Learning The Truth(Blayde)

[Azuki Navaaha]

Black paws hitting the ground as an arrow passed right by her shoulder. This was the 100th time that she was being chased after a hunter, well not the 100th time, but pretty darn close to it. It was like they all knew who she was and what she was. What her coat color was and everything. It was strangely disturbing to her. Another arrow schemed her shoulder and she turned sharply. Azuki saw the hunter come after her and she started to panic. Out of instinct, Azuki attacked him, biting his leg and pulling him down until she was dragging him by the leg. His scream echoed in her ears and she let go and started to run again.

She didn't realize that she had tripped over a wire until after the net dropped. Yelping, Azuki laid on her side, trying to escape before another or the same hunter came to find her. Azuki froze however when she heard another noise coming her way. Who was it? A hunter...or another wolf?

[Eri]

Blayde had been resting in a tree, waiting for one of his traps to trigger. There were various wires, and each wound its way back to the tree branch he was resting on. He sat up though as he heard a man scream through the forest. He leaned backwards, hanging upside down in the tree before flipping to the ground. He had to be careful of his own traps, and was about to go towards the scream when one of his wires thrummed violently.

He paused, debating on which way to go. He had a feeling the culprit of the scream was in his trap, since it was only a short distance from where he figured the scream came from.

Deciding to check the net first, before whatever it was inside it got away. He loaded his gun, filling it with regular bullets for now as he made it through the trees. It didn't take him long to come up to the black werewolf within the net. "Well, I didn't think that would work so fast."

[Azuki Navaaha]

Azuki froze when she saw who it was. Blayde. Her heart started to race and she started to move around in the net. She needed to escape, and quickly, otherwise she had a feeling Blayde would kill her. Barking, she hoped someone would hear her, if not she would be screwed. How can I tell him? He only knows me as Azuki, the human not as a wolf. she thought, looking back to Blayde. What was she going to do?

Azuki knew that she wouldn't be able to shift back to human form right in front of him. He'd kill her instantly, but at the moment, she honestly had no choice. Whimpering, Azuki looked up at Blayde with her ice blue eyes, hoping he wouldn't do anything to her. She would hope that he would understand or at least notice something familiar.

Blayde moved closer to the werewolf, shaking his head when she whimpered. "Were you the one that just caused that scream?" he questioned, motioning towards where the sound was. He was pointing with his gun, making sure she saw the weapon as he moved towards the nets. He reached forward, messing with the ends to make sure they were tight so that she couldn't escape easily.

Now that he knew he had a werewolf in his net, he reached into his pockets, pulling out the incendiary ammo he had used on the large werewolf only a few weeks ago. "You should know biting a hunter isn't the greatest idea." He didn't seem to care whether she made a response or not back. He was taking his time, movements smooth and calm.

As if he was prolonging the inevitable, wanting to hear the werewolf beg.

[Azuki Navaaha]

Azuki saw him shake his head, and asked her a question. She nodded slightly. Oh, she saw the gun and instantly felt fear run through her body. She needed to tell him that it was her and she didn't mean any harm but the fear was gripping her. Sighing, Azuki knew that sooner or later he would find out about her bloodline. She knew that something would happen, either she would be killed or, well, there really wasn't a second choice. But she needed him to know that she wouldn't hurt him.

Azuki closed her eyes when she saw the bullets he was pulling out. It was the same bullets he used on the werewolf that had attacked them when they first met, and now he was planning to use them on her. Sighing, Azuki finally shifted back to her human form and opened her eyes. It was time that he knew of her bloodline and what she was. "...Blayde..." she whispered. She didn't want to see his reaction but knew that she would anyways.

[Eri]

He heard the werewolf sigh, and thought it was a sigh of resignation. It wouldn't be the first time that happened, but hearing his name was. He had been looking down at his gun as he loaded it, and his head snapped up at the sound of his name.

The gun landed with a thud on the ground, his tired eyes alert and wide as he stared at his friend in the net. "Azuki...?" he questioned, confusion in his voice as he took a step forward. He cursed though now, bending down to pick up his gun. "You're a...well...fuck." he threw up his hands in exasperation.

Azuki heard the confusion in his voice and saw him a step towards her. his gun had dropped but then he had picked it up again. She looked away from him and closed her eyes. Now he knew. "You have to understand, I wanted to tell you. I really did Blayde, but then you said you were a hunter and I... I just couldn't tell you in fear that you would hunt me down and kill me." she said, looking at him with pleading eyes. She wanted him to understand so much.

Azuki moved, or tried to move again, but pain shot from her side. Her scar was hurting her again, she looked down and saw that there was blood in the same spot that her scar was at. Damn it.. she thought, as her eyes went back up to Blayde's. "What are you going to do to me, now that you know what I am.." she asked, her voice cracking as all the feelings for him surfaced.

[Eri]

Blayde was silent for a moment before he shoved his gun back into his jacket. He grumbled something inaudible as he reached forward towards the net. A pair of clippers appeared in his hands, and he gave the wires holding the net in place a quick snap. The wires were stronger than ropes and couldn't be chewed easily, which was why he had used them.

"I'm a protector, Azuki. Not a hunter, remember?"

He ran a hand through his spiky hair, sighing before ripping the net from over top of her. His frustration was let out through this act, and he huffed and seemed to pout as he folded the net into small squares.

