Kate nearly took a step back in shock when the girl's eyes flashed red, who does that? She spoke, her voice snarky and poisonous. The human replied with an equally dripping tone.[yellow] Right? I have a right to my own opinion and feelings, and my feelings took me here. I knocked politely, and he invited me in. And don't call me little girl, cos I am so over that.[/yellow] Her own hands balled into fists and her shoulders tensed. Despite the dire situation, a voice in Kate's head was running around screaming I've never had this much fun in my whole life! And it was true, she hadn't. A malicious grimace pasted itself on her full lips as the stranger spoke again. [yellow]Like I said, he invited. Me. In.[/yellow] She'd have enough of this, letting out a some kind of loud, aggressive battle cry, she ran forward, attempting to barrel the girl to the ground. How dare she burst into this poor mans apartment? She was as much the rulebreaker as Kate was! And sh hadn't even done anything wrong. A fleeting glance at William suggested he wanted nothing to do with a pair of screaming, kicking girls. That was probably wise.

Heh. Apparently the 'little girl' thing touched a nerve... Peri couldn't help but smile, showing a flash of razor sharp canines, glinting in a deadly fashion in the light. Oh this girl was insufferable. Thinking that she could just go barging into Will's apartment because the little human got interested in the 'myth' of lycanthropy. She supposed that the girl must have at least been reasonably good with her research to track down Will... Hell, she probably thought she'd struck gold, given how easily broken down he was...
Jaw clenching at the thought that this little psycho had taken advantage of him in such a way, Peri opened her mouth to speak, eyes widening as she saw the girl suddenly leap towards her, only just having enough time to shield her face as the two of them were sent tumbling to the floor, pain shooting through her back as it connected with the hard ground. Oh goodie, she now had a perfect excuse to hurt this girl bad. It was now a case of self defence. Not her fault.
Driving her knee up hard into the girl's stomach, with what she hoped to be enough force to throw her off, Peri growled viciously, her inner wolf leaping to the forefront of her mind, ready for a fight.

William gave a little doggy yelp of surprise as the young girl launched herself at Peri, pulling himself up onto the sofa to avoid her flailing limbs. Oh God...Please no...please don't start fighting.. Not in his apartment.
As much as his heart went out to Peri for racing to his aid, he couldn't help but feel a twinge of fear for Kate; Peri, being inclined to werewolf strength and a short temper, could easily make short work of a human, especially a little girl.
He eyed the door, calculating how far he had to run until he would be out in the safety of the hallway.

Kate's own teeth were bared as she pushed the other girl to the ground, letting out a yelp of pain as a knee was driven hard into her stomach. But all the defenses she had built up in school came crashing down, allowing her to lock away the pain. Throwing a fist into the other girls face, she enjoyed the sound of her hand crunching into her. Sitting up so she was straddling her to the ground, she lifted her fist to punch her again. God this was exhilarating. She'd met a werewolf, and now she was fighting one! Kate laughed, eyes shining. This was so much better than her old life of boring exams and bullying. The reminder of bullying made her laugh stop short, and she looked down at the woman, ready to hit her again.

Letting out a small, muffled groan as she felt the girl's fist connect with her jaw, Peri shook her head quickly to throw off the dizzying pain that rattled through her head, arms and legs tensing as she realized the girl - taking her off guard - had managed to pin her limbs to the ground. Huh. Not half bad for a kid. She was obviously experienced... Perhaps not so much with fighting dirty, however.
And that was Peri's speciality. Hearing the girl's laugh sparked boiling fury within Peri, wondering how a young girl such as herself could be so... Twisted in the head. Here she was, throwing her weight around amongst werewolves, and now she was even trying to fight one? She really didn't know what kind of world she was entering into.
Throwing her head back, she proceeded to headbutt the girl square in the forehead as hard as she could, her own brute strength doubled by the added power that came with being a werewolf, counting on this throwing the girl off balance enough so that Peri could throw her off, feeling the impact rattle through her skull, but dulled by the pumping adrenaline and the mental preparation for the move.

William felt another whimper escape his throat as the two girls fought, the wolf side of him trying to persuade him that it was just a simple wrestle between females. But the, for once, more powerful, overriding human side of him was screaming at him run; get away now! before he made anything else worse.
Giving a sleeve a final tug, he sudden leaped from the chair and bolted for the door, his face a little grimace of fear. He was going to regret this later, oh so much, he knew. But right now, his instincts had kicked in, and all that mattered to William was running away as fast as he could.

Kate yelled out as the werewolf knocked her squarely in the head with her own. The girls hand flew up to where she had been hit. Damn that was going to bruise. She rolled off the older girl and stood, hand still covering her forehead. Pain rocked waves through her brain and she felt it all the way to her toes. What was she doing fighting a fricking werewolf? She stood still, watching the other girl with harsh blue eyes, hoping she wouldn't hit her again. It had been luck that had allowed her to throw the girl on the ground at hit her hard enough to make her groan. Kate had done a little kickboxing when she was younger but stopped when she had gotten Rocky. She smiled a little at the memory of her beautiful boy, the pain of leaving him behind still clear. Glancing at her again, she waited to see if she would attack.
