Name: Blayde Reid
Species: Human
Age: Twenty one
Occupation: Werewolf hunter
Children: …no…
Mother: Adelina Reid
Father: Carsten Reid
Siblings: None
Physical Description:
Blayde stands at a slightly above average height, with a strong build. He isn’t a bulky guy, but makes up for his lack of strength in endurance. His hair is often spiked, starting dark near his head and lightening up towards the ends. His eyes are silver, but there are dark circles around them from his constant insomnia. He is baby-faced, and finds it annoying that he struggles to grow facial hair.
Personality: Blayde is pretty sharp, like his name. He’s quick to insult, and doesn’t like to apologize unless it’s really needed. He is often seen as bitter, but he is often cranky from lack of sleep. He suffers with insomnia, finding it impossible to fall asleep at night. He’s often seen at all hours of the day, wandering around. He likes quiet places.
He’s very loyal to those that are close to him, but getting to that point is difficult. Most people can’t stay near someone who frowns a lot without starting to feel crappy as well. He doesn’t mind it though, for the few who do stick around see him when he’s happy as well.
He has a skill in drawing, though he has only ever used charcoal.
History:
Blayde’s parents are divorced. His mother fell in love with a werewolf, and tore apart the family life he once had. The man was deceitful though, and he often saw his mother covered in bruises and cuts. His father became a shell of what he once was, and soon he found that both of his parents were no longer there mentally and emotionally.
He tried to help his mother, and confronted the werewolf. He didn’t remember everything, but he did remember waking up on the floor, bloody and sore. The dead body of the werewolf was lying beside him, and his mother was cowering in the corner. She had a haunted look to her face, and she called him a monster.
How could he be the monster?
His mother no longer called him her son, and his father had long lost all affection for his only child. Blayde stopped being able to sleep, howling and memories that had been blocked appearing in graphic nightmares. He started to learn to fight, and began to hunt werewolves with a local hunter. Once he was old enough, he left home in Germany and traveled to Romania where the last of his savings are close to disappearing.
