catching two female werewolf scents a few hundred yards away. He was downwind of them, and stood to stretch before beginning to trot over. Normally he would avoid other werewolves in general, but new scents meant new werewolves. He liked to make sure troublesome people stayed away, though he mostly worried about male werewolves causing trouble than females. He was a loner, but was an ally of the packs and the town. Being the owner of the club helped, since that meant people immediately assumed he wasn't above breaking the rules. He was also one of the few Americans within this Romanian town, and was once a human.
He soon spotted the two females ahead, though kept silent for the most part as he slowly picked up on their conversation. He recognized one of the ladies, though the second was probably new to the area. Well, at least Char was giving her the typical werewolf welcome.
He paused as he felt he was getting too close, his tail wagging similar to how he was always smiling as a human. Oh, they might actually start fighting. Well, not like that was really unusual. He knew they would notice him quickly, though he wasn't worried about being thrown into a small scuffle. The werewolves he had just fought against had been a bunch of brats, so he was still in a playful mood.

The grey she-wolf didn't catch his scent, but faint pawsteps near caused her muzzle to whip around, yellow-gold eyes searching the foliage around her. A flash of golden fur and she recognised the male werewolf. She didn't know his second name, but his first was Cain. Although Char didn't find him particularly attractive in human form, his gold fur certainly was striking. Glancing back at the other female, she growled at her to stay where she was and trotted over to greet Cain. She rubbed her muzzle on his and gave him a wolfy grin. [blue]Hello Cain, I don't think we've met properly before but I'm Charlotte Grayson, huntress in the infiniteria pack. This female is new and stupid by the looks of that dog tag around her neck.[/blue] The she-wolfs accent became more and more pronounced as she went on, anger rising in her. Her hackles bristled and her lips started to draw back again. Making a physical effort to calm down, she cleared her head. Really, she was being horrible to the other she-wolf when she did not deserve it, but the trash talk did not bother Char one bit, her pride would be very much hurt if she was forced to apologise. In means of reconciling what friendlyness the chocolate wolf had, she approached again, more carefully this time, and dipped her head in respect. [blue]Would you like to join us?[/blue] She asked politely. She was trying so very hard. She would wait for this females reaction before she continued any further in her politness.

Otto grumbled and snorted hard when a few drops of rain got in her nose. When she looked up again the other female was trotting off to greet a third wolf. Otto scowled as much as she was capable in her lupine shape, snorted hard, and turned around to walk off while the over aggressive hunk of fluff trotted off to flirt with the blondey. Otto had no interest in such a two faced creature, though it was a shame she wouldn't get to talk to the other wolf. She still couldn't smell very well through the heavy rains, but assumed the golden one to be a werewolf as well, probably a male if size were any indicator.
As Otto trotted off she could pick up faint whisps of the conversation, and the stranger's further insults nearly made her turn around and maul the whore. They'd see who was stupid when the one without a collar had a silver bullet through he rancid heart. The stranger must not have been paying much attention when she asked Otto to join them, because she was very nearly down the river by that time. Vhy vould I? She snarled gracelessly, curling her tail in an "S" shape as the lupine equivalent to flipping the bird. You haffen't been exactly velcoming, Otto hissed, almost sassy. [/justify]

He returned her greeting, before giving her muzzle a small push with his own. "Cain Murrok. I know of most of what goes on in the packs." he responded, before giving a wolfish grin. "Though I'm justas big of a fan of cat-fights as the next guy, I can't use a camera with these paws." He shook his head as a drop of rain hit his nose. "You shouldn't mock her sense of fashion either." he teased before walking over to the brown wolf. He did appreciate the small bit of kindness in Charlotte's invitation, but the other female was right. She didn't have much of a reason to accept. "Because although she might seem like a bit of a hissy pussy cat, Charlotte isn't all bad. Besides, the infiniteria pack are a friendly bunch. You want to get along with the groups, not fight them." he supplied, tail wagging again in a friendly manner.

