She walked through the park with her companion, Cain through the early morning. It was still dark and cool with a bit of fog. The young woman paused as she heard the sounds of the forest ahead of them. Then she Cain's nose nudge her forward. She gave a small smile saying quietly "Okay boy" The cloak she wore she took off from around her shoulders and folded up wit the extra pair of clothes she brought. Going into the trees she shifted the clothes she had been wearing tearing. Cain came through nudging her again his mouth carrying her cloak and clothes. Her tail wagged and she slightly swung her head for him to lead her.
She felt him brush by her and run ahead of her but not to far ahead. Sonja rushed after him following his scent and then after a mile the two stopped. She smelled prey and it was deer. Her favorite. Cain nudged her toward the side and pushed her paw to a fallen tree and under it were her clothes. She wagged her tail then sniffed the air and the German Shepard nipped her ear back behind some bushes. He gave her a slight growl to stay put and she heard him slink away quietly. This was how they hunted. He would put her somewhere to ambush and he'd drive the prey to her to catch.
For a bit it was quiet then she heard hooves hitting the ground. Cain barked twice and she pricked her ears then he growled and barked several times. Sonja bared her teeth and leaped forward. They pierced the target's shoulder and they tumbled to the side. Then Cain came and attacked it's neck. It kicked a few desperate times then lay still. She let go smelling something else in the air.

No hunting. That was his plan for the day and still was his plan. Alexander Helsing just wanted to relax for once, let his mind wonder and try to figure out what it was like to just relax. Since he was constantly hunting and on guard in case someone tried to hurt him, or hunt him down like most werewolves would try to do. But no, today Alex was going to relax and Carol Park was the place to be, parking his car, Alex made his way to the park and into the woods. Something about the woods drew him in, and it was one of the reasons he had decided to become a werewolf hunter,
Hands in his pocket, Alex made his way to the middle of the woods. Once he was there, he sat down under a tree and listened to what the forest would give him. He heard birds, little noises of small feet hitting the ground because a mouse had been spooked. Wait...why would a mouse be spooked? Unless something was hunting it. Sighing, Alex stood up and made his way to a noise he had heard only a few seconds ago. He hoped it wasn't anything that he would have to kill, since he didn't have an of his weapons with him. Alex turned near a tree and found a dog...found two dogs. But one, he could tell was a werewolf. Though at the moment, he wasnt bothered by it. Kneeling down, Alex out her hands up, showing the two he didn't have anything to harm them with. |

Her ears pricked as she looked around for a moment before starting to eat with Cain. Cain stopped after a bit and kept watch while she ate the rest of her fill. Then she heard movement and she picked her head up after Cain started growling. Her pale eyes searched trying to pinpoint the movement as she sniffed the air. A human male and she somewhat knew the scent. Her ears flattened as she Cain pushed his body closer to hers blocking her from the human. The German Shepard barked once and Sonja started to back away slowly and then he stopped and turned to her nudging her cheek softly. Sonja breathed in deeply releasing a small whimper. She couldn't tell if the male was a hunter or not but she did know his scent a little bit. Cain still stood protectively in front of her though.

Alex saw the German Shepard move the other wolf away from him and instantly, he sat on the ground. "I won't hurt you two. I have no weapons with me to harm you with." he said, pulling out his empty pockets. He showed them his hands, showing that they were completely empty and had nothing to hurt them with. Slowly, he moved and put his hand out towards the German Shepard, letting him sniff his hand and smell his scent.
Alex's eyes went to the she-wolf, letting her sniff his other hand. It was something that he had learned a long time ago. |

"I won't hurt you two. I have no weapons with me to harm you with." she heard the man say and she pricked her ears. So he was a hunter. Though instinct was telling her to attack she couldn't. It'd be unfair since he had nothing to defend himself with. Sonja listened carefully as Cain made a low growl and then stop and then sit down and then nudge her cheek forward. Her ears flattened as she sniffed the man's hand carefully. Well he didn't seem harmful at the moment so she pushed her head into his hand. Who would've thought that she'd trust a hunter for the time being. A small whimper released from her jaws as she gently nipped his hand. Then her attention went back to Cain as he started to eat again.
Sonja relaxed a bit and went to her belly wagging her tail a few times then laid her head down taking her right paw and as if she was reaching out in her human form and felt her paw touch the boots he had on. Moving her head slowly she pushed her nose the bottom then snorted and nipped at it playfully. Cain made a slight cautious growl and she snorted at him before nipping his own tail and then nipped the man's boot again.

He watched them both. The German Shepard growling at him before sitting down and nudging the wolfs cheek. Strange. He had never seen a wolf and dog being so tame around each other. Was this wolf the dogs owner? Alex saw the wolf sniff his hand before brushing her head into his hand. Softly, he rubbed her head with his thumb and gave her a smile. Okay, not all werewolves were as bad as most people thought they were. And here was proof.
When she whimpered and gently nipped at his hand, Alex moved his hand back. Not sure if she knew that if she bit him, Alex could become a werewolf as well, and at the moment he didn't want that. Standing up, Alex watched as she laid down and reached her paw towards his boots and he chuckled slightly. He watched as both her and the German Shepard nipped at his boots and he chuckled again. "Would you two like to play? Nipping at my boots and hands. Very cute." |

