Keeping her position, sat calmly as Eclipse circled her, she smirked, the gentle flick of her tail being the only sign of excitement and adrenaline that coursed through her veins and caused her heart to hammer. And thus began the mind games... It was true to say that Elena wasn't one for the traditional way of courtship, she was always an advocate of the mental chase; whether it was her being chased, or her doing the chasing.
As he stopped, she rose to face him, growling in a chuckle before sauntering past him towards the trees, pausing to glance over her shoulder for a moment.
Perhaps... But maybe I want to hear it from you. After all, what fun is it to just allude to something like that?
She grinned, tail flicking from side to side in an excitable metronome, still not entirely sure what to make of this encouraging banter, but deciding to go with it. After all, whatever lay at the bottom of this proverbial barrel couldn't be anything bad... Surprising, and rather the experience, perhaps, but never anything bad.
You know I won't stop until I get my answers... Am I gonna need to chase you down for them?

[glow=white,2,300]Eclipse Holt [/glow] What part of 'born wolf' don't you understand? Eclipse couldn't help himself. When Elena moved past him, wolf jaws reached out, fangs lightly trailing over her bushy plume that branched out behind her, while he was almost drawn toward her. Stopping himself from following right along behind her, Eclipse quickly lifted his head, muzzle drawn back in a slight playful snarl. All the most reason to continue alluding if it leads to a beautiful she-wolf trailing on my tail, he growled, walking slowly toward her.
With each step, his muscles bunched and relaxed, preparing to take off the second he was past her. He looked forward to a run, it was something that relaxed his mind when the position of Alpha was looking to hard. Now, he found that maybe a run with a pretty she-wolf would be just as exciting. Stepping closer to Elena, his head lowered, golden amber orbs flashing as his shoulder rubbed against her's. Her tail was flicking side to side, his matched her rhythm.
Won't stop? . . . . I think I may hold onto my answer just a little longer,
he grinned wolfishly, back end lowering slightly as his muscles bunched. His tail brushed the ground and he was off, the drum of his paws beating the ground as he took off, running away from Elena.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Feeling herself drawn forward, almost by some sort of magnetic pull, Elena wasted no time in chasing after him, the thundering of paws on earth, crunching of leaves beneath claws and the wind sailing through her fur only adding to the intoxicating adrenaline pulsing through her veins. The gentle touches of his obsidian fur to her own pale gold had already sent her heart rate soaring, and now the promise of more... well, that was a whole other feeling entirely.
Ducking and diving through an obstacle course of undergrowth, she manoeuvred her lithe form through entwining branches and bushes, never taking her sight off of the wolf before her, able to almost keep up with his long, powerful strides with quick, but light ones of her own, paws barely making a sound.
The trees around them were beginning to thin out, the rocky edge of the mountain beginning to rise up in jagged clumps on the horizon. The soil and earth began to transition into harsher rock, sending sparks up through the she-wolf's legs, but never slowing her down.
Lowering her head, she pressed forward, beginning to fall into step with Eclipse, shooting him a pointed, if not slightly teasing look, her eyes shining a bright grey-blue, reflecting the clouds in the sky above.
Feel like giving up yet? I can go all night, you know.
