She moved quietly around through the forest surrounding the Lake. The young girl was bored. There were no other children her age in Validus and she often found herself going to see her friends Azuki or Luschka in Infiniteria. The same thing everyday, although she was starting to be trained by the head scout and her sister. Shaking her head she stopped breathing in the summer night air. Saniyah was tired of summer she wanted fall to be here already. Lowering her head she trotted on through the brush scaring possible prey away. She didn't care she wasn't hungry then she heard a twig snap and she froze. Her head snapped up as she looked around. Nothing was to be seen though so she kept going. 'Maybe a little swim at the lake will keep me busy for a bit' she thought and headed for the end of the tree line.
Niyah poked her head out giving a good long look around the lake to make sure it was safe. Then she slowly moved out her ears listening for any sounds of others. Then she took a good running start before splashing into the water. Her head ducked up under the dark water before she came back up and shook the water from her ears. It was a good thing she knew how to swim. Her yellow eyes scanned around as she paddled around in the water.

Ryanna was hungry, that was the only reason she was in her wolf form. She didn't want to risk stealing food from town when she could easily get food here for free. She crouched and waited for her prey to show up. Her senses picked something up before she could see it. She wasn't sure what it was, but she knew she should check it out. Suddenly a small elk wandered onto her path. She quickly took it down and ate her meal. She stayed in wolf form just in case she needed to protect herself. She heard a large splash and headed in its direction. She stopped at the tree line and saw a young wolf, quite like her, in the water. She poked her head out, but didn't say anything. She just watched her splash around. |

Her head ducked back down into the water as splashed about then she moved back towards the bank. Her paws touched the earth and she shook her body free of most of the water. Niyah knew she'd smell like wet dog once she went back to the inn but she didn't care. Her eyes scanned around for a moment then she lifted her head sniffing the air. Someone else was around. Her fur bristled but she knew it was of her own kind but also that it was a female.
Saniyah wriggled her nose then said softly 'You can come out now. I know you're there' Loners were in and out of Validus territory so it was no surprise that one had found its way toward the lake. She sat back on her haunches and watched the tree line carefully.

Ryanna watched the werewolf play in the water. What she wouldn't give to jump in there. She knew she needed a bath, but she wouldn't be comfortable with that one around. Maybe when she left Ryanna would get a bath. Until then she just sat back and watched the happy girl. She stood up as the girl got out of the lake and shook her fur out. When she started sniffing Ryanna knew she was caught. She hoped she wouldn't be in too much trouble. She slowly edged out of the tree line and stopped as soon as she was in full view. She hung her head and apologized. Sorry. I wasn't watching to be weird. I just wanted to use the lake after you were done. She smiled sheepishly at the werewolf but didn't more any closer to her. |

Her ears pricked when she saw movement and watched the female come out with her head low and apologize. Her head tilted as the female seemed to be around her age. Her tail wagged a bit at the possibility and she said "Its alright. My name's Saniyah but the pack calls me Niyah....who are you?" She breathed in slightly catching the scent of Infiniteria on her now.

Ryanna was relieved to hear the words 'Its alright'. She didn't want to be somewhere she wasn't allowed. She still didn't know the territories, if the packs even had territories. The only werewolves she met were both loners. She looked up as the girl introduced herself as Saniyah. Ryanna though Niyah looked excited to meet someone new so she took a chance and introduced herself instead of running away. She was also curious about the packs. I'm Ryanna. What pack is that? She moved a bit closer to the lake to wash off her mouth from her recent dinner. She turned back to the girl and sat down. |

She listened as the other female said her name was Ryanna and asked about the pack. Her eyes followed Ryanna as she went to the lake and then turn back to her and sit down. "Validus pack. You're in Bucharest right now. From the Residential all the way to Carol Park is our territory. The other pack, Infiniteria which I can smell a little of your fur by the way. Their territory is towards the National pack. Beyond there both packs goes to Eden town." Her ears caught movement and she looked around standing up and sniffed the air catching the slight scent of a human. Her eyes went back to Ryanna as she said "We'd better get out of the open. Hunters occasionally come here"[/color]
Turning away she started to move back into the brush. "I know a place we can talk follow me" She said glancing back before setting off.

Ryanna listened as the girl explained about the packs. Validus and Infiniteria. She said she could smell the last pack on her fur. She wondered how that happened. Was she destined for that pack or what. She wasn't sure, but she didn't want to ask cause she didn't want to look stupid in front of someone her age. She turned in the direction of the smell. Would they hunt us? She got up and followed the other girl, hoping the hunter didn't follow. |

She disappeared into the brush with Ryanna behind her and led her a good distance away from the lake. She had heard Ry's words and stopped by a small cave that had tree limbs growing in front of it. Niyah looked back at her saying ' Yea some do. I've had my fair share of some hunting me. But a couple can be good enough to trust.' she smiled at the end then the wind blew and she smelled the hunter again. Releasing a growl she tilted her head to the cave saying ' You can hide in here. I can handle it' Moving back a couple times she then jumped up above the cave saying 'This hunter has obviously tracked us down' Hiding herself she listened for the hunter as it got closer.

Ryanna followed her through the brush, wondering where they would end up. She was glad Saniyah knew where they were going. I have never been hunted, but I knew a hunter once. Thoughts of her family, once again, filled her mind. She thought of them too much, too often. She slipped into the cave that Saniyah pointed out and waited for it to be safe agian. Be careful Fear seized up inside her as she listened to the hunter get closer and closer. |
