A small smile came upon Seth's face, and he gave a small nod. "Yes, it didn't take me very long to learn it. I know a couple of different fighting styles and weapons, though I only did it for sport when I was young. My uncle, who raised me, took me out of it when he realized I was more built for heavy weapons too." He poured two cups of coffee once it was done, setting one in front of Will.
"Yes, probably more than I have. My uncle has been to your home country numerous of times, I think. He claims to like the history."

William found himself chuckling slightly as he picked the mug up gingerly in both hands, careful not to burn himself.
"H-heavy weapons? Y-you must hunt some rather l-large animals...
Deer maybe? William knew from close experience just how much of a wide variety of animals run about in the woods, he wondered which sort it was that Seth hunted. Something large enough to give him stitches, whatever it was...
He blinked

"Yeah, I hunt big game. There's no fun in just going for small deer all the time, ya know? I don't really like the thought of just sitting in a tree stand and waiting for them to walk by." He sat down, reaching and scooping sugar into his coffee. He liked sweet things, so bitter coffee had to be flooded with sugar before he could stomach it.
He'd eat sweets all day if he was allowed to.
"It can be dangerous, but I've been doing this since I was a kid."

William found himself nodding slightly in agreement; there was something exhilarating about running after one's prey, be it rabbit, squirrel or deer, the thrill of the chase, he supposed. And it made sense. Although William doubted Seth enjoyed it for the same reason that he did.
"W-well I can't say i-it's something I can s-see myself doing"
He lied softly,Shifting in his chair and watching as Seth started to scoop copious amounts of sweet sugar into his coffee.
"Apart from the stitches?"
He smiled.

Seth laughed, shaking his head. "I can say I wouldn't mind skipping the stitches. Though I'm pretty used to them. I've always been having small accidents growing up." He had probably broken nearly every bone in his body at some point, save for his neck.
"Ah, do you know any other neighbors around here?"

William shook his head at the question, taking a careful sip of coffee before replying;
"N-not many, heh, o-only a few p-people stay for v-very long enough around here"
He glanced around the small room, noting, as with his own, that although Seth had taken great care to create a warm, comfortable space, there was still an air of unkept damp and dust about the building.
"C-can't really say I-I blame them..."
A small blush rose to his face as his brain nudged him, reminding him that his answer was not, strictly speaking, true; there was one person he knew very well in the apartment complex. He wondered what she would make of Seth.
Smiling now, he warmed his hands on the coffee mug before adding.
"H-have you met M-miss Hastings yet?"

He chuckled and nodded at the comment about the complex, not able to really argue with the statement. This place was falling apart, but it was affordable and near where he needed to be. A sort of no questions asked, no questions needed sort of setting.
His head tilted slightly at the unkown name, "No, you're the first neighbor I've met." she was probably friendly enough though if this timid man could get along with her. His smile when he spoke of her was a tell-tale sign that it was a pleasant though.

William's smile widened slightly as he quietly looked Seth up and down, realising that, had Seth and Peridot met before, she would most certainly have told William about it; judging from the other man's looks and manners.
"S-she would like you"
He said truthfully, feeling a light squirm of jealously settle in his gut as he took this thought in. But the man had mentioned another woman; his girlfriend maybe? A partner? Surely even Peri wouldn't be that bad?
"S-she lives just across the hall from me...M-maybe w-we should all...Meet? A-at some point..."

"Sure, I'd like that. I have a lot of free time on my hands lately. Luschka can't entertain me forever, she has her own work to do." He sipped at his coffee, adding even more sugar into it. There was probably a thick sugar sludge on the bottom by now.
He paused for a second, realizing he probably didn't know who he was talking about. "Ah, Luschka is my girlfriend, I guess you could say. I'm not really the best at that sort of thing though, so...it feels weird to say that. She would probably like to join too though."

"a-ah"
The thought that the man already had a girlfriend of some sort ( and with a small surge of human pride William found himself using the word 'girlfriend' and not 'mate') went a good way to settling William's nerves on the subject.
He set the coffee mug down on the side, half empty, and stretched slightly, his shirt sleeves rustling. The man's kindness, despite his rather imposing and intimidating appearance, gave William a small part of the friendly confidence he felt around Peri.
"T-then m-maybe we could all meet h-her too?"
He suggest, still smiling.
