Peri gazed at Will for a few moments, watching his quickly spreading blush with a pleased, almost fond smile, placing her elbow on the armrest of the sofa, resting her chin in her palm in a relaxed fashion.
His question threw her for a moment, really having to stop and think. How long had she been here? It couldn't have been longer than a year, maybe nine months of so. Not that she'd spent much time in the apartment. It was just a bolthole, for intervals between her... well, living. She was a free spirit, she needed to be out living her life. As well as all the repercussions for her lifestyle.
"Uh... not long, actually. Coming up to a year, I think. I don't spend much time back here, so that's probably why I seem so new, haha."
Turning her attention back to him, she noted that despite the slight fluster she'd caused in his demeanour, he was beginning to seem quite relaxed, happy even. Her little drink appeared to be working, then. Hopefully he'd go for a second.
"Hence why it could probably do with a bit of fixing up. A lick of paint, here and there."
She glanced around as she said this, frowning a little. And there, and there. Pretty much everywhere, actually. She'd get round to it eventually. Hell, maybe she could even rope her new neighbour friend into helping out.
"What about you?"

William blinked. Well, that would certainly explain things; Miss Peri looked like the traveling type. He hadn't seen her because...Well...She simply hadn't been here to be seen. He took another long drink of the tea, noticing faintly that it was almost gone, and soon only a few dregs would remain.
"Me? O-oh...I-I suppose must have lived h-here for...oh...n-nearly four...m-maybe five years now. That's why I w-was surprised I hadn't seen-"
He motioned to Peri and smiled again weakly before draining the rest of his tea. Then, feeling that he could probably elaborate;
"I-I work down at the Steel mill"

Huh. Somehow, Peri didn't exactly have him down as the physical labour type, but was almost pleasantly surprised. Although, there was still a chance he was admin. Either way. She wasn't adverse to a nice suit, on a nice man.
"Ahh, how interesting~"
She smile, a genuine smile this time, glancing down into his mug, surprised to see it empty so soon. He should be starting to feel that lovely warm buzz by now, she hoped.
"Would you like another tea, Will?"
She asked sweetly, draining her second glass before rising to her feet and gently plucking the mug from his hand, fingers brushing lightly over his knuckles as she did so. She somehow figured that she'd probably get him to drink more, even if he did politely decline.
Wandering back over to the kitchenette, she filled up her own cup, taking a quick sip before filling up the kettle, shaking the bottle of Baileys to see how much was left. More than enough for her purposes, how wonderful.
"I waitress down at the Red Dragon, a few blocks away from here. It's a nice place, of course, if you've got some cash to spare."
She giggled a little, thinking of all the poor saps who took their girlfriends or wives to that place for a 'romantic' evening. Sure, it was a nice enough restaurant, but at that price, the meal would be their gift and no more.

"O-oh yes, I know the place"
Will tried to concentrate on the image of the little Chinese restaurant; it was on his bus route, so he either drove or walked past the place every day. The Red Dragon was a little out of his price range for dinner though, so it was usually just a quick glance in at the warm interior and a moment to enjoy the rich cooking smells before hurrying along again. It was almost amusing how close he and Peri worked and lived, considering how they had only just met.
He decided that yes, another tea would go down remarkably well, and settled back comfortably in the little chair.

Busying herself with the tea, Peri heaved a small sigh, thinking about work. She had a night shift the next day, Saturday dinner was one of the busiest times of the week, meaning she'd be run ragged after fussy families who didn't know what they were letting themselves in for when they'd come for dinner at a traditional Chinese restaurant. Fools.
She supposed her uniform was pretty sweet though.
"I wouldn't recommend it on a weekend, trust me, it's packed. I've gotta do the dinner shift tomorrow night. Wearing the uniform is pretty fun though, a red traditional cheongsam. it's pretty short, though, makes things a little awkward when I'm serving lecherous single guys, haha."
Finishing another mug of her 'special' tea, with a double helping of her secret ingredient, she settled back in her seat, handing him the mug gingerly, so not to burn either of them. Glancing at the clock, she realized it would be getting on for 4am soon. Damn, they certainly had talked the night away. Not that she minded, she was hardly even tired.
"What's it like at the steel mill?"
She couldn't help but query, despite it all, Peri was still a curious creature at heart.

