She twirled and skipped in the park. The morning started off gloomy but it seemed to be getting better. On a normal day she would be wearing dark clothing but for an odd reason she decided to where Capri with a black and red shirt with a rose outlined in silver dots. Over the months she had been letting her hair grow long again and as of now it was just touching her shoulders. She stopped her dance and saw a tree and skipped over to it. The trees at the park were easy for adventurous children to climb and she took advantage of it. Glancing around she lets her claws grow a bit before jumping up for a low branch and easily climbed up and laid her back against the tree as she looked over the park. Some faces she knew and others she didn't. A scent hit her nose and she smirked and then laid forward almost like a big cat would. Her eyes searched the faces of a friend.

Sure, I know it's dangerous for me, Luschka Desmile, the Beta Female of Infiniteria, to be in Bucharest, the territory of the other pack, but I have friends here. One friend in particular who I haven't seen for a while. Saniyah. I met the fifteen-year-old at Tooley's, a local bar in Eden Town, and then she discovered me with my boyfriend Seth Amos. I've missed the young girl. She's sweet, but yet she has an edge. She reminds me of myself. A lot of myself. I have been following her scent through the park when finally I see her in a tree. I smile wickedly and take off running, then jump gracefully into the tree. I look at the girl with a sly smile. Saniyah. Long time no see.

Saniyah stopped looking around and laid her chin on her hands and closed her eyes for a moment and then heard somebody running and then felt somebody grab the branch she laid upon. Her eyes flashed open as she sat up opening her mouth to say something when she saw Luschka and heard her say 'Saniyah. Long time no see.' A smile appeared on her face as she felt Lu ruffle her hair a bit. Niyah giggled shaking her head saying "Hey Lu. It has been a while. How are you?" She turned sideways on the branch and went backwards and hung from the branch for a moment then looked back up saying "Oh guess what now!...I'm getting trained now." she said in a more lower tone so nobody would hear her.

Smiling, I pull Niyah in for a hug. I kiss the top of her head lightly and then release her. Really, Niyah?! For what? Oh that's so great! Who's training you? I might know them.
[/color] I chuckle heartily and raise my eyebrows thoughtfully. I purse my lips and then remember that time when Niyah had once caught me and Seth together in the woods. A lot has happened since then. Might as well catch her up on that. Oh my God, Niyah! Remember how I was dating Seth Amos?! Well...he found out what I am. And he didn't kill me! He told me he didn't care what I am and that he still wanted me! Well, that is after I became all depressed and pretty much found no purpose in life and became miserable....but STILL!!!! He told me he loves me! Can you BELIEVE it?![/color] I laugh whole-heartedly and bounce up and down with excitement.[/blockquote][/blockquote] |

She sat back up on the branch and felt Lu pull her into a hug and kiss her forehead and let her go saying "Really, Niyah?! For what? Oh that's so great! Who's training you? I might know them." Niyah smiled saying "Yep, I'm gonna be a scout. By a male named, Shane...um..what is his last name? Desmile?...yea that's it! Shane Desmile!" It never occurred to the pup that the two of them were brother and sister. She hadn't been paying that much attention to last names anyway.
Saniyah clapped her hands saying "He's really funny too" then she listened as Lu spoke about remembering Seth and she smiled saying nodded then her jaw dropped as she said Seth new she was a werewolf. "You're kidding?!" she said her eyes wide. She listened more and then smiled at the end saying "That's Great, Lu lu!" She grasped the branch they were on and said "Calm down for we both fall out of the tree" She laughed and then smiled.

I smile and congratulate her before we start talking about Seth. Then when we finish talking about Seth and I calm down, I realize who is training her. Shane, she said. Shane Desmile. I freeze and slowly look at Saniyah. Hold up. One second. Rewind. Did you say Shane Desmile? As in my older brother who's supposed to have been dead for the past seven years? Holy shit, Niyah. What does he look like?! How old is he?!
[/color] I start shaking slightly realizing that the seventeen-year-old brother I once had that mysteriously disappeared after hunters attacked our house might actually be alive and well. In my pack's rival pack. In the town where I was raised until I was twelve. I should have never left and came to Eden Town. I would have lived with him my whole life. Wait, no. I can't say that. That means I would have never met the wonderful people I know now. I would have never had my wonderful life. But still, he may be alive. My brother may actually be alive.[/blockquote][/blockquote] |

She watched Lu calm down and then she giggled saying "As long as Seth doesn't hurt you then he won't have to worry about me" Standing up on the branch carefully she spotted an apple two branches higher and smirked and started to climb. Making it onto the first branch she looked down for a moment then climbed to the other grabbing the apple. She bit into it and then heard Luschka say "Hold up. One second. Rewind. Did you say Shane Desmile? As in my older brother who's supposed to have been dead for the past seven years? Holy shit, Niyah. What does he look like?! How old is he?!"
She stopped in mid bite and said "Yea" and repeated her words in her head then it clicked and she gasped and bits of the apple went down her throat. Niyah coughed falling backwards and grabbed onto the branch below as she fell. Hanging onto it she coughed a bit more then said "Shane's your brother!?!" She sunk her claws into the bark before climbing back down towards her. "He has gold eyes, black hair and is very tall. I don't know how old he is...in his 20's I guess." In the back of her head though she like 'What the heck have I gotten myself into?' Her mind drifted back to when Shane had told her he cared for her. "And he sorta likes me" she said without knowing it. She clasped her hand over her mouth muttering "Crap"
Thinking for a quick moment she said "Well I think Leah is looking for me. I'd better go look for her" She climbed back down to the ground quickly not wanting to explain to Lu that her brother, Shane Desmile 'loved' her.