He glanced over at her, stuffing the net into his pack before placing his hands on his hips. "Well...?" he asked, motioning towards where the scream was from. "Did you pierce his skin? I swear with all the screaming he did you might as well have ripped his arm off."

[Azuki Navaaha]

Azuki watched him come over to her and remove the net from her. She instantly stood up and moved far away from him. She was frighten that he would do something to her. She knew that he was a protector but to her, to her wolf side, he was a hunter. She looked at him with fear in her eyes, as she nodded her head. "Yes, I do remember..." she whispered, just enough for him to hear her.

She saw his frustration and saw him motion back towards the hunter she had hurt. "I bit him. I had no choice, he would've killed me if I hadn't." she said, moving towards him slightly. She wanted him to understand why she did it. "I wouldn't have hurt him. I swear, but fear took over me... Just like it is right now.."

[Eri]

Blayde sighed, giving a shake of his head. "I don't know if he's going to survive the change." he mumbled, glancing back at the scream. He was beyond Blayde's help now, and the hunter would most likely either take his own life or try to figure out a new life.

He looked back at Azuki, seeing the fear in her eyes. "Jeez, will you calm down?" he held up his hands, showing that they had nothing in them. He did not want to get bitten though, and took an obvious step back away from her out of caution.

His expressions were changing, the confusion coming across his features again. His eyes looked even more gaunt than they had earlier, meaning he'd had many sleepless nights. His sleep deprived mind was having trouble grasping what he should do, but he seemed to be trying to think logically. "Just...fuck...Azuki, what the hell?"

Azuki knew that the hunter would take his life. He wouldn't be the first time that she had bitten a hunter and he shot himself within an hour because their hatred for the werewolves took over them and eventually they killed themselves. "I know he won't... He isn't the first one to be bitten by me.." she said, looking away from him. She was feeling so horrible and hated the fact that she had done this to him.

She looked back up at him when he told her to calm down. She looked at his hands and saw that he moved away from her. The hurt showing in her eyes as she stopped in her tracks. "Please understand, I won't hurt you Blayde. My feelings for you..won't allow me.." she said. Azuki stayed where she was as she saw his expressions change. All she saw was confusion and the tiredness of sleepless nights.

Azuki looked away from him, her eyes filling with tears that she was trying to hide. How could she let her wolf side ruin something like this? "I don't know Blayde..I didn't mean for you to find out.."

[Eri]

His shoulders slumped, and he slung the pack back over his shoulder. He didn't like to think about what he would do if he was ever bitten, but hearing about it and knowing what might happen left an unsettling feeling in his gut. He didn't think he could end his own life though. With all the crap happening to him so far, many probably thought it strange he hadn't tried already.

"If you can understand that you can't hurt me, then I hope you can grasp that I'm not going to hurt you." he bit his lip though, realizing he might already have with his net.

He frowned though now, noticing the blood on her side. "You're bleeding, let me look at it." he mumbled, moving close to her now. He moved slowly, not sure if she was still frightened or not. When he had released her, she had moved far away. She had said she was still fearful like when she had bit the other hunter, and the last thing he wanted was to frighten her even more. He had a small first aid kit in his pack, but he wanted to see what was wrong first.

"You wouldn't have been able to hide it forever, ya know."

[Azuki Navaaha]

Azuki looked up at him through her hair. She saw him bit his lip, and her hand went to her side again. She still felt the blood that was soaking her shirt. When he moved closer to her, she wanted to move away but stayed where she was. Azuki still trusted him, even if she was frighten that he would hurt her again. She looked down at her side, "This wasn't your fault. The hunter's arrow nicked me on the side.." she said, lifting up her shirt just enough so that he was able to see the wonder..and her scar.

She sighed at him, "I know, I just wish I could've told you at a better time, instead you finding me like this.." Azuki looked down and away from him. She winced slightly at the wound and started to feel dizzy. The lost of blood was making her feel dizzy, a little to dizzy.

Blayde reached a steady arm to support her as he kneeled down to get a better look at the wound. His fingers ghosted the scar, but he could piece together that this probably wasn't the first hunter she'd run from.

He reached into his pack, pulling out the kit and grabbing the cleaning clothe. "This has antiseptic on it, so it's going to sting. I want to see if you need stitches." he warned as he places the clothe on the wound. He cleaned the area carefully, and was relieve to see that the arrow truly had only knicked her. Pulling out an arrow head could be disastrous, as many were designed to do as much damage coming out as going in.

He finished cleaning it, and applied pressure to the cut to stop the bleeding. "I think telling me before I put a bullet through your head is a good time." he muttered, giving a shake of his spiky head.

Azuki felt his fingers go over her scar and she shivered slightly. It wasn't the first hunter, of course, but she hadn't wanted to show him any part of her body, especially when it came to him seeing her scar. When he pulled out a cleaning clothe and when he said that it was going to sting, she wasn't sure how badly would sting until after he put it to her skin. Instantly, she growled slightly, but then bit her lip to try and hold another growl from escaping.

Azuki looked at him and closed her eyes, "I know. I just got scared and wasn't sure how you would react, which apparently you took it really well." she said, smiling slight. But her smile didn't reach her ears like it did when they first met. Then a question crossed her mind. Would this change anything? She didn't even know if he cared for her like she cared for him, but by now... She honestly thought he wouldn't.