William took the cup eagerly, flopping back in the armchair to think. On a work level, William didn't actually get to see much of the 'interesting' side of Mill; he didn't think he'd ever be cut out for any form of physical work, werewolf or nay.
"Dull, r-really"
he chuckled, trying to imagine his little clerk job as anything exciting to talk about.
"I-I just work in the office side; s-sorting papers and filling in forms. I-it's hardly glamorous living. B-but it was all I could f-find, and it's money"
He paused to take a swig of the new tea, smiling gratefully at Peri.

Aha. She didn't think he'd be one of those well-muscled men, working the physical side of things. But she really didn't mind, for once, she thought she might actually prefer the admin side of things. And he was right, it was money, as was her job. She didn't exactly aspire to be a waitress, but it fuelled her habits and thirst for life.
"I know what you mean. At least it's something I guess. Do you have any aspirations? You know, dream job and all that crap."
Damn, she really was getting sidetracked now.
They'd spent almost a good two hours chatting now, Peri had almost completely forgotten her original, devious intentions. It was odd. She actually enjoyed this man's company. The thought caused her to shift uncomfortably in her seat, almost nervously. That was a bad road to go down. Peri didn't do friends.
At least she had the double measure in his drink to count on. After that mug, he'd surely be inebriated with the best of them. Then she could work her magic with ease... well, not to mention, she wouldn't need to worry about him remembering much the next morning.

William blinked through the pink fog that seemed to be lightly filling up his brain, making it harder to concentrate steadily.
what were his dreams exactly? Anything he might have wanted to do had been quite rudely shoved to the side once he'd been... William absentmindedly moved a hand up to scratch at his shoulder before quickly pulling it away in case Peri noticed. Those were not thoughts to dwell on at this time of night, nor something to blurt out at the pretty girl sitting in front of him.
"heh...I-I can't say I really have...H-How dull of me'. A-as long as I have somewhere t-to"
He trailed off and waved a hand carelessly around the apartment. Somehow this was quite hilarious and he had to fight back a small snort of laughter.

Yep, he was definitely well on his way to drunk-land. Being still fairly intoxicated herself, his silly grin to fight back his fit of laughter had her in small bursts of giggles herself, much more threatening to have the two of them in some sort of hilarious heap, seemingly having some sort of laughing meltdown. It was beginning to sound rather fun, actually.
Leaning forward from her seat - inadvertently showing a rather large amount of bust - she pouted, refusing to take that much as an answer.
"Aww, c'mon, you must have some dreams. Something that you really want..."
Peri was practically off her seat now, staring at him insistently, eyes closer to bright crimson now with intrigue and amusement. Her eye colour, especially when her emotions reached various peaks, would normally freak people out, especially humans. Which he was. At least she could only assume he was.
Well... there was really only one way to find out. Peri was more of a hunter than a tracker, but she would surely know a werewolf scent when she smelt one. Subtly inhaling, she began to mentally dissect the scent.
...the forest? Why did he smell of the forest? A distinct, earthy, almost comforting scent exuded from his skin, that seemed to travel to her very core, the most primal part of her.
Oh God.
Leaning back once more, looking nothing less than distracted and shocked, Peri swallowed awkwardly, a little shaken. Well, that was unexpected. He seemed like the last person she'd expect to be... one of her kind. Was he in a pack? A loner, like her?
Her mind began to bubble over with questions, but she couldn't just yell out 'Hey, you're a werewolf, aren't you?' without seeming pretty damn weird. She'd just have to keep stum for now. Regaining her composure, she curled up in the seat, in a childlike position with her knees drawn up to her chest, awaiting an answer.

William blinked slightly as Peri suddenly drew back, as she had leaned forward through the fog he had entertained the very brief and very quickly dispelled fantasy that maybe she was about to kiss him. He wasn't too sure what that idea had come from, but at this stage, he really didn't care. The thought was rather interesting, after all.
he blinked again, rapidly.
"Heh...well I...It's hardly something one..."
he was becoming slowly aware that he was slouching in the chair, and hastened to drag himself upwards into a better sitting position.
"w-when I was a boy I wanted to d-drive trains"
This sudden musing brought forth another loud giggle, along with the slight realization that he was slurring his words. When had that started?

