Seth sighed, staring at his empty apartment. Luschka was busy that day, and he was still wounded from the hunt earlier that week. The stitches in his side were still there, but he was healing well. He'd finished sharpening his weapons that morning, and had already done a small workout in his room. He couldn't do much more, in fear of tearing the stitches, so he found himself bored.
He'd been here for a little over a week, and he hadn't even really met his neighbors yet. He'd seen them in passing, but hadn't quite yet made that step into introducing himself. It looked like he would be here for a while, so he was starting to think it would be a good idea to at least make a few friends within the town. He wasn't the best at meeting new people, but it looked like he should put a little effort into his people skills.
What the hell do people do when meeting neighbors around here though? When he was in Japan a year ago, he had to take certain dishes to the people around him. This was Romania though.
Screw it, he'd just go over and say hello. He made his way to his door, slipping on a pair of shoes before heading out into the hall. He went to his left, where he'd seen a small man living. He looked friendly enough, and it was a Saturday afternoon. He wasn't sure if the guy was home, but it wouldn't hurt to knock.
So he did. He knocked on the door, feeling suddenly nervous. Dammit.

William was sat on the sofa, reading with his feet propped up slightly on the small coffee table, when he heard the knock at his door.
For a second he paused, a guilty little voice at the back of his head reminding him of the last time, just a few days ago, that he had opened his door, prompting a sixteen-year-old human to start pumping him for werewolf information. That wasn't something he wanted to try again.
But the knock was more regular than the girl's had been, less enthusiastic than Lance's, and Peri herself usually found herself content to barge right on in when she called round. For a second the little voice squeaked that it could be a clan member, having heard about what he'd told the human. But then he doubted they'd knock so politely.
Putting his book down carefully, William stood, stretched and padded towards the door, running a hand nervously through his hair before opening it peer out.
"erm...H-hello?"

Seth gave what he hoped looked like a friendly smile as the door opened just a crack. Not that he could blame the other, since this really wasn't the best apartment complex. The man that he could see was shorter than him, and looked rather nervous. Not that he could really see, since he was just peering out.
He placed a hand on the back of his own head, scratching at his neck sheepishly. "Ah, hi." He glanced at his own door before pointing to it. "Um, my name is Seth Amos. I moved in next door to you a week ago. I just thought I should introduce myself."
That wasn't too hard, was it? He was trying to be as laid back as possible, but he knew he was a little scary looking to most people. He had a rough exterior, and his sheer bulk could be intimidating. He was of average height though, so at least he didn't tower over the short man on the other side of the door.

William blinked up at the tall man, noting his wild black hair and lean body and feeling the creeping sense of intimidation that he usually felt around anyone taller and stronger than he. William and his own werewolf strength were rather at odds with one another.
But a quick surreptitious scan of the man's scent revealed him to be perfectly, harmlessly human. William felt himself relax at this and opened the door more, feeling rather foolish. How could he have imagined this man to be a pack werewolf? He'd be jumping at shadows next.
"heh..S-sorry...I didn't mean to..."
He coughed and pulled at his tie before leaning forward to shake Seth's hand. Lance would be proud, he hoped.
"William...William Hughes. I-it's nice to finally m-meet a new neighbor"

Ah, okay this was going alright. "Nice to meet you. I'm not really sure how long I will be here, but I hope we can get along. If you need anything, just ask." he took quick notice of the stutter, but this guy seemed to at least be nice. Seth tended to be on the quiet side at times, but mostly due to lack of people skills.
"Have you been here long? Any warnings a new tenant should be aware of?" he asked, leaning back and relaxing more as his arms crossed over his chest. Well, not that he really was one for warnings anyways. He'd already set up his own apartment for any surprises, but he wasn't great at small talk.

