Luschka was usually never one to show weakness. And she was at this moment. For the first time she didn't know what to do. Or say. She was frozen. She blinked a few times and opened her mouth, about to say something. But it wouldn't come out. It was stuck in her throat. She watched him with a dumbfounded look as he opened the door and basically told her to get out. She had stopped crying because her whole body was frozen and she couldn't do anything.
This was Seth Amos. Her mate. Her lover. Her one true love. She sniffled and scratched the back of her head. Maybe it was time to tell him...? Would he kill her...? She shook her head and bit her lip before speaking. No. You'll never be that one hunter I spent that one night with. Ever. You mean so much to me. And you always will. No matter what, you'll always mean so much to me. Whether you love me or not, I will always love you. Lu wanted to go over and touch him. Kiss him. But she couldn't. What if he didn't ant her anymore? She swallowed, practically losing her mind. She had to tell him. Seth....I'm not a normal girl....

((Yes, he will. I don't believe in love at first sight, and Seth is already pretty pissed. I like a really good solid foundation in relationships. A good time to reveal herself is probably while saving someone, which would cause him to simply walk away and not attack.))
He was glaring at the floor now, obviously frustrated with himself. "I can't just say what I'm feeling or show it like you do, Luschka. I don't know how." He had probably spoken more in these past few days than he had in his entire life. He was mostly just nodding and grunting, or yelling. Did he love her? He wasn't sure, and her constantly asking and saying it to him caused him to fluster. He didn't like feeling pressured, and currently he felt like his emotions were being shoved upon him.
It wasn't a good feeling. He couldn't verbally tell his affection, but he could show it physically in small actions. Last night he had focused on her needs instead of his own. He'd cooked for her, an action he had never even considered before. He'd only been in Romania for a little over a week, and suddenly he was being asked to stay forever. For the past twenty five years he'd been constantly moving, staying in one place scared him. He had enemies, and many people that wanted to rip out his throat.

Luschka lifted the side of her lip in a half grin. It wasn't a huge success. She decided not to tell him and that this wasn't the right time. She sighed and cocked her head slightly. I'm sorry. She frowned but stayed still. Oh, how she wanted to be next to him. Listen, Seth, I'm not asking you to stay forever. I'm not asking you to tell me if you love me or not. I was just asking why you didn't. And you answered me. That's all I wanted. I know that one day you're going to have to leave--and I'm okay with that--but I just want to know if you'd want me to come with you or not.
Lu took a step forward, finally letting go a little bit. She never knew how much energy holding something back took. He could probably tell now how much she wanted to be next to him. To touch him. She sighed. This is all so new to me as well. I understand how confused you feel. I feel the same way. She cocked her head again and pursed her lips. The truth rang in her ears. This was so new to her. She'd never felt this way before. She'd been shutting out the people and things that she loved for years in fear she would be hurt again. But this was different. She wasn't afraid anymore. |

He sighed, closing the door as he saw that she wasn't in a hurry to leave him. His shoulders slumped, and he ran a hand through his hair as he rubbed his temples. "I'm sorry I yelled..." he finally said, eyes still downcast towards the floor. "This is all going really fast, I want to slow down a bit."

Luschka nodded, slowly, but she understood. It was true though--they're relationship was progressing rather fast. They hadn't even known eachother for two weeks and they had already had sex. Some people didn't have sex for years. She sighed and walked over to him, placing a hand on the small of his back. I understand. She paused for a second and then resumed her speaking. Do you want me to leave? I mean, I want to stay....but what do you want....? She tilted her head and smiled a little bit. |

"..."He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. "I think you should go home for today. He was tired and sore, and probably would be in a hospital bed if hospitals would treat him.
"I think I need to rest anyways. he paused, "Take my phone number though, and call me whenever you want."

Luschka smiled a little as he pulled her close. Even though he told her she should go she didn't feel upset now. Okay. And take mine too. If you ever want to talk, I'll always be available at this number. She dug through her pockets and took out a piece of paper, wrote her number on it and handed it to him. |

He scribbled down his own number as well. "Luschka, just please be careful too. I do have people that want me dead, and I don't think I could handle them using you to get me. If you ever feel in danger, you call me right away."

Luschka nodded because even though she was a werewolf and she could handle anyone who came her way, she probably would call him. Just because she would feel better if he was there. Or maybe she shouldn't? Because if he went then there was a chance he would get hurt as well? She sighed and kissed him quickly on the lips before smiling half heartedly, grabbing her coat, and walking to the door. Before she left though, she smiled back at him and spoke softly. See you soon. With that she turned and walked out the door. She released a deep breath and shook her head. What a night. She groaned and picked up a jog toward the forest where she would shift and go home. |

He gave her a weak wave, watching as the door closed behind her. He turned, looking at his now empty apartment. It had never felt so empty before...
He sighed, going through and setting his traps before putting his things back where they had been before the sudden visit from Luschka's friend. Once that was done, he went to his room and crawled back into bed. He hadn't realized how tired he was, and just how much his body ached.
He sighed..."Damn werewolves" before falling asleep.
