Michelle smiled a cocky smiled when Xavier jumped up, not having heard her and she couldn't help but giggle at him. He drew his fingers through his messy hair and Michelle crossed her arms across her chest. A small smile touched his lips and he asked her how she was feeling. Her smile became a little defiant and she said,
"I've never been better thank you."
He moved towards the kitchen and invited Michelle to join him and that's when her smile faded. There was a good six steps towards the next wall she could brace herself against. He walked by her, softly brushing her arm and butterflies fluttered all over her skin. She tried not to think about it and gathered her courage for the brave six steps she now needed to take. Breathing in deeply she placed her better foot forward and shifted all her weight on it then slowly the broken ankle. Her heart was beating in her ears and the moment she put a little too much weight on her foot it gave in and she fell down. Pain burned through her like a hot poker but she stubbornly held a scream back. She squirmed onto her knees, attempting to stand back up...

Something made him stopped. Made him stay where he was. He was glad she was better, and the cocky smile proved it but then he turned around and saw her trying to stand back up. Instantly, Xavier went over to her and helped her up, letting Michelle lean against him. "Stubborn aren't we? You shouldn't hide pain when you know you need the help." he said, putting an arm around her waist to support her and then he put her arm around his shoulders and made his way towards the kitchen with her. The feelings that were going about him, was difficult to control but he managed it. Slowly, he helped her sit down at the bar and moved towards the frigerator.
"What would you like to drink?" he asked, not looking at her while he worked on his cocktail. He didn't want her to see the emotions he was feeling just by touching her, and he for damn sure wasn't going to let Michelle see him all shaken up just because.

It didn't take long and soon Xavier was by Michelle's side, helping her up and she kind of growled at him,
"I'm fine..."
Her voice wasn't cocky, instead it was soft and weak. Michelle didn't mean to be nasty to him at all and she had a feeling he would understand. She swallowed her pride for now and leaned against him, avoiding eye contact. He then pointedly told her she was stubborn and that she shouldn't hide pain if she needed help. She smiled down at the ground, knowing he wouldn't see it. He was so close to her and his one arm went around her waist, pointedly igniting yet another wave of butterflies and she then looked up at him and stuck her tongue out at him, laughing and then putting her arm around his neck. He felt so warm and so close to her and she desperately held her blush at bay. He put her down on one of the bar stools and she said,
"Okay fine I'll admit it, but only this once. Thanks for the help, I think my ankle isn't fully healed yet."
Strangely he seemed to avoid her gaze and then asked what she would like to drink,
"Um... well what are you mixing?"

Xavier held back a cocky smile when she finally admit it. He knew that he ankle wasn't fully healed, "No problem." he said, pulling out a bottle of coke from the refrigerator. Pouring it into his cocktail before turning back to Michelle. She had asked what he was mixing, and since he hadn't taken a drink out of his, he just handed it to her and started to make another one for himself. "It's a cocktail, with a mixture of coke of course. I won't drink straight vodka, it messes with my coordination if I drink to much." he stated, finishing his drink and leaning on the counter.

Michelle could almost imagine how cocky Xavier must have been now and she smiled at herself. He took out a bottle of coke from the fridge and added it to his cocktail and then handed it to Michelle when she asked what he was making. She took it and twirled it around in her hand. She could smell a definite hint of vodka and smiled. He started to make another for himself and then told her it was a cocktail with vodka and that he couldn't drink straight vodka because it affected his coordination. Michelle had to giggle at this and then asked,
"Isn't that what it's supposed to do?"
She only smiled then held up her glass and took a sip or two. She liked how it tasted and then looked back to Xavier,
"I like it. What do you call it?"

Xavier shrugged at her, "Only to the ones that don't want to get something done the first time. And not the second." he said, giving her a very small smile. Most hunters he knew, like Red, could drink and not be affected by the liquor. Therefore, she could drink and drink until she got tired of it. And Red, hardly got tired of anything. Slowly, Xavier took a sip of his own drink, enjoying the taste of he mixture going down his throat. Eventually, he finished his cocktail and put the cup into the sink and turned back towards Michelle. He was still wondering what was going on with him. Usually, he would have kicked her out by the time she was healed, but he didn't. Actually, he didn't want to do that to her.
Blinking, Xavier shrugged, "It doesn't have a name. Never thought about giving it one to begin with."
