 The street lights flickered by, each glowing brightly in the crispy night air. The road seemed to carry on forever and the bus had only stopped once since Michelle had gotten on it. She sat in the second row from the front, alone. Her head was hanging against the window and her auburn hair fell across her face as she breathed in rhythmically and slowly. Her emerald green eyes were closed and dreamt of a world far away where she never had to leave her home, a place where peace existed naturally. She was wearing a grey hoodie and her favorite pair of blue and washed out skinny jeans.
The buss bounced to a stop and woke Michelle, eyes fluttering open slowly as she quickly remembered where she was. It was dark outside except for a few street lights and the bus stop. A sign read “Welcome to Eden Town” and Michelle got up slowly, rubbing her eyes and gazing at her watch, which read 12:03 PM. //Great, how am I going to find a room at this time of the night?// she thought as she exited the bus, pulling a large bag of all her belongings on after her. She handed the bus driver her ticket and before long he was gone. She had been the only one to get out of the bus at this stop and now she stood all alone in the middle of the town at the middle of the night. Pulling her hoodie’s hood over her head she started to walk in the direction of the sign that read “B&B Royal apartment complex”…

Scarlet Lee-Ann Rose. Lived on a Ranch not far from Eden Town. Getting up well before dawn, got dressed and headed outside to her horses. Whistling softly, Scarlet watched as two of her horses ran up to her and she jumped over the gate. Putting her hand up, her black mare instantly pressing her nose to Scarlet's hand. "Alright, lets get to Eden Town." she said, glancing over at her stallion. "You'll have to stay here today Dash." she said, hooking the lead rope up to Storm's halter. Getting to the barn, Scarlet tied the mare up and saddled her up before getting on and riding towards Eden Town.
Once she was in Town, Scarlet slowed the black mare down no need to hurt the mare. Stopping the mare at the Apartment complex, Scarlet got off and told her to stay. Of course, the mare isn't a dog but Scarlet had trained her horse to listen to her commands. "Alright, lets get going." she said, before she practically ran into someone else and fell on her butt. |

This new town looked quaint, too quaint and Michelle couldn’t help but feel a little depressed at the thought. It was so much smaller than the place she had come from and no doubt they did everything differently as well. She would have to acclimatize to the people here as well as to the new way of living – alone. With a small sigh she kept going, hoping to find anyone awake within the bed and breakfast. For a short moment she felt a presence behind her and stopped to look when the sound of hooves caught her attention. A sliver of excitement floated down her spine. Michelle was exceptionally fond of horses but before she could focus on the magnificent beast someone walked right into her and she found herself tumbling to the ground over her massive bag and landing on her palms.
Embarrassment flooded her cheeks to a bright crimson as she scattered back to her feet and spun around to face the girl who had walked into her. She herself was still on the ground and for a moment Michelle fought a well of anger.
“Mind looking where you’re going?”
The beautiful mare who had been following her seemed a little lost and frightened and Michelle quickly stepped closer, gently caressing her velveteen nose,
“No worries, it’s alright I guess.”
Michelle said towards the girl on the floor and extended her hand to help her up,
“I’m Michelle, who are you?”

Scarlet closed her eyes for a very long time, controlling her temper. She was able to do this without a problem, not even when the girl she had run into had told her to watch where she was going. "I'm sorry." she said, but deep down something was telling Scarlet. She really wasn't sorry. Looking up, she saw her mare rear up before the other girl tried to calm her. Getting up and not realizing that the girl had extended her hand out, Scarlet whistled and the mare trotted over to her. Slowly, she rubbed the mares neck. "Scarlet and this is Black Storm, or Storm for short. It's nice to meet you Michelle." she said, extended her hand out to be shaken.
"I really am sorry about running into you. I've been really distracted lately." she said, feeling a nudge on her shoulder. Smiling slightly, Scarlet put her hand on the mares nose. "Are you new in town?" |

August decided to take a midnight stroll, after a fight with her roommate she just wanted to clear her head for a while. The moon's rays were beaming down and with her wolf eyes she saw everything clearly. She was wandering the streets of Eden Town as a bus came racing by, she saw that there wasn't anybody on so she figured it just dropped of it's passengers. The gush of wind it made was very chilly and August scolded herself for not taking a jacket. She passed the Royal Apartment Complex, all of the lights out not one burning, she knew all was fast asleep in their beds. Snuggled up in their warm beds. She would have been in her bed if she hadn't had the fight.
Her ears pricked as she heard a loud thump and some angry words shouted from someone's voice she didn't recognized. She made her way to the corner from where the squabble was taking place, slowly peeking around the corner she saw a girl she recognized from one of the pictures Eclipse has shown her once, it's Red, the... WEREWOLF hunter. The thought of the girl killing werewolves for fun made her sick to the stomach. She froze in place not knowing what to do. She also saw a girl with Auburn hair, with a big load next to her. She figured she was new to this place. She also saw, that the girl was the one angry at Red.

