Out For A Stroll (Sonja/Open)

She sat silently listening as Maria spoke to Alex then her attention perked some when Maria asked if she had not smelled her wolf scent and then ask if she wanted her to take care of her. She let her head drop as if in thought. (Haylee) had been on her own with Cain for three years now. She was for more than capable of taking care of herself. But then again she did get lonely. A smile appeared on her face now and she said "That would be nice. I do get lonely with just Cain around. I've been by myself for long while"

A breeze swept through the forest around them and she breathed in her smile fading catching the scent of another wolf in the area. This one she knew all to well. Sonja listened silently as she heard him walking toward them then she heard “Hello sis.” Her head tilted a bit then she said "Kylann?" She felt Cain nudge her hand and she smiled saying "KY!" excitedly jumping to her feet. She smiled then slightly smacked his shoulder saying "Where have you been?...Its been three years" She frowned but still had a smirk on her face as she hugged him then said "And who's this little guy?" She reached out petting soft fur. By scent she knew it was a fox...probably a kit.

Sonja turned hearing Alex speak and said "Don't worry you can help me too if you want?" She liked Alex for an odd reason. Maybe it was because she thought she somewhat met him before. Then she heard him stand and say "You must be her brother, she told me about you getting Cain for her. I'm Alexander." A smile crossed her face and she stepped back beside Kylann and playfully wrapped her arm around his neck saying "Yep this is him alright. My only twin. Oh and Ky this is Maria"

[Whisper]

Kylann made a mental note to remain neutral in this particular situation. He had his eyes on the male who looked almost uninterested but also on the other female, who seemed friendly but Kylann was buying none of this. He stood close to Haylee, his body stance and overall body language betraying his protectiveness over her. Haylee was the first to react and first she said his name in an unsure voice. A wide smile spread upon his lips as she exclaimed his nickname. She jumped up and slapped his shoulder and he playfully ruffled her hair in return, giving a quick glare at the others around them before he hugged her.

As always Haylee was straight to the point and asked him where he'd been the last three years and he smirked and said,

"Missed you too sis! Oh you know the usual, taking care of business and such."

Kylann wasn't about to spill the truth in front of all these unfamiliar faces and so he remained skeptical of then and moved to his sisters side, softly holding her shoulders with his right arm and Tiny in his left. Haylee asked who the little guy was and Kylann chuckled,

"This is Tiny. Tiny meet Haylee, my twin sister."

The little fox reached up and sniffed Haylee's hand, licking her,

"Looks like he's taking a liking to you already. I don't blame him though, you are a very likable person."

The male then spoke about helping Haylee out and Kylann couldn't help but growl at him in a feral tone, holding Haylee back a little. Haylee told him he could help her too if he wanted and Kylann turned to face Haylee. She was an expert at judging character as well as determining if people were good or not. Indeed she seemed to be fine with both of these people. Kylann sighed and gave Haylee a bit of space, reluctantly deciding to trust these people. The guy she had just addressed stepped closer and extended his hand, announcing that he was Alexander. He mentioned Haylee telling him about Cain and he frowned. they were that personal already? He stuck out his hand and firmly gripped Alex's hand, giving him a good first impression but also smiling warmly,

"I am Haylee's twin brother yes, I'm Kylann."

Haylee also introduced the other female as Maria and Kylann tried his best to relax a bit. Haylee seemed alright with them so he should be too. He finally relaxed completely and pleasantly offered his hand to shake to Maria,

"Pleased to meet you Maria."

For a moment Kylann ignored the other guests and turned back to Haylee only, deciding they would be okay if he just quickly caught up with his sister,

"How have you been sis, truly? I trust the house I organized for you is fitting?"

OOC: guys please don't feel pressured to make your posts longer than you usually do. I really don't mind. it's just that I have sooo much muse for Kylann that I couldn't keep it short!!!

I smile at Haylee and place my hand comfortingly and protectively on her shoulder. You'll be safe and happy with me, my dear. Don't worry.

[/color] Just then a young man probably around my age comes up to Haylee. I stiffen, but then relax when she becomes excited and seems to know this male well. They look awfully alike. That's when he tells Alexander that he is her twin brother and I immediately loosen up completely and I smile warmly at him. I shake his hand with a firm and honorable grip, looking him dead in the eyes with respect. Hello, Kylann. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.[/color][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Alex smiled at Kylann. The male hunter could easily tell that he was protective over his twin sister, and honestly, Alex didn't mind whatsoever. It was something that Alex hadn't had the chance to experience such protectiveness since he had been the only child his parents had wanted. Honestly, he didn't mind but he yearn for the sibling rivalry that happened between the siblings that he had seen throughout his life. "It's an honor to meet you, Kylann."

Alexander went back to sitting when Haylee had made her way over to her twin brother. Alex watched her and a small but soft smile had formed on his lips as he watched the two interact. "You have a very special sister. She's beautiful both wolf and human." he stated, closing his eyes slightly. It was his turn to listen however, as he heard Maria go and meet the twin brother.

She felt Kylann ruffle her hair and she smiled shaking her head as he said that he missed her too and that he'd been taking care of business and she got ready to ask him what kind but stopped herself as he said that the fox's name was Tiny and she felt him lick her hand. She giggled and brushed her hand gently over the kit hearing Ky say "Looks like he's taking a liking to you already. I don't blame him though, you are a very likable person." Sonja chuckled and stepped back saying "Ha what's not to like about me?...." She looked turned back to Alex and Maria then glanced back saying to her brother "and don't answer that question, Ky"

Turning her attention back to Maria she listened as Kylann talked to Alex and say that it was nice to meet Maria as well. She smirked a little and then heard Ky say "How have you been sis, truly? I trust the house I organized for you is fitting?" Her ears would have perked if she had been in her wolf form but she turned her head back towards him saying "I've...umm...been okay...." She trailed her left fingers down the inner part of her right arm where a jagged scar was which actually started at her shoulder. "and what house?" she finished confused. She didn't know that her brother had arranged a house for them. Then her attention went back to Maria as she felt her hand on her shoulder and heard her say that she'd be safe and happy with her. A gentle smile crossed her face as she said "Thanks Maria. But just as a warning I am very difficult to understand at times....right Ky?" she looked over towards him because he knew all to well how difficult she could be. But the expression on her face was more of a asking him if Maria could live with them as well.

Her head turned again hearing Alex say "You have a very special sister. She's beautiful both wolf and human." Sonja smiled blushing as she bowed her head as if looking at the ground and said "Thanks Alex"
