"I'm not like other hunters. I don't hunt for werewolves willy nilly." Well, these traps probably wasn't his best bet for making his point, but he was looking for specific werewolves. He didn't think he could sleep well killing innocents. If a werewolf hadn't done something bad, he didn't kill. He had pulled out his gun because she'd bitten a human. Well, that explanation was for another time. "I'm not sure dropping a loaded gun is taking it well, but I think we can both agree this wasn't in our agenda."

Azuki listened to him, and she believed him but the fact that she had been caught in one of his traps wasn't helping her stomach settle. When he pulled out his gun, she was in wolf form and had just attacked a human out of pure fear. And now, she was standing here with Blayde helping her with an injury. "At least I know that one hunter won't hurt me, but this more than likely changes everything between us." she said, "Friendship wise. I mean, you probably don't even like me like that, plus I am a werewolf so..umm..yea.." she paused, until she grew silent.
Azuki looked down at her hands that were still holding her shirt. She was still confused about everything, from her feelings for Blayde to everything else. Azuki stayed silent even after he had spoken to her, she was to afraid that she would crack if she said anything to him.

"I have a reason for hunting werewolves. I hunt the ones that abuse their powers for their own personal gain. Like that giant meathead that was harassing you. He was a wanted criminal, but probably wasn't a werewolf you would want around your territory." He felt that was a good example of his work.
He examined the cut now that it was no longer bleeding. He paused though when she grew silent, and peered up at her through the few bits of hair. He reached up, flicking at her nose teasingly. "I forget girl werewolves are just as emotional as regular girls." he said, turning back to his kit. He had a few medical staples, that would pinch her skin together without the need of stitches. "You're a nice girl, Azuki. Shy, stubborn, but nice. I'd be stupid to suddenly hate you despite being a werewolf. It's not like you're the one who ruined my life."

Azuki listened to him. He had yet, another point about something. She knew that Eclipse wouldn't want that meathead around his territory especially knowing that he would've gone after one of his pack members. "That is true. And I'm still thankful for that too." she said, smiling at him slightly. Now that Azuki understood what he did, she wasn't entirely frighten of him. He hadn't hurt her, hadn't tried to hunt her down, even if she did get caught in his net and almost got shot at him. Once he found it was her...he didn't shoot.
When he flicked her nose, she wrinkled it and looked at him. She went to protest but then she saw the medical staples and her mouth shut instantly. Azuki moved back from him, she was deathly afraid of just about anything that had to do with medical business. Her whole life she was able to heal without the help of a doctor, so why should this one be any different. Azuki's eyes went up to his and she smiled slightly, "I'm happy you don't hate me, Blayde." she said, but was unsure of what to say about ruining his life. Slowly, she moved over to him and put a hand on his shoulder, "I'm sorry that one of us ruined your life. I know some werewolves, can't control what they do."

He frowned when she slipped from his grasp, and sighed before putting the staples away. He'd seen enough people scared of needles to know the reason for her dodge. It didn't surprise him to see her scarred if she was so afraid of a few staples.
Blayde hadn't realized what he said, and was quick to brush it off along with her comforting hand as he stood again. He shouldered his pack, making sure the kit was in its place. "Like I said, it's not your fault. You don't have to apologize for it." he stated with a quip, making it clear he did not want to go into detail. It was a rough side that he hadn't shown to Azuki, but he softened upon realization. "No, I don't hate you. I'm just glad you slipped into one of my traps and not someone else's."

Azuki's hand slipped away from him and watched him stand up, as she moved back slightly. She wanted to give him enough room, give him room and so that she wasn't in his personal space. She heard him speak and slowly, she nodded before moving back. In her mind, she was trying to figure out how she was going to explain to Eclipse that she was being chased after another hunter, and then how one had helped her. He would freak!
Azuki blinked and looked over at him. She only heard parts of what he had said, but had a good feeling she knew what it was. "Really? Why are you glad that I was in your trap and not someone else's?'' she asked, giving him a little smile.

He stared at her for a moment, not sure if she was joking or if she really didn't understand. His head tilted, and he rubbed at his tired eyes. "I would have been worried if you didn't pick up my phone calls." he stated, eyes opening again to stare into hers. His eyes were silver and contrasted with the dark circles underneath them, which made his gaze intense at times.
He was trying to figure her out, but he wasn't sure she was completely aware of herself either. He nearly wanted to force her into understanding, but he had already scared her enough today. He turned slightly, returning her smile with his smirk. "I suggest you follow me closely so you don't trigger another one of my traps."

