Moving the newly full glass across to the table to avoid knocking it over, finding himself having to concentrate harder than usual to keep from spilling anything as he did so, William shook his head slightly, still pouting. "I-it's...Dull- h-hardly chanced s-since I moved in..." He shook his head again, the room spinning just the smallest amount in his vision as he did so, realising that he'd spent what amounted to nearly a quarter of his life living inside four bland grey walls. That said, he mused, he was lucky that he hadn't managed to rip anything apart in his home yet, despite his condition. Despite never envisioning himself in Peri's thrown-togther, ripped up apartment, William had to admit that the place had a certain style; a personality that matched Peri's own. He hoped his own living space didn't say all it could about him... Realising that he was starting to brood, he quickly turned his attention back to Peri, feeling a warm rush of gratitude that she'd wanted to stay with him, and seemed relitivly unphased by the shock of the evening. "S-sorry"

"It's still better than my place... yours actually looks like a home. Mine's just like... so... bare. There's nothing there, except for a lot of empty alcohol bottles... It doesn't really feel like a home." Peri frowned slightly, momentarily distracted from the happy buzz caused by her drink. "It would be nice to maybe... one day... have a home that actually felt like one, y'know." She chuckled wearily, seeming somewhat uneasy talking about the subject, face shadowing slightly.
Trying to lighten her own mood, she brightened up somewhat as an idea seemed to flash across her features, looking from one wall to the next, before returning her attention to Will with a grin. "We should paint your apartment! Make it a bit... brighter." She took a large slug of her drink, eyes now glittering with a mixture of excitement and alcohol coursing through her system.

William paused, images of rainbow coloured walls and bright yellow furniture swirling into his mind like some technicoloured nightmare. That could turn out rather...hectic. "W-what...what colour?" He asked, leaning in cautiously, trying to indicate that although he wasn't ruling out this marvelous plan, he would also rather like to know the full scope of this idea before sploshing paint about. It probably wouldn't help much with two happily drunk werewolves holding the brushes, but then again- muttered his brain as his sploshed merrily in the alchohol- the place could do with some brightening up, and it was hardly as if they could make too much of a mess of the place. Right?

Humming to herself for a moment, Peri rose to her feet - a little unsteadily - and turned in full circle to look at the room, before coming to stand before Will with her hands on her hips and a determined smile on her face; despite looking rather dishevelled with messy, curlier than normal hair from drying naturally, and the robe beginning to slip down over one shoulder.
"Hmmm... Red is a nice colour. But... but why only one colour? Do you know how awesome this living room could look? I mean... we could have that wall... RAINBOW, or something... and... that one should have the moon on it. Cause... the moon is pretty awesome, isn't it? Aren't werewolves meant to like the moon, or something?"
Taking another brief moment to look around once more, her mind began to wander, off into a strange little daydream of what she imagined 'home' to look like. The only home she'd ever known was back with her mother and siblings, in America. It was quite the shabby little run down semi-detached house, with boring magnolia walls, and boring once-biscuit coloured carpet, with mess and clutter and stains, and yet... It was still home. It felt comforting.
"Or... I guess we could go for something a bit more... minimalistic... What colour do you like, Will?" She asked, seeming to have calmed considerably, looking at him with genuine curiosity.