The grey she-wolf's grin became wider after his teasing. She nudged his flank gently as he went past to show her appreciation of the comment. Moving over to the other wolf, the newcomer, and standing next to Cain, the other wolf spoke again. Char wrinkled her muzzle into an ugly snarl at the chocolate wolf but before the sound could burst into life Cain spoke, cutting her off. Her eyes were wide as he, in effect, complimented her. His tail wagged in a gesture of peace and welcome. The she-wolf almost snorted. But Cain was right, she shouldn't fight with the stranger. Stepping forward, past Cain so it wouldn't seem like she was using his protection, she lifted her head and lowered her tail a little bit, so it was a less of an angle to the strangers. Charlotte wouldn't dip her head again, her pride had been wounded enough doing that, so instead she relaxed her whole posture and wagged her tail too. [blue]I know I haven't been welcoming but I suppose I'm a little anxious to prove my place in this pack since I haven't been here long. Could we at least be acquaintances?[/blue] The grey wolf could barely keep the exasperation out of her tone by the last few words, and she heaved a dramatic sigh, giving up with trying to reconcile with the stranger. She turned and started to pad away, pausing only to nudge Cain under the chin [blue]Nice meeting you. I might come and see you down at the Blue Moon sometime.[/blue] And with that, her paws started to lead her away from the two wolves, figuring she could do no more to be nice to the newcomer.

If she could have Otto would've raised an eyebrow at the male as he addressed her. Wasn't he quite the Cassanova. Still, it annoyed her that he was somehow scolding her when all she'd done was walk across a bridge. If this was a friendly reception I vould hate to see an aggressive one, she responded, unsure of what to make of the pair. Otto was still clumsy in interactions with other weres, unsure of where the canine behavior ended and human stepped in, and wondered if she was doing this right. The more she encountered other weres, the more she realized they were very different from the people she was used to.
Prove her place? Acting like that, all she'd prove was an idiot love for starting fights. Granted Otto loved a good brawl, but if you ran around randomly insulting everyone you met one day you'd run across someone that's make you eat your own teeth. Or worse, take out their ire on the people you cared about. Rather than answering this Charlotte's yammering, Otto rolled her eyes. She wasn't the type to hold grudges, but had little patience for idiots.
Are all female veres that bitchy? Otto grumbled at the male, eyeing Charlotte's retreating form with distaste. When running around with the city dogs she found dominance posturing was common, but that was ridiculous. The chocolate wolf's posture relaxed a bit with the aggressive party no longer present, but her tail was not wagging. Otto was still suspicious of this stranger, even if he seemed far gentler than the female.

Crain returned the farewell, giving her heels a playful nip. "If you do, I will serve you a drink. On the house." he responded, seeming to be very light hearted. He had been prepared to stop a possible bad fight, but stopping it before it even started was even better. If only he could carry a camera in this form though...catching women fighting always seemed to entertain well.
"Yep!" Cain barked, tail wagging even more as a werewolf-like smile spread over his features. "I think it's just part of the wolf within though that makes them act like it though. From what I've heard she's still new. Being strong in a pack is a sign of power, and in a way you are a possible threat to the pack." He stood and shook, before sitting and scratching at one of his ears. "You don't know many weres, do you? Your accent tells me you're Romani, though. Cute how I can still hear it even in this form."

Otto sighed, rather disappointed by his answer. Well shit. Still, she shouldn't have been too surprised. Otto had always preferred the company of men to women, so why would it change now? As the male continued speaking, she found it rather troublesome that he could read her so easily. Still, the things he said were true, so she merely nodded. I vas bitten some years ago and I haff been making more off an effort to meet other veres lately, Otto explained, trying to remain patient. It was nice that he at least called her by the proper name, but ignored the comment that her accent was cute. In her head or from her mouth it was her voice wasn't it? It ought to sound like her.
I can promise I am no threat to any verevolf. I am just trying to learn more about our kind and stretch my muscles. I did not vant to get in a fight the instant I stepped into the park, the Romani carried on, wanting to relax but still wary. This male was bigger than her, and a stranger. Not to mention it was clear she didn't know much about how werewolves were supposed to act.
