Running Into A Stranger(August/Open)

A young blonde female had just finished eating, tipped the waitress and was leaving the Red Dragon. Well, about to leave, she wanted to finished her ice cream and paying ahead of time, was to easy for her. Alicia needed this break. This time to herself as her mind had kept wondering the day before about her half-brother Valentine. She hadn't really been looking for him, but then again she hadn't stopped looking for him either. She wanted to know what her brother was like, why he never came and found her when he had realized that she was born. Did her mother not care for him? Did she not want Alicia and Valentine to meet?

Finally finished with her dessert, Alicia got up and left the building. She wasn't like your normal pretty blonde girl that everyone that was dumb. Alicia was a very smart girl that knew how to get what she wanted. Looking down at her hands, trying to clean them with hand sanitize, she wasn't paying attention to where she was going and so Alicia ended up running into another girl. Falling to the ground, Alicia blinked and looked up. Standing up she brushed herself off, "Sorry about that. Should've watched where I was going." she said, helping the girl up.

August walked through the streets of Eden Town, spotting a nice little Chinese restaurant, recognizing the name of the place she read in a magazine, remembering the review was about 4 stars out of five, so that was amazing. And good enough for August. Just as she was about to enter the shop a flower stand caught her eye, not looking she bumped into a girl and caught a face full of blonde hair. As fast as she fell, she stood up and heard the girl apologize.

"Sorry about that. Should've watched where I was going."

August saw the true apology in her eyes as she was being helped up.

"No sorry, it was my fault, i wasn't concentrating on where i was going, got distracted",

August just smiled and cleaned herself up when she stood back up. August then just stood there not knowing what to say next she finalled answered.

"My name is August by the way, haha funny way of meeting someone, by litterally bumping into them"

[/size=1]Alicia smiled softly at the young girl in front of her. She knew who August was, Azuki had mentioned her many times. Azuki seemed fond of the girl, but Alicia hadn't met the girl to begin with. "We both were distracted. So, don't worry about it." she said, running her fingers through her wavy blonde hair. "I'm Alicia. Azuki's mentioned you a couple of times to you, of course she hasn't met you herself, but still. It's fine to finally meet you August."[/size][/blockquote]

August got a puzzled look and tilted her head to the right, adding a little cuteness to the expression. Seeing the blonde girl is about to burst in laughter, a smile formed on her face.

"If i knew who Azuki was I would have known who you are talking about. I'm still a little new around here, and haven't gotten around to meet everyone."

August gestured that they go sit a nearby table and sit down.

Alicia chuckled a bit at the girl in front of her. Sitting down with August, Alicia smiled at her. "It's completely fine. Azuki is a friend of mine and apart of the pack. She is one of the hunters, while I'm one of the warriors." she said, giving August a small smile. "So you just joined Eclipse's pack?" she asked, not wanting to feel like she was being conceded.

August sat down and shifted her weight to get comfortable as the girl spoke.

"I didn't catch your name though, but i did go to see Eclipse and joined in the pack as a scout. Sounds like a great position, i like being in a stealthy situation."

August made a James Bond impression and started giggling when she saw a lady from another table was staring at her.

"Oh, I'm sorry. My name is Alicia Saber I'm one of his warriors." she said, reaching her hand out to be shaken. Alicia nodded, "Being a Scout is a good position to be. It helps us know if there is anything intruders." she said. Seeing the girls expression made her smile and laugh a bit. August was a really sweet girl, no wonder Azuki was wanting to meet her. Looking down at her cell phone, Alicia saw that Azuki had texted her, wondering if she was busy. Sighing, Alicia answered her saying no before looking back at August. "Sorry about that, Azuki had sent me a message."

"Oh, I'm sorry. My name is Alicia Saber I'm one of his warriors."


August shook Alicia's hand and laughed.

"I like your name by the way,it was the name of my best friend back in middle school, she moved away, i never saw her again.

August saw a memory of the girl's face and just smiled to herself. She then heard a faint beeping noise, it was a cellphone sound, her ears taking in every sound she focused on and noticed Alicia just tapped two buttons, she guessed it was a quick answer, but she waved her hand and the waitress came closer.

"Sorry about that, Azuki had sent me a message."

"Oh no it's fine, should we get some coffee or something to eat or should we go some place else?

August shook her hand before saying she liked Alicia's name. "Thanks. I like your name to, never met someone with your name." she said, smiling slightly. It was true. Alicia didn't know anyone by the name of Azuki until she had met Azuki herself. Azuki was a sweet girl, but she had a problem with being shy. Especially when she spoke of Blayde. A werewolf hunter for heaven stakes. Alicia nodded, "Go ahead. I've eaten already but be my guest and order yourself something."

Eagerly August ordered something of the menu, not wanting to let her stomach growl the whole time they were talking. She accepted the compliment from Alicia and just gave a big smile.

"How long have you known Azuki? Are you close friends? When will i get to meet her? She sounds splendid, and very nice. I like you a lot you are a very friendly person, and if all of the people here are as friendly as you then i am going to enjoy being here in Eden Town"

Her phone went off again, but she didn't answer it, not yet. "I've known Azuki since me and her have been in the pack. I met her a few years ago before I joined and we became friends really quick and plus, she's easy to get along with. I can call her and get her to meet you." she said, pulling out her phone. It wouldn't be hard to get Azuki out of the Inn. She was more than likely already out and about without Eclipse knowing about it.

August's food arrived and she ate, she heard the faint beeping sound again and let it be, Alicia mentioned that she could get Azuki to come and join, but she wasn't ready to more new people, as an introvert it's hard for her to function around a lot of people. Which didn't seem to bother her in wolf state.

"Oh no it's fine, i would like to get to know you better, i'm just a little shy, i'm an introvert. So it's hard to function around a lot of people"

August smiled at the girl not trying to sound stupid or anything.

Alicia smiled and put her phone on the table. "That is completely understandable August. Many people are shy when it comes to knew people, Azuki was like that until she got comfortable." she said, then chuckled. "Enough about Azuki, tell me about yourself." she added, giving the girl across the table a smile, but soft smile. Alicia was easy to get along with, easy to talk to and pretty much an easy girl to just be around. But she understood why the girl was shy. So, Alicia wasn't going to push her into doing anything. All she wanted was August to be comfortable around her.

August finished her food and felt some food on her mouth and wiped it away with a nearby napkin. She took a sip of her soda and cleared her throat and started with just the basics of her history, she didn't need to know about everything.

"Well, i was born in England, born a werewolf, London 23rd August 1990, my mother's name is April Brown and my father's name is Arthur Brown. They are both dead at the moment, i...i also have a sister. I came here to maybe find her, but not sure i want to make a fresh start too."

August felt tears burning in her eyes, feeling a single tear escaping from the corner of her eye, she quickly wiped it away. And just smiled a Alicia, finishing her soda as she sat there.

"Enough of me, how about you, what's you story?"

Alicia listened to her intently. August had a interesting history that Alicia was happy to get to know. It was interesting as Alicia compared it to her life as well. You see, Alicia had lost both of her parents, found out that she had a half-brother that her mother hadn't troubled to tell her until before she had died on her death bed. Blinking, Alicia took in a deep breath and looked over at August.

"Well, I was born here, in Romania. I'm a pure blood werewolf, therefore I was born a werewolf on the 11th of August 1991 to Alison and Micheal Saber. Of course, they are both deceased now, I found out that I have a half-brother, from my mothers first marriage. I've been looking for him and I assume he has been looking for me too." she said, her mind slipping to the picture of Valentine she had found. Blinking, Alicia looked up and saw the the small tear escape the corner of her eye, and she got worried until August smiled.
