William smiled weakly at the joke, slightly ashamed at his defensive answer and manner; the man hadn't known, as, he supposed, his suit wearing habits might look somewhat odd to someone who didn't know him.
"s-sorry, i-it's been...quite a week"
He murmured, desperate to show that he hadn't meant to be quite so rude.

"Oh, rough time at work?" he questioned, "Ah, why don't you come over to my apartment? I'm quarantined right now, and my...girlfriend...Luschka is missing for the day." He found it strange to call someone his girlfriend, but it was his current relationship status. He had barely been here a week though and he already had a girl coming around his apartment.
"This place is a little run down, but I managed to get my apartment fixed up for the most part." Well, he was a neat freak so when he walked into the apartment his uncle had rented for him, he'd nearly had a heart attack. It took his hours of scrubbing, and a new wallpaper to at least get the place presentable. The owner had been baffled at his request to be able to fix the place up, but it would drive him absolutely insane to stay there otherwise.

"Heh...S-something like that.."
Blinking at Seth's suggestion, William smiled. He was being invited and dragged off to all manner of places lately, it was certainly an...interesting...Change to the norm. Chuckling slightly, remembering Peri's first request to visit her apartment, William stepped out into the corridor.
"r-really? I don't t-think I've heard of m-many people doing repair work on their apartments.."
William himself had done some cleaning, of course, covering the stains and painting the walls, but hardly more than that. When one was liable to rip the wallpaper to shreds a few times a month, what was the point, really?

"My uncle says I'm a neat freak, but you should have seen the apartment before I moved in. Dust, cobwebs..." he shivered, moving down the hall as Will seemed to be taking him up on his offer. "Small things drive me nuts, though I'm pretty sure I don't have OCD. I am just fickle on where I'm staying, if I'm there for more than a week." he explained.
He moved down the hallway, opening his door before quickly flicking a switch to turn off his traps. Thank god he'd rigged it near his door, so he could easily let people in without having to explain all weapons flying through the hall.
Seth's apartment wasn't perfect, but it was obvious he had scrubbed the rooms and put up new wallpaper. There were a few weapons out, but nothing that could raise a bow. He probably just looked like he was an outdoorsman that enjoyed to go hunting for rabbits. Or something.

William followed after, nervous but interested to see what Seth's apartment must look like now, with such a person staying inside of it.
"S-so you travel often? W-where have you been?"
He asked, that part of Seth's explanation catching his interest. He wondered if it would sound odd to ask the man if he had been to England recently. It might make the home sick knot in William's chest subside just slightly to know what had been happening in the past six years...
He wondered faintly what Seth did for a living, with such an obvious interest in traveling.

He motioned for the other to come inside. There was one hall that went all the way down before it ended with a door to his bedroom. There were then other doors along the sides that led to the rest of the apartment. The first door was more of a large opening, which led to the living room.
"I've been all over Europe, Asia, Australia, the Americas, a little bit of South Africa..." In all honesty it was hard for him to keep track. His passport had all the stamps and things, but that was tucked away in the desk in his living room. "My uncle is in China somewhere right now. I guess I picked up my traveling habits from him."

Gazing around at the apartment, William couldn't help but feel a little thrill in his stomach at the thought of traveling to so many places. William himself had spent the past six years deliberately not traveling anywhere; not even back home.
He wondered how one could have the courage to do so- just up and leave whenever it suited. But then, he supposed, it must be different when you didn't have that inner wolf to attend to whenever it chose.
A sudden curious thought struck him, coupled with a sudden feeling of unease.
"S-so...W-what made you choose a little Romanian t-town?"

"Oh, I heard rumors of good hunting grounds." he replied, which was completely true. Hunters used a network to find werewolves by collecting reports of sightings. This area had quite a few wolf sightings, which led him to believe there were probably many werewolves as well. Besides, what better place to find a werewolf than in Romania, one of most supernatural places in the world? It had a rich history of folklore and legends, after all.
"I think I'm going to be here the longest though. You're from England though right? You have the accent."

Now that he was further inside the apartment, William's keen nose was starting to pick up a few different scents and traces weaving in between the usual ones of Seth and everyday living. Some of them were starting to seem rather familiar. William quickly shook his head and glanced up at Seth's question.
He smiled weakly and nodded in reply, running a hand through his hair nervously.
"I-I haven't been back in...Q-quite a while though...heh, Romanian took rather a long time to learn..."
Sidling a little closer to Seth, suddenly realizing he could ask his question without seeming too eager or strange, William continued, trying to keep the excitement from his voice.
"Y-you haven't...Been there recently, h-have you?"

"I was in Luton, though that's probably not the best place for tourists." He said, moving towards the kitchen. He figured he should heat up some water for tea. "That was a little over a year ago. My uncle needed help with a job, so I flew in from Japan."
He nodded at the Romanian part "its pretty here, and it took me a while to learn the language too. But I travel so much I can pick them up pretty quick now."

William chuckled at Seth's last statement, padding after him into the small kitchen.
"I-it took me close to t-three years to even f-feel comfortable with it all- I-I can hardly say I share your talents"
Although he felt a small pang of disappointment at Seth's apparent lack of interest in his stay in England, he didn't see how he could press the man further. Besides, what was he expecting? The man to suddenly jump round and explain everything William had missed from his family for the past six years, in high detail? It would be best to just keep his mouth shut.
Glancing up again as Seth flicked on the kettle, he wondered briefly if he could ask for a coffee...The thought of tea made him slightly uneasy still.

"Well, you could say I was raised to be the best." he gave a shrug. He was basically forced as a child to learn many languages, and eventually he simply found it second nature to pick up new ones. Before he moved though, he often crammed it into his brain. "What part of England are you from? You still have family there?"
"Tea okay, or are you a coffee person? I don't really drink either, warm drinks for some reason don't appeal to me." But Luschka seemed to like them, so he kept a small supply.

"F-from the South of England, o-originally. M-my family owned an estate there"
A small, fond smile swept over William's face for a moment at the nostalgic thought of his old home, before being replaced by a frown.
"I...I don't k-know if they still live there t-though..."
He blinked as it suddenly occurred to him that he might have said too much in that respect. What would a posh young Englishman be doing in a small, run down apartment complex in the depths of Romania? He hoped Seth hadn't noticed his blunder and quickly straightened his tie before nodding hurriedly at his next question.
"C-coffee...i-if you don't mind"

Seth started the coffee maker, and offered a chair for Will to sit down in. "I haven't been in that area since I was about eight. I learned how to fence there." he said as he sat down himself. It wasn't long before the smell of coffee started to drift in the air. He liked the smell of coffee, but he didn't like the taste. He had more of a sweet tooth.
"I don't really keep in the greatest touch with my family either. We're all drifters, so a phone call every here and there is enough."

Plonking himself down in the chair, William smiled across at his neighbor and listened to him talk as the sounds of the coffee machine filled the air. It made him feel a small twinge of happy nostalgia to just be able to talk about where he had lived, even if the subject wasn't about himself.
"F-fence? r-really? Are y-you any good?"
William felt the little blush return, realizing how dull his own exploits and skills would seem next to this well traveled, educated man.
"R-really? Are they all as well traveled a-as you are?"
