You Test Me? HA! Think Again (Kylann//Maria)

She woke up early. The sun had yet to rise still. (Haylee) moved out of bed and moved toward dresser. She had gotten Maria to help her with choosing clothes to wear for the day the night before. She was happy that she had decided to let Maria take care of her. Her arm extended as she turned to the left going toward her bathroom and putting on her clothes. After a bit she came back out and went back to the bedside and felt under the bed for something. It was something special her family had passed down in the family. Her hand felt metal and she smirked pulling it out and quietly said "There you are" Standing up again she said "Cain?" The German Shepard got up from his bed and grabbed her cloak and led her to her door and downstairs quietly.

Sonja wasn't able to see the house but she could imagine of what it looked like by touch and how the others described it. The two snuck outside to the backyard and from how Kylann had described it to her. It was a big yard. She patted Cain's head before going forward and turning going four strides and taking the hilt of her sword and revealing it and swinging it precisely across a tree. The bark chipped some and Cain barked softly towards her. Her body turned as she ducked imagining her brother's moves and she came back up thrusting her arm forward. Then imagining her brother behind her she ducked into a roll and popped to her knees holding her arm back the tilt of of the sword just barely touching her cheek. Then she felt Cain lick her cheek and she smiled laughing saying "Thanks boy"

[Whisper]

Kylann slept late; later than usual, which was four am for him. He had trouble sleeping but he wouldn’t admit this to anybody. He lay staring at the ceiling, combing his fingers through his cerulean hair, sighing loudly. In the silence of the early morning his mind drifted to Sonja and he smiled. He was finally reunited with her and she was sleeping in the room just opposite of him. His heart jumped at this. He was ecstatic to have her back and honestly he was proud to bring her to the Edwards manor. He had spent the better part of their three years apart acquiring the needed assets to make both their lives better. Everything was ready now, including the house, his job and everything else. That was also why he approached her yesterday. He had been keeping a close eye on her this entire time, making sure she was safe and cared for, but he couldn’t be seen with her. The work he had been doing was dangerous…

Kylann rubbed his eyes, effectively clearing his mind and throwing his feet off the edge of the bed. He noticed the clock read 4:06 am and he slipped through a cold shower. Getting dressed in black jeans and a teal colored t-shirt he tied his hair back in a low pony like he always did and headed outside. He heard someone outside and he slowly slipped outside, moving in a near silent manner that no normal human would hear. He didn’t take into account that Sonja probably could hear him and he tiptoed towards her, showing a shh gesture at Cain. She looked really beautiful, not to mention deadly with that sword.

She chuckled again as Cain licked her cheek again and she said "Still good huh boy?" Sonja had to admit she was glad Kylann took upon himself to train her as they grew up. She relaxed her grip and sat the sword on the soft grass beside her and started petting Cain. As her hand sat on his head for a moment she felt his ears perk as something catching his attention. But he didn't move. Then she felt a small playful tug on her hair and she giggled saying "Tiny" She reached for him and brung him into a small hug saying "What you doing up so early?...You wanna watch too?" She felt the fox playfully tug on her hair and then heard him make a soft yipping sound. Sonja gave a small smirk and said "Alright you can watch too. And you and Cain can play a bit" Cain pushed his nose to her shoulder and butted the fox gently.

Sonja sat the fox down and then brushed Cain's head again getting ready to stand up when his ears perked. Someone else was outside and awake as well. Another smile crossed her face and she gripped her sword quickly and stood up turning and lifted it to where she guessed her brother's neck. "You know not to sneak up on me Ky." she said smirking slyly and then lowered her arm as if she wasn't going to do anything then slipped the sword back into its protective cover on her side. She turned her head back to her brother and then jumped at him hopefully making them both fall backwards to the ground. "Morning" she giggled.
