A young woman came out of a room with a yellow and white stripped maxi dress on, D&G sunglasses on her head with her long black hair in a ponytail. Closing the door she sighed turning around and leaned against it for a moment. What on earth was she going to do with little sister? Shaking her head slightly she pushed the thought away quickly before she got to mad. Breathing in she headed downstairs and to the restaurant and ordered a small meal sitting at one of the tables in the shade. Brushing a few strands of her hair away from her face she sighed and flipped through a magazine circling outfits she liked.
Her meal arrived and she ate it soundly before leaning back and reading the magazine some more. Then a scent drifted to her nose and she slightly glanced up looking around then shrugged going back to her reading putting in an ear-bud to listen to her music. Maybe 30 minutes passed before her little sister came down begging to go see her friend, Azuki at the National Park. Frowning she then sighed seeing her face expression and nodded to saying "Be back before dark though" She watched her take off happily and shook her head saying "Pups" quietly returning to her magazine and music.

Chris Mathews
Chris wasn't much in the mood for company today but he sure as hell wanted to go get something to drink and so he headed to Hanul lui Manuc. From what he'd heard the place was not too bad. He was dressed in a dark jean, his favorite riding boots and a white shirt. He had his leather jacket in his hand but it wasn't cold enough to wear it. He was in a good mood today, a better mood than he usual was in nowadays and when he entered the Hanul he looked around with a friendly expression on his face. His hair was a little messy but just to the right degree to make it appealing. He noticed someone sitting in the corner booth, a girl he met a few nights ago and headed over.
He stopped next to her and smiled down at her,
"Hi..."
A short awkward moment passed between them and he spoke again,
"Mind if I join you?" |

Her eyes searched the magazine as she listened to her music. She slightly tapped her foot from side to side going to the beat then she sat back in her chair crossing her legs and then notice somebody beside her. She glanced up taking the ear-bud she had in out saw that it was Chris, one of the male's that had saved her life. She heard him say hi with a smile on his face. She smiled back saying "Hey there. Come to check on me?" she said jokingly then heard him ask if he could join her.
Waving him to a chair she replied "Not at all" and then she saw a waiter come by and she said "Excuse me...can I get a glass of lemonade please?....Chris you want anything?" She looked over at him and said "My treat..."

Chris smiled down at her when she took a while to reply and he tuned his own ears into her music and quite liked what he was hearing. She turned to him and took the ear bud out and he smiled, in quite a good mood. She smiled back and asked if he'd come to check on her and he chuckled,
"I doubt you need any checking up on..."
She then replied to him asking if he could join he and said that she didn't mind at all. He sat in the chair opposite her and made himself comfortable, hanging his jacket over the chair's back. A waiter came by and she ordered a glass of lemonade and she then asked if he wanted anything. He smiled and decided he would pay for it anyways and replied,
"A scotch please."
He wondered what she would think about him wanting to drink so early in the morning but shrugged the idea aside and said,
"I never got your name..."

She gave a small nod as he chuckled and said that he doubted that she needed to be checked up on. Leah watched him sit down in the opposite chair and then say he would have a scotch to drink. This early in the morning? It wasn't quite noon yet. She shrugged it off as nothing though. The waiter nodded and went off for the drinks and then she heard Chris say that he didn't get her name before.
Blinking she smirked saying "Not surprising. You rushed off so quickly. But my name's Aleah Lowell but I go by Leah or Le-le for short" She looked away from him as the waiter came back with their drinks. She thanked him and took a sip from the glass and then looked back at Chris saying "So what brings you to Manuc on this summer day?"

The woman was a little surprised to hear him asking for his name and then mentioned it wasn't really a surprise. He laughed a little along with her and then she said her name. Leah. Not too bad.the waiter brought their drinks and Chris took a sip, loving the feeling as it flowed down his throat. Leah asked what brought him here and he started to turn the glass in little circles,
"Let's just say I'm not that good with staying in one place. You?"

She heard him answer "Let's just say I'm not that good with staying in one place. You?" She shrugged saying "I and my little sister stay here. Though I've been thinking about getting us our own place over at the Residential. People starting to get a bit nosy..." She waved her hand casually through the air as she noticed two women two tables from them looking at her before looking away. "Like them for instance" she said annoyed rolling her eyes.

Chris listened as Aleah told their reasons for staying here and he thought it a little fishy that people would be nosy about them. Why would people be suspicious of them? Naturally this created uncertainty within him and Chris knew not to trust this one. Aleah then gestured to two woman sitting not too far from them and he looked over, but in a nonechelant way then asked,
"Why would people be nosy about you and your sister?"

She watched Chris look over to the women and then ask "Why would people be nosy about you and your sister?" Leah sighed saying "Because sometimes she can't keep her mouth shut and end blabbering out something." Her eyes went out to the open space as she said "Besides having our own backyard to keep her in would make know she can't get herself into trouble" She scoffed at her own words knowing Niyah would still find a way to get out.
