Physical Description: Maria is five-foot six, has brown eyes, natural red hair and her skin is lightly tanned. Though she looks fragile, she is though and strong. She has three scars, one behind her ear, one on her shoulder blade, and one crescent shaped one on her theigh from being bitten. All are very small and without the proper lighting and careful inspection, you would never notice. She had a tattoo on the back of her neck that shows birds flying. This means very much to her because she has always wanted her dreams to take flight.
Personality: Maria is kind, outgoing, energetic and loves to flirt. She's a tease, yes, but when she's serious about someone she knows it and she makes sure they do too. She is very good at keeping secrets and she is very mysterious. Maria is a person who is very much in tune with nature and if you are just meeting her you might think she's a little crazy.
She's very loose and just a go-with-the-flow kind of girl, but if you piss her off, you better watch out. Her temper is as firey as her hair and she canbe quite vicious. She is not quick to trust so it might take a while of conversing and hanging out before she completely trusts you. Maria loves people and animals. She doesn't drink or smoke, as she knows what it does to her. She is very smart and her favorite thing to do is be with animals.
History: Maria was born to a human mother and father. Her parents knew werewolves existed and they were actually werewolf hunters. They wanted to train Maria to be a werewolf hunter and she had been training for a while before her family was attacked. Maria's family is probably the second most well-known werewolf hunting family, next to the Amoses. When she was sixteen her family was attacked by werewolves at night while they were sleeping.
The werewolves killed her parents and since Maria was better than her parents, she managed to get away with three scars--one being a bite mark. She was bitten and she, herself was turned into a werewolf. She still to this day is a werewolf hunter. All other hunters know that she is a werewolf, but they also know she is better than all others so they don't dare rise against her. They know this bite made her stronger and so now she is a better werewolf hunter.
Sure, it goes against her werewolf nature, but her hunter nature tells her to continue and that being a werewolf only makes her stronger, and on the bright side, she doesn't have to worry about being bitten again. Shortly after she was changed, she fell in love with a werewolf and they had a child, Gia. Being they were both full werewolves, other hunters killed them. And in return, she killed the hunters. She is all alone now and she has come to Romania to hunt werewolves and hunters. You will know it's a Gonzales hunter because of her traditional hunting attire: all black clothes and a tribal mask.
[/size]Body Desciption: Maria maintains her red hair in wolf form, yet as a wolf she has much black, grey and amber added into her thick coat. She is thin and might look sickly, but she is incredibly strong. Just like in her human form. She has the same three scars, but they are more noticeable in her wolf form, as the fur is missing from those spots and reveal her pink wolf skin.