The white female tilted her head slightly confused when the man moved his hand away. 'What'd I'd do?' she thought. When she heard him stand back up she twitched her ear and then felt Cain nip her shoulder and she wagged her tail then heard the man ask if they wanted to play and that nipping at his hands and boots was cute. Her ears pricked as her her tail wagged faster. She lifted her nose to the air catching the scent of a river and then turned toward the brush after butting Cain sideways. She blinked and then turned back and walked carefully behind the man and butted him forward nipping at his boots. 'Come on' she thought and then started forward playfully.
Sonja yipped like a pup and before Cain could stop her she had bounded into a tree. Shaking her head quickly she whimpered and sat down and Cain brushed up against her. She flattened her ears and then scoffed and let Cain lead her and the man toward the river. Once at the river she splashed into it and let out a short happy howl. Then got back out and shook her body and her ears pricked at the sound of branch snapping. She froze looking around her nose catching the scent of another human. She heard the click of a gun being cocked and whimpered backing away into the bushes. She hoped the man that had followed them could stop the other man.

Alex saw her tilt her head at him, confused at why he had moved away. His suspicion had been confirmed. She didn't know that he would change into a werewolf if he wasn't careful with her biting him. He shrugged at himself and moved when he saw the she-wolf go forward playfully. He watched her go around, acting like a pup and even running into a wall. Instantly, he went towards the she-wolf, but stopped when the hunter had seen the German Shepard go over to her, he stopped.
Following the two to the river, Alex looked around, staying alert. He knew that other hunters would be out and about, ready for a hunt. For a chase that they wouldn't forget. When they got to the river, with no trace of other hunters around, Alex slowly relaxed. He sat down and watched the she-wolf play around in the water like a pup. Then she paused. And Alex instantly stood up, he knew that noise. He leaned down and pulled out a knife before throwing it towards the direction of the gun being loaded. He heard a groan and knew, he had hit his target. |

She had flattened her ears as Cain snarled in the direction of the gun being loaded. Laying her down to the ground she whimpered and then heard the hunter groan in pain. Sonja listened quietly from where she was and then felt Cain's wet nose touch hers. She relaxed then stood up and started to come back out when she felt something around her neck. She stopped then started to back up quickly when it tightened and acting on inctinct she panicked. Releasing a frightened yelp she started to yank and pull but the snare only tightened around her throat. Cain could only whimper and try to calm her down. 'Get it off!' she yelled to herself feeling it tighten more and she coughed.

Alex smiled when he heard the hunter groan in pain, but then he turned his attention to a yelp. Once he saw the she-wolf caught with something around her neck, Alex made his way over to the German Shepard and the wolf. "I can help." he said to the dog, before reaching over to the wolf. He looked at the wolf and gave her a look to stay still. Slowly, he worked on the trap that was around her neck and slowly, he got it off of her.
Throwing it into the river and watching it float down stream and far away from them. Alex looked back to the wolf and gave her a smile. "Hold still, let me look at it. Make sure it didn't get to deep. I won't hurt you, I promise." |

Sonja started to freak out more as the male came over and then she stopped as he got the snare from around her neck. She heard him say "Hold still, let me look at it. Make sure it didn't get to deep. I won't hurt you, I promise." Her ears flattened unsure as she stepped back then she sat down lifting her neck up. Though she knew the cut maybe just an inch deep would heal though a scar would be there. Her body shivered a bit still though.

His hands softly brushed along the she-wolfs neck, he wanted to make sure that she understood that Alex wasn't going to hurt her. It was the last thing he wanted to do towards this wolf, that he didn't even know the name of. He saw the inch deep cut and wrinkled his nose. Alex knew that the injury would heal, but with a scar to prove it. He suddenly wondered, what did this wolf look like in person.. "It'll heal, but with a scar." |

Her ears were still flattened for a moment as she felt his hands along her neck. Then casually went forward. Her tail started to wag and she made a chuff sound as he said that the wound would heal but there would be a scar. She was curious of this man now. He had saved her not once but twice. She licked his hand gently and walked forward feeling Cain push his nose to her shoulder. Turning back she tilted her head then went back to the man butting his legs for him to go back to a tree. Sonja wagged her tail then gave a soft growl for him to stay put then she looked back at Cain waving her head and the two took back off the way they had come.
Upon coming back to the log she grabbed her clothes then changed back putting on the pants and t-shirt before slipping her cloak back on. She let Cain lead her back to the river before stopping behind a tree making a twig snap.

Alex didn't know what she was doing. He was confused, since he never really knew what wolves could say or do. Much less actually talk to him. But when she buffed at his legs, he moved towards a tree and sat down. Strange, since when did he listen to wolves? Sighing, he stayed where he was at until he heard a twig snap and he instantly stood up. What if it was that hunter. The same one that attacked then earlier.. "Whose there?" he asked, moving forward a bit. Since he didn't have an weapons anymore he'd have to do with hand-to-hand combat. Stopping, Alex looked around for a moment, listening to his surroundings. But there was nothing. Nothing at all.

"Whose there?" she heard him say and she slightly poked her head out saying very softly "Me...and Cain" Cain brushed his body beside her as she slowly stepped out the brush. She was unsure now especially with showing the man her human form. Though he had said he wouldn't harm her things could change. Her hands touched she tree still as she put her back against it her head still down with her hood covering it. Cain stood a bit in front of her feeling her uneasiness. "I..um wanted to thank you for helping me" she said softly. Her fingers moved against the bark of the tree.