Gold eyes. Black hair. Very tall. My brother. I remember it like it was yesterday. The warm gold eyes looking down at me with such love and admiration. Then they would change to light pink. My favorite color. When his eyes were that color it meant he was in love, well in a family sort of way. When ever he looked at me his eyes changed that wonderful color. They only turned that color for me. Only me. And they probably still would. I smile at the memories. In his twenties? He should be twenty four about now. He'll be twenty five soon. Then Niyah says something that catches me totally off guard. He likes her? My twenty four-year-old brother likes a fifteen-year-old?! I freeze and look at Niyah. She then says 'Crap' and makes the classic excuse that her guardian is looking for her. As soon as she gets three feet away from the tree, I use my werewolf speed and I'm dead in her path within a half a second. What? Did you say my twenty four year old brother likes you?
[/color] I laugh and shake my head. Oh well, I guess I can see why. You are pretty awesome. Saniyah. I need you to do me a huge favor. I need you to arrange a meeting for us. Just--don't let him know I'll be there. Tell him it's urgent and that you need to speak to him right away. As a matter of fact, do you by any chance have his number? You could text him now....oh PLEASE Niyah??? Please! Please! Please!!!![/color][/blockquote][/blockquote] |

She hadn't gotten but a few feet away when Luschka blocked her way saying "What? Did you say my twenty four year old brother likes you?" She blinked and smiled a bit saying "Yea..." Her eyes went to the ground embarrased as Lu laughed shaking her head. Then she looked back up at her as she said that she could see why Shane liked her. Her head tilted some at the thought. What was there to like about her? She pushed the question away and then listened to Lu as she asked for her to do her a huge favor. Shrugging she said "Sure. I have his number." and smilled at the end.
Taking her hand she reached into her pocket of her capri and pulled her cellphone out and dialed a number. Casually looking around she heard the phone ring a couple times before hearing Shane answer. "Hey Shaney can you come to the Park?...its well..um important. Please" she said scratching her head turning to her side befor hearing his answer and hanging up. Niyah looked back at her and smiled saying "Own his way"

I nod and hug her when she gets off the phone. Thank you. Thank you so much.
[/color] I smile a little since I'm really nervous. I leap up into the tree and sit in one of the highest branches awaiting the arrival of my long-lost brother.... ******** I had just gotten out of the shower and gotten dressed when my phone rang. I groaned and picked it up to see who it was and my caller ID said it was Saniyah. I smile and my mood changes completely. I answer but Niyah seems a little out of the usual. I cock my head as I listen to her speak. She wants to see me. And it's important. I contemplate this for a moment but then I tell her I'll be there. I'll be there.[/color] I grab my keys, jacket, put on my shoes, and run out the door. I hop in my jaguar and drive down the road at full speed. Getting out of my car, my eyebrows knit together, I run following Niyah's scent. I find her standing by the base of a tree and approach her with caution. The look on her face makes me feel a little unsure of my decision to come. I look around real quick, making sure Aleah isn't going to hyjack and kill me. Nope. I'm good. When I reach Sani I smile. She chuckled as Lu hugged and thanked her and she opened her mouth as she saw her leap into the trees to wait. "Your welcome" she called up and decided to wait down on the ground for Shane. Niyah leaned against the base of the tree and watched the people as they walked around the park. Closing her eyes she lifted her head toward the warm sun and smirked after hearing Shane say "You called?" Her brown eyes brightened as she looked toward him and she skipped to him. Not something she normally did. She hugged him and breathed in his scent. He smelled fresh. And she smiled saying "You smell good...hehe and yep I gotta show you something"
Reaching for his hand she led him back to the tree and stopped under it and said "Okay....look directly up" She giggled a little slightly stepping aside so Lu could jump down.

I stare down at the ground and then I see a jaguar pull up. I laugh under my breath. It's definitely Shane. He was always that type. Like me. We both liked hot rods and sports cars. As soon as he steps out of the car, I am dumbfounded. He looks exactly the same, but so different. He comes and I smile as he and Saniyah hug. Then she tells him to look up. I jump out of the tree and land right in front of Shane, and right beside Niyah. Shane...
[/color][/blockquote][/blockquote] *** I cock my head and look straight up and am completely surprised to see a flash of platinum blonde hair. My eyes widen and I look straight in front of me to see her there. She says my name and I just stare, wide-eyed and completely...well...confused. Nonetheless, I take her tight in my arms. Lu... It had been so long since I've had contact with my sister. Sure, I've watched her ever since I found her, but we hadn't spoke or touched. She hadn't even seen me.