William prodded the door open fully and smiled wearily up at the man, thinking of his answer.
"O-only the last six years, i-it's strange to have someone new m-moving in"
He felt a nervous little smile grow across his face, thinking of Peri and Otto and the other werewolves he had met. 'Oh yes, it's a lovely place, but watch out for the occasional giant wolf' was what he didn't say.
"a-and if I can survive well enough here...T-then I doubt you should h-have any problems..."

Ah, he opened the door all the way. Well, at least he didn't seem to be fearful of him. He probably just stuttered all the time.
Weird. Ah well.
"Six years?" He couldn't imagine living in one place for so long, he gave a small laugh, "I don't think I will be here that long, but at least I've met a few good people so far. What do you do around here?" He knew Bucharest had a few places to hang out, but he'd spent the past week in the woods mapping out werewolf trails.

Running another hand through his hair, William tried to focus on the advice Lance had given him. Even of his ideas had been centered around women, William was sure that confidence was still key in talking to everyone. He tried to smile again, trying to relax further by giving a brief shrug and a little laugh.
"a-anything one can find; Eden town is hardly a-a lively place. Most things can be found across the river"
He thought briefly of Peri, wondering if that's where she was today.

"Ah, I like the quiet. I had looked at Bucharest, but I prefer staying where it's quiet and visiting the loud places when I want to."
Well what the hell does he do now? He introduced himself, but he was terrible with small talk. Now he felt uncomfortable.
"Um...do you know if the others within the apartment are around? It's a Saturday so I guess most people are out and about? I got hurt a few days ago so I'm not supposed to move around too much."

William felt a familiar blush spread across his cheeks as Seth voiced his own thoughts out loud. "w-well I..erm...I-I hardly know many people h-here myself"
He glanced down the corridor a short way to Peri's closed apartment door, wondering slightly what she would make of William's new, dark haired friend. Flirt endlessly, he imagined, and shook his head.
"w-what happened?"

Seth hesitated a moment, "Hunting accident." he finally decided, "Nothing too bad, I just have stitches so I'm not supposed to go crazy." It wasn't really a good idea to go around saying you were nearly killed by werewolves. That just asked for people to run away from you.
"Do you work in Bucharest?" To be honest, Seth didn't really have an income. He managed to create money through investments, so he didn't really have to work. Not to mention the Amos family had plenty of money.

William nodded, motioning to his suit shirt and tie.
"D-down at the Steel Mill, in the admin office"
He admitted, looking Seth up and down. He wondered if the tall man had any means to make money, if he was staying for such a short time, and what it was he intended to do out here in Romania. But William decided it would be rude to ask; questioning the man about his hunting accident had probably been rather prying enough.
"T-they're always looking f-for workers if you...n-need any...Once your stitches are out...o-of course"
He tried helpfully, feeling that he could at least try and give his new neighbor some advice, rather than stand and stammer at his all morning.

He shook his head, "Ah no, I think I will be fine. I've never been one to hold a steady job anyways, but thanks for the offer." He sometimes earned money when he helped people get rid of werewolf troubles, like the few bills the farmer wife had given him for saving her son. It wasn't why he hunted, but it was another way of income. Being a hunter also gave him money depending on how many kills he makes. Though currently he wasn't even able to do that.
He paused for a second, "Do you always wear a suit even when you aren't working?" that seemed a little odd to him.

His blush reddened at Seth's question, glancing down at his suit again before back up, his expression slightly more defensive than it had been.
"S-sometimes"
He managed, his ears burning. He didn't quite like people questioning his suits; they were his one little link back to the high class life he had enjoyed up until his 20th yeah, and he loathed to wear anything else that might make him feel...Werewolf.
Not that he could easily explain this to Seth without the man thinking him mad. Or worse.

Seth shrugged, "I don't even own a suit. Ah well, at least I know if I ever feel the need to get one you're probably the guy to go to." It was a joke, as he could see that his question had slightly upset Will.
He laughed, "I'd probably look like a bear in a suit if I tried to put one on anyways. I can't pull that look off at all."