Azuki blinked, and then gave him a soft smile. She noticed how his eyes were contrasted by the dark circles underneath them and she started to get worried. Azuki knew that he didn't get much sleep, which worried her still. "I would've been fine. I would've answered sooner or later.." she said, giving him a reassuring smile. If anything, she would want him to get more sleep, but Azuki didn't want to do anything that would cause him to try and shoot her.
When she saw his smirk, she chuckled slightly. He was the same Blayde she met only a few days ago, so why should she worry that he was going to change anytime soon. Azuki nodded at him, and moved closer to him. "At least now, I don't have worry about trying to lie to you.." she said, looking away from him.

He shook his head slightly. If she had been caught in a different hunter's net, she might not be alive to answer his calls. He knew he'd either have gotten worried or simply figure she didn't want to see him again. The latter wouldn't have been the first time that happened.
He reached a hand out, grasping hers gently as he moved and carefully navigated through the trees. He'd been fairly thorough in his trap setting, but placed things in a certain pattern so as he wouldn't snare himself. "I would enjoy not being lied to, though I can understand your reasoning. I don't think I would have been so nice right up front had I known you were a werewolf." Which was honest. He didn't know if he would try to hunt her, but he didn't hunt without a reason.

Azuki felt him grasp her hand but it was soft and gently, not rough like she was expecting. She followed him with ease, now since she was able to be herself around him, Azuki let her instincts of being silent kick in. Following him, was easy but her mind kept thinking. What would happen once they were out of his traps? Shaking her head, Azuki told herself not to think about. To not think that he would do something after she was away and safe.
She looked up at him, but then put her eyes back on the ground. "Blayde, I honestly didn't want to lie to you. And I wouldn't have, I would've let you known that I was when the werewolf came after me, but I froze." she said, her voice growing soft. She felt horrible for lying to him, it was the one thing that she didn't want to do someone she cared. Especially to Blayde.

Blayde went to the tree that he had been resting in earlier, reaching up to one of the branches. The cutters he had used earlier appeared in his hand again, and he quickly cut through a few hidden wires. He would leave the nets in place, but this way he didn't have to worry about any of them triggering. He turned back to Azuki, now no longer needing to lead her around the traps.
"You know, I didn't ask you straight out if you were a werewolf." he stated, rubbing at his eyes before yawning. He stretched, loosening his muscles before shoving his hands into the pockets of his jacket. He was wearing camo jeans and a black jacket. His plain white shirt poked out from under the jacket near his neck, where a simple rope necklace with a coin hung. "So in a way, you haven't really lied."

Azuki put her hand down, once he had gone to a tree. She put her hands into her pockets as she watched him. Yes, he didn't ask her right away if she was a werewolf or not, but she would've if he had. Running her fingers through her black curly hair, Azuki sighed. "I understand that." she stated. She watched him for a moment before closing her eyes. Her black shirt clinging to her side, the side that she had been bleeding on.
Her shirt was darker in the spot that she had been bleeding at. Pain was still shooting up her side, but at the moment she was ignoring it. No use in having him worrying about it. "I guess that's true." she said, sitting down and her hand going to her side.

He paused, brows furrowing. He couldn't attack Azuki, not just because she hadn't been hurting innocents, but because he knew he simply couldn't. He didn't think he could pull the trigger, even if she suddenly turned to attack him. So having her constantly apologizing was only causing him to become agitated. He was close to snapping at her, but held his tongue with the little self restraint he had.
"Look, it's water under the bridge now. I was just surprised and confused earlier, but I know what's going on now so just...don't fret about it, okay?" he knelt when she went to the ground, eyes going to her injured side. She wouldn't let him staple it, but he wanted to keep the pressure on it so it wouldn't start bleeding again.
"Lift your shirt slightly." he said, going back into his bag. He pulled out a long piece of rolled up cloth, and held it up. "I'm not really a doctor, but you need to get it wrapped up and protected from infection."

Azuki gave him a small smile and nodded at him. "Alright. I won't fret about it anymore." she said, another shot of pain going up her side. She didn't want him to worry and she saw the way she had looked at her side. Great. Azuki looked at him as he pulled out a long piece of cloth. Sighing, it seemed that she had no choice but to listen to him. Azuki rolled up her shirt slightly, revealing the wound as the small trickle of blood escaping it. "It'll be healed within a day or two. No need to worry, Blayde."

"Fast healing or not, you can't really walk around town with a bloody shirt, can you?" he moved towards her, wrapping her torso snuggly with the bandage. It was tight enough to stop the bleeding, but not so tight that it would be uncomfortable. His callused hands were gently, being careful not to push on the wound as he did his work.
When he was done, he removed his jacket and draped it over her shoulders, fully hiding the blood spot from the view of any curious eyes. "Tada! Good as new." he teased, reaching forward to cup her cheeks into his hands. His thumbs pushed up, forcing her face to smile in a funny manner.
