Shane walked slowly around the monastery. He had come here in hopes of finding some peace of mind or relaxation, but obviously this place was nothing like the usual, holy monastery. It had been corrupted by Vlad and now it was anything but holy. There weren't many people around the island on a Tuesday, as many people were usually working, but Shane had a huge inheritance from his parents since they used to be the richest family in Bucharest. And with Isa dead, the inheritance was only being split into two--half to Shane, half to Luschka.
No one knew Shane had a sister. Led alone his sister being the Beta Female of Infiniteria. If people knew, he would probably be kicked out and told to join his sister in Infiniteria. And that was the last thing he wanted at the moment. He hadn't checked up on her for a while and he wondered how she was doing. As far as Shane knew, Lu has never had a boyfriend, she is a virgin, and she is deathly afraid of Werewolf Hunters. My how things had changed in the past two weeks.
If he only knew that his sister was now dating Seth Amos, the most notorious Werewolf Hunter in the world, and they had just had sex the other night, Shane wouldn't be able to sleep at night. But anyway, back to the present moment. Shane continued walking through the monastery, but now he was picking up his pace since he heard fast approaching footsteps coming from behind him and he was known for being paranoid. He wondered who it was.

Kate had been strolling around the old monastery, enjoying the smell of history in all its nooks and crannies. Hoisting her bag onto her shoulder, she looked down and brushed off some of the dust that had floated off the artifacts when she had touched them gently. She was wearing her faveourite leather jacket and a low cut top that wasn't too outrageous. Her oldest pair of faded skinny jeans and a pair of black boots. She wasn't too stylish today as she hadn't expected to be seeing many people at the monastery because the people of Bucharest and Eden Town didn't strike her as the history loving type. But, as soon as she thought it, she saw a tall figure strolling toward her. The sun danced off his black hair and his golden eyes toned nicely with his skin. Muscles were bulging to get out of his t-shirt. Her mouth all but dropped open and started drooling. He was gorgeous. Kate was a virgin, very much so, and the alien feeling of want slash need was overpowering, but she sank back into the shadows and let him pass so she could get a good look at him. Yep, suspicions confirmed beautiful and, werewolf? Her eyes blinked a couple of times before it finally hit her. Holding her bag strap, she ran after him. When she reached him, she started walking next to him, taking more steps than he because he was so much taller, and smiled up at him. [yellow]Hi, I'm Kate.[/yellow] She now felt stupid, as she didn't know what else to say. And she sounded like some Gid-damn hooker.

When Shane realized it was a pretty girl he slowed down. Kate. Hmm...nice name She nodded and decided it would be easier to introduce themselves if they were standing still. He gently took her by the wrist and led her to the wall. He leaned on it casually and smiled charmingly. Holding out his hand, he spoke in his husky, low voice. Kate. Nice name. I'm Shane by the way. Shane listened around. Still no one. Wow. He should come on a Tuesday more often. Turning his attention back to her, he decided he didn't want to wait for her to put her hand into his so he just took it, softly, and kissed the top of it.
He released her much smaller hand and stood up straight again. Wow. He was being really clichè this morning. Chuckling quietly he turned his head to look around. Anywhere but at her. This was embaressing. He was being such a fool today. Well he was going to hell anyway so why not take advantage of his time? Turning back to her, he could see her mesmerized look while she watched him. Strange. No-one's ever looked at him that way. His sisters, all the time. But never him. Maybe his luck was changing. Maybe he should go for humans instead of werewolves? Hm...

Kate got a little worried when he took her wrist, looking around but seeing no-one, she had no choice but to follow him. When she saw he was only leading her to the wall she relaxed. He wasn't going to hurt her. He leaned on it casually and smiled. He had a great smile. He held out his hand, and the human wasn't really sure what he wanted her to do, but it didn't matter as he picked up her hand himself. Oh, she blushed as he kissed it. She wasn't really sure about the way he was acting, did that mean he liked her? No-one had ever acted like they were interested in her, and Kate hadn't been looking for them. She was a little disappointed when he let go and stood up. God, he was so tall, and even she was tall for her age and for a girl. He chuckled and looked around. Ok, now she was confused - did that mean he just wanted to get out of there? This is soooo embarrasing, she thought. He turned back to her, seeming like he was thinking deeply. Kate cleared her throat gently, putting her hands on her skinny thighs.[yellow] So, do you like history?[/yellow] She gestured to the monastery. It would be nice to have something in common with him.

Shane nodded and looked around. Some. Other history can just be....well....depressing. He trailed off, thinking about his parents. His sisters. He sighed and looked at her again, speculatively. How about you? He flared his nostrils, thinking. He did this a lot when he was thinking. He thought a lot too. He sighed and rubbed his jaw.
Shane's gold eyes looked at this young girl skeptically. Wow, she was so young. She could be a good friend. But probably nothing more. A werewolf and a human together could be dangerous and at the moment, if they were to get together, it would be illeagal since she was a minor. Shane shifted his weight and ran his fingers through his thick, black-as-night hair.

Kate smiled as he spoke. What Shane said was true. She personally hated the two World Wars, because they were depressing.[yellow] I agree. But this monastery is beautiful.[/yellow] She thought about how she could get to spend more time with him without making a fool out of herself, she wondered if he would take her to get something to eat. [yellow] But right now, I don't feel in a history mood. I'm hungry. Wait, no that was rude of me, I'm sorry, I don't know what I'm doing.[/yellow] Kate ran a slender hand through her silky black hair, a pink blush dotting on the apples of her cheeks. Gathering up all her courage, she breathed, in decided to just tell him what she thought. [yellow]Ok, I'm not really sure if I'm doing this right but I like you, and I'd like to spend more time with you. I don't have an apartment, but maybe we could have a picnic or something? In the woods? I just...[/yellow] Kate trailed off. She didn't know what else to say, Shane's eyes on her made her nervous, but it gave her such a glow inside she couldn't get enough of his company. And she'd only met him minutes ago! [yellow]How old are you?[/yellow] Her eyes narrowed slightly, he didn't look old, but he certainly was older than her. She looked up at him, wanting to take his hand, but this was all still so new to her.

Shane watched her skeptically, one eyebrow raised. Twenty four. You? He looked her over. She looked about fifteen....or sixteen....either way it wouldn't be right. He wouldn't feel comfortable with someone so young. He could be her friend though. Yea. They could be friends. He nodded his head slowly to himself. Hmmm....how can she like me? She doesn't even know me. She must learn that love and lust don't always go hand and hand. And how could she even think I'm attractive? Well, she is human....that could explain it. I might look beautiful to a human--but a werewolf? Probably not so much. It would be dangerous for me to be with a human though....very dangerous....I think I'll just stick with werewolves who aren't as fragile.

occ: hehe, me and Kittelz have a plot going on and Kate is going to be a bitten werewolf soon! xD Twenty-four? He didn't look that old! She swallowed quietly, desperately trying to get her feelings in check as she realized this was never going to work out, or at least he would never want to be with someone her age. [yellow]Er.. I'm sixteen.[/yellow] She waited for him to just turn and walk away, no longer interested in her in any way. She looked down at her shoes, her cheeks red with burning shame because she had told him that she liked him. How can I have been so stupid?Feeling the blush wither away, she looked back up to his handsome face and wondered, was he a werewolf too? Would that make him even more wary of being with a human? Her eyebrows knitted together a little, a frown now spreading across her face. She looked around, checking that no-one else was about and whispered, knowing if he could hear her, he was a werewolf. [yellow]Are you a werewolf too?[/yellow]
