Lakeside Preparatory School is located on the outskirts of Irondequoit, New York and surrounded by lakes on three sides its borders. On the outside Lakeside Prep looks like a normal, but private school for elite students. It is out of the way so few people travel here and only those who have an invitation are admitted. It is spread out over 200 acres of land behind a 100 foot tall brick wall, which people are not allowed to fly over without permission. There is a large castle in the middle of the 200 acres. Surrounding the castle there is a house, a forest, open land, and a weird looking field with bubble wands that were bigger than usual.
The only thing that makes Lakeside Prep different from the other private schools, besides the secrecy created by the wall, is that is teaches young people things not taught in regular schools. It is a school for witches and wizards from all over the United States.
