Kayla rushed through the brush quickly and looked up to the sky seeing her eagle companion, Marahute flying overhead. The eagle then swooped down gliding beside her and the girl stopped as she came out to the trail. She had paid attention to where she was going the last time she was on the trail and a young woman named Scarlet had saved her life from a puma. The child thought it'd be cool if Scarlet trained her to be a hunter since they both used bows. Following the trail for a while she then came to a fork and turned left knowing it led to Scarlet's ranch.
"Mara...go up ahead" she said waving her arm forward and the eagle took off into the air going ahead to make sure. Kayla finally made it to the ranch and easily spotted Scarl's two horses in the pastures. Going up against the fence she walked humming and the stallion immediately galloped up to her. "Hey there boy" she said softly and rubbed his cheek. He then nudged her bag and she smiled saying "You smell my apples don't you huh?" Kayla took an apple out and fed it to him then got another and looked at the mare saying "Got you one too girl" The mare's eyes brightened as she came up to get the apple.
Kay's eyes went up as she saw Marahute come to land on her shoulder. She brushed her friend's head and then looked back at the horses saying "Is Scarlet here you two?" before turning to walk up to the house and barn with the two following alongside the fence.

Scarlet had been in the barn when she heard a noise outside. Getting up, she put the saddle that she had been polishing back on the rack and walked outside. You see, Scarlet was expecting her friend Xavier to show up, he was wanting to take Dash out for a ride, but when she outside the barn it wasn't a male she was seeing. She saw a female and both horses were following her. Brushing off her hands, Scarlet made her way over to the female and realizing that it was the same girl that she had saved from the puma.
She walked over to the fence and whistled for her horses. Instantly, Dash and Storm came over to the gate she was at, and she unlocked it. Honestly, Scarlet didn't need a halter for them but at times, she did. Looking over to the girl, she nodded her head, "You're the girl that I saved from the puma. I see that you are not in another attack." she stated, walking over to the girl and the bird. She felt a nudge from Storm and rubbed her nuzzle. "What brings you here?"

Xavier had been meaning to see Scarlet for some time. He had gotten a bond with her stallion, Dash, and even though she wouldn't let him keep the horse, Xavier still took care of the stud when he could. Walking up to the Ranch, Xavier saw Scarlet out with her two horses behind her and a girl with a bird out by the barn. Instantly, Xavier went over to the two and gave a smile to Scarlet and a smile to Dash as the stud made his way over to him. "Hey Scarlet." he said, then nodded towards the other female. |

She saw the two horses rush back to the ranch and she saw Scarlet. She paused as she heard her say "You're the girl that I saved from the puma. I see that you are not in another attack." She smirked saying "Yea" Then Kayla saw her walk up and ask what brought her here. "Well I saw how much faster you were with your bow when you saved me so..." she trailed off as she saw another young man walk up and say hi to Scarlet and nod to her. She gave a curt nod back to him and then finished saying "so I was wondering if you could teach me to be better. I mean I'm good as far as killing game which my adopted mother showed me to do before we got separated that is.." her eyes went to the ground.
Kayla felt Mara nudge her cheek and she smirked rubbing the bird's cheek saying "Marahute helps me out sometimes too"

Scarlet saw Xavier walk up to Dash and say hi. Scarlet nodded back but looked over to the girl. She was asking Scarlet, the legendary werewolf hunter, to train her. Giving the girl and her animal a small smile. Looking over to Xavier, the boy that had she had trained herself and now, this girl was wanting to be trained by her. Feeling a nudge, Scarlet turned to her mare and gave her neck a rub. "That is good that you've been doing good on hunting game, but is that all that you are wanting to hunt, my dear?" she asked, watching as Xavier came over to her with Dash. "I can still teach you how to shoot anything. Game, the puma, even wolves."

Xavier brought over the stud to Scarlet and new girl. He heard the word wolves and looked over to Scarlet. He wasn't entirely paying attention but now he was. Being trained by Red herself was a privilege he wanted to keep and still he was being trained by her, it was one of the reason he was out at her ranch today, but now it seemed he might be having a "class-mate." |

She listened to Scarlet's compliment and smirked a little then it faded as she asked was that all she wanted to hunt. Honestly she wasn't sure. "I can still teach you how to shoot anything. Game, the puma, even wolves." she heard her say and she slightly picked up her head saying "I guess anything I'm able to shoot." she gave a small smile at the end. Maybe it was her shyness going away but she did have the passion to hunt game or wolves. That was her favorite.
Deep down she wanted to get back at the female werewolf who had adopted her. Though it wasn't her fault she still didn't like werewolves because the man who was her adopted father killed her real mother.
(OOC: Sorry it's short. Lack of muse today for Kayla)

OOC: It's fine. IC: Scarlet gave the girl a smile and took a hold of the lead rope before attaching it to Storm's halter. Glancing over to Xavier, Scarlet gave him a nod and watched as he left with Dash right behind him, before she turned back towards the girl in front of her. "What is your name?" she asked, leading her mare to the barn and stables. Scarlet had a feeling that this girl would be a great hunter one day, once she set herself down to it. Tying up her horse, Scarlet then turned towards the girl. "Alright. I'll train you, but first why don't you help me brush down Storm." she said, pointing back at the mare. |

Kayla heard her ask what her name was and she said "My name's Kayla but my adopted mother called me Black Raven." She rubbed the back of her head saying "Though I'm not sure why she did" Kayla followed her back to the stables and stopped as she tied the mare up and say "Alright. I'll train you, but first why don't you help me brush down Storm." Kayla's eyes brightened as she gave a kind smile and clicked her tongue three times to Marahute and the eagle flew off her shoulder and back outside. "Have fun" she smiled to her companion and then sat her bag, bow, and arrows down looking back at Scarlet saying "Thanks and sure I'll help" she said walking over to the horse and her.

Scarlet watched as the mares black ear flicked back when Kayla clicked towards the bird to go back outside. The mare even stomped her foot before shaking her head, and Scarlet ran her hand along the horses neck. She was such a stubborn mare that sometimes Scarlet wondered how she got Storm to even listen to her. Handing over another brush to Kayla, Scarlet wondered on the name her adopted mother had called her Black Raven. Could it have been because of the bird she had as a companion? Or something else?
"Sometimes it's a good thing to have a different name. As a hunter, you want to have a different name than the one you just gave me. If everyone knew you as Kayla, by the time you go hunting. The werewolves wouldn't come out." she said as she brushed her mare. Scarlet had learned that the hard way and now, she was known as Red. Not Scarlet. |

She got the brush Scarlet handed over to her and started brushing down Storm's back and side and listened to Scarlet speak about her having a different name. She gave a soft smile saying "That's true" She rubbed her free hand along Storm saying "Storm'sa very pretty name"
(Ran out of muse for Kayla at the moment lol)

Scarlet gave Kayla a nod, "Her real name is Black Storm, but I call her Storm for short." she said, brushing the mares neck and side. Storm was a beautiful mare, and she had outgrown the expectations that Scarlet had set down for the young filly. When Scarlet first got Storm, she was just a filly, young, wild and full of spirit. Since Scarlet didn't want her to loose that spirit, and so when Scarlet started to work with the filly, Scarlet made sure that Storm kept that spirit.