Peri blinked for a moment, for once not quite joining in with the giggle fit, giving this some proper thought.
Trains. A werewolf who drives trains. Werewolf train.
That was one train she really wanted to be on. Finally allowing herself to start giggling a little, she attempted to relax a little, trying to wrap her head around the fact that the sweet, little Will she was sat with could also be a... big bad wolf. Like herself. It didn't connect, just didn't make sense.
But then again, would people look at her and think, she's obviously a werewolf? Probably not. Considering she was rather small and looked fairly weak, despite packing a serious punch. Then again, werewolves were either born or made, and if he was bitten too, it was likely by accident.
Just like her.
"Trains... now that is interesting..."
She giggled as she said this, now realizing that she'd achieved her goal. Will was most wonderfully drunk. He was slouched in his chair, giggling and grinning to himself, slurring his words. Hell, even his stutter was beginning to fade. She pondered how he would become with more alcohol. Perhaps he'd even be confident? Now that would be pretty strange to see.
"Is that all that you want... Will? You must have desires, I'm sure... You can tell me, my lips are sealed~"
She spoke softly, particularly emphasizing his name, gently running one finger across her lips as she ended her sentence, gazing into his eyes with a sweet smile. Time to turn on the charm. And hope he was drunk enough not think her odd, but not too drunk to puke on her and/or pass out.

William felt his eyes drawn to Peri's finger, dancing across her lips. He smiled, a little lopsidedly, and moved a slightly wavering hand carefully up to undo his tie.... After a brief moment of panic, in which his fingers found only air, he remembered where it was... And who had undone it... He chose instead to try and smooth down his hair.
"heh...now that's hardly...w-well"
His face was a very nice red colour by now, and he was certainly starting to feel the heat in the apartment. Slowly he managed to pull himself up to start sliding off his suit jacket
"I can't say I..."
He was staring now, he knew it, and hardly able to string a good sentence together. But that was good...That was...Just peachy...

Giggling softly, she rose from the sofa, coming to rest gently upon the armrest of the armchair, leaning across him to help him out of his suit jacket, gently pressed up against him in order to do so. She could feel his constant stare burning into her, which she had to admit made her a little nervous, but fought it off, pulling him forward towards her in order to remove the jacket, then placing it with his tie, deciding to give him the choice whether he moved away or not.
"Is that a little better? I must admit, it's getting a little hot in here..."
Unfortunately, that was more truth than seductive lie. A silk corset wasn't the most comfortable thing to wear in the heat, causing her to shift uncomfortably on the armrest. Peri was many things, but even she knew that stripping off in these circumstances would be a little inappropriate.
"I'm sure you can say..."
She decided to persist, since even she was curious now as to what he would say. Crossing one leg over the other, she awaited his answer, finishing the last of her drink.

The sudden close proximity of Peri to William was...exhilarating to him. It wouldn't be much of a surprise to learn that William wasn't a ladies man to any degree, or from any perspective. The stammer and the rather permanent look of terror usually put pay to that. This was certainly not how the little man had envisioned the end to his Friday night.
The feel of Peri's silk corset against his shirt was almost enough to push through the pink fog just slightly, causing another little explosion of giggles from William, along with another lopsided grin.
"I can't say I-I really know"
he finally managed to finish his little sentence, realizing that probably wasn't the best reply to Peri's question. He opened his mouth to line up a more suitable answer, but found his tea mug suddenly dropping from his hands, spilling the last of the dregs on the carpet.
"oops..."

A bit of unsatisfactory answer, she had to admit, but she was quickly distracted by the dropped mug, quickly bending down to pick it up and dab nervously at the carpet. At least it was only tea, it was practically the same shade as the carpet anyway, Irish cream or not.
Looking up to comfort him that it was perfectly fine - as she was pretty certain that by now he'd be fretting over the spill - she realized she had rather an awkward eyeline, having ended up on her knees, directly in front of his... below the belt area. Freezing for a moment, with a very surprised, very confused face, Peri clasped the mug with both hands, almost looking like a deer in the headlights.
Out of context, this really did look pretty bad.
Well, at least they were both fully clothed. Well, minus a suit jacket and tie, and a couple of buttons, all harmless stuff. It could be worse. At least he wasn't an 'excitable' drunk, in a slightly different meaning of the word.
"I don't suppose you'd like something else to drink? Perhaps something more a little... exciting?"
Yes, it was becoming painfully obvious Peri was trying to get him drunk, but judging by Will's current state, she could have probably just stuck a funnel in his mouth and poured, and he'd happily obliged. She got the feeling he'd make a great drinking buddy... well, if he'd ever agree to it in a million years.