Michelle gazed at this girl as she said sorry but she merely breathed deeply and wrote off her clumsiness to the dark. Indeed it was really hard to see. She smiled, trying to calm the both of them. She whistled and her horse came trotting to her and Michelle marveled at the mare’s obedience. Michelle picked her bag up and turned to the girl, after offering her hand. She hadn’t taken it and Michelle merely glanced at her and finally she said her name,
"Scarlet and this is Black Storm, or Storm for short. It's nice to meet you Michelle."
She extended her hand and Michelle took it with a friendly smile. No doubt this girl was somewhat important around here. She continued,
"I really am sorry about running into you. I've been really distracted lately. Are you new in town?"
Michelle stepped back and fiddled somewhat with her fingers at her shyness bubbled over her tiredness,
“Yes, I just got here after traveling by bus all night and by airplane for the better part of two days. I guess I have to apologize for being so snappy as well.”
Michelle turned back to the mare and spoke to Scarlet,
“She’s very beautiful. I miss riding quite a lot.”
She smiled at her and continued,
“So why are you out and about to early?”

"It's fine. I would be snappy to." she said, giving her a friendly smile. Scarlet watched the girls eyes trail to her mare and she smiled slightly. Turning to her mare, Scarlet rubbed her neck and got another playful nudge. "Thank you. I live out on my family's ranch just outside of Eden Town." she said, "I would've brought Dash if I had known I was going to literally run into someone." she added, laughing at herself.
Then Scarlet got the feeling. Something wasn't right. It felt like they were being watched by not just anyone. A werewolf. Smiling slightly, Scarlet turned her attention back Michelle. "I'm always out and about around this time of day..or not. FInd some interesting things sometimes." |

August knew, the girl knew she was there, Eclipse told her about her sensing abilities and she should stay away if should encounter this girl, but August was to curious to know what was about to happen so she just stood there and listened carefully to this, really not wanting to be spotted.
Ok just a few more seconds then i'm going to leave, don't want to cause any trouble.

Michelle nodded as Scarlet spoke about being snappy too and tucked a stray strand of auburn behind her ear. Scarlet didn’t seem too bad but still Michelle felt all awkward in this situation. It was quite obvious that she wasn’t all that good with strangers and right now she only wanted to get to the bed and breakfast so she could be alone and sleep. Scarlet spoke again, referring to the compliment Michelle had given concerning the horse. She laughed heartily at herself after speaking and Michelle replied,
“You are really lucky to be living on a ranch! Tell me about Dash?”
Michelle noticed how distracted she was and suspicion flooded her,
“Is everything alright?”

Scarlet smiled. Oh how she enjoyed to talk about Dash, and many of the other horses that she had with her on the ranch. "Dash is my stud. I got him just around the time I got Storm, so those two have been together pretty much their whole lives. He is a palomino, gorgeous and a complete sweetheart. I can take you out there sometime if you would like too. I have more horses but those two are my price possessions."
Scarlet felt the mares tail hit her arm, and she rubbed the mares neck gently. Looking around slightly, Scarlet put her attention back to Michelle. "Yes, everything is fine. Do you want to go and get find your room?" she asked, wanting to get the girl far from the feeling that a werewolf was around. No need to get a stranger into werewolf trouble. |

August knew that was her cue, when she saw the horse's tail began lashing, she moved back around the corner and went to the other side of the street, and climbed up on the opposite building's roof, hiding there she looked down on the girls and the horse.

Scarlet smiled as Michelle asked about Dash and Michelle couldn’t help but smile as well as she spoke of that beautiful horse. The part that caught her full attention though was the part where she mentioned that Michelle could go with her to the ranch some time,
“I would just absolutely love it, Scarlet.”
The dull ache of losing her own horses started to throb softly in her chest and Michelle was grateful when Scarlet changed the subject, but not before some strange reactions from the horse. Scarlet said that everything was fine but Michelle found it hard to believe. She crouched and picked up her bag,
“Well I was going to stay at the Royal Apartment Complex, but do you know of any other place. That place sounds quite pricy.”
She started to walk and Scarlet came alongside her as they walked together…

Scarlet smiled at Michelle. It was be interesting and different to have someone else at the ranch instead of being alone. Lifting the reins over the mares head, Scarlet slowly started to walk with Michelle, listening to her talk about how pricy the Royal Apartment Complex was. Even though in her mind, Red was alert and ready for anything to happen. Anything to show up as she knew that there was in fact, a werewolf very close by.
Looking over to Michelle, Scarlet smiled slightly. "If you don't mind riding for a bit longer, I do have an extra room at my ranch. That's only if you don't mind riding again. I won't charge you anything." she said, giving the horse a pat as the mare nudge at Scarlet then Michelle as if wanting the human to come back with Scarlet. |

August heard the Auburn girl's name, Michelle... August deciced she cannot let the Hunter take Michelle and teach her about wolves being bad, and turning her against everyone, especially she being new here.
August jumped from the rooftop, making a perfect landing on the stones of the road, she stood up and swept her brown curles out of her face.

Scarlet threw the reigns over the beautiful mares head and came to walk beside her. She could pick up a faint trace of anxiousness in the girl who had been so friendly to her even though they had had a rough start. Michelle, in turn, couldn’t help but feel nervous. Was it even safe to walk the streets at night with a perfect stranger? Scarlet gazed at Michelle and offered her a place at the ranch if Michelle didn’t mind walking. Michelle’s face started to light up and a slight hint of excitement was in her voice as she spoke,
“You would allow that? I would love to come stay at your ranch!”
Even Black Storm nudged Michelle as if having already decided that she was now to come home with Scarlet. Michelle chuckled, quite a magical sound when suddenly a thud resounded right in front of her. With a gasp she staggered backwards and her eyes fell upon a beautiful woman who had just LANDED in front of her. Amazement floated in her eyes. From where had she come? Her words were swift and precise as she almost demanded to know here we were going. I looked over at Scarlet, hoping for some clarification…
