Luschka carried the last box--which was now empty--to the dumpster in the back of her shop. After throwing it out, she returned to her desk and surveyed the scene. Everything was set out neatly and perfectly--just the way she liked it. The violins, cellos, and violas (along with the other orchestra instruments) were put in one section with a tastefully designed sign hanging above the area reading 'orchestration'. The guitars--electric, bass, acoustic, etc.-- were all in another section called nothing other than 'guitars'. And, of course, there were many more sections in her large store including every instrument under the sun.
Easily jumping onto the high front desk with all the cash registers, she smiled and swayed her feet. Her hair was pulled up in her usual perfect high ponytail and she was wearing her tight, dark purple, v-neck t-shirt with short shorts that really emphesized her amazing long legs. She pulled her ponytail around to the front so it rested on her shoulder and she played with her extremely long, platinum blond hair. She looked at her pride and joy--Howling Melodies--and for a second, she felt lonely. The store was incredibly large as it was actually once a warehouse. She sighed and looked down at her still swaying feet.
As if to answer her prayers, she could hear someone walking in. Wait. The store was closed today. She pursed her lips and hopped off the table, deep in thought. She wasn't really paying attention to what was going on as she was lost in her thoughts, but as soon as the stranger got close enough, she realized it wasn't a stranger at all. A familiar smell drifted to her and made her heart skip a beat. Lu lifted her head just in time to see him come around a shelf with piano score sheets on it. She smiled and took a step forward in antisipation.

Seth opened the door to the Howling Melody, poking his head in to glance around. He had healed well over the past couple days, and he no longer needed to laze around his house. He'd managed to find the music store rather easily, and was trying to surprise Luschka with food.
He entered, ignoring the closed sign since he knew he was always a welcome guest. He looked around the large shelves, studying the instruments. He could play well, though he only had his guitar when traveling. He found himself walking down the aisles, coming up to the piano music sheets.
He was wearing blue jeans and a gray shirt. For once, his sleeves were short. The scars on his arms were visible, but he had been around here long enough to know his presence was known.
He heard footsteps, and grinned as Luschka came into his view. He gave a wave with his free hand. "Surprise."

Luschka smiled gleefully and laughed almost drunkly. She practically ran to him and as soon as she reached him, she hugged him tightly. Reluctantly--always reluctantly--she pulled away to look at him. He looked so much better than he had when she had last seen him at his apartment. Then, he had looked horrible. But, man, had he looked sexy. That night was when...well...she was trying not to think about it too much since they had decided to take things slower. But at night, when she was sitting by herself in her bedroom, there was nothing else to think about.
Lu sighed and touched his face. Smiling, she pecked him on the lips again and huckled softly. What a pleasant suprise. She laughed again and took his hand, drawing him to her tall counter. Jumping up onto it she smiled and reached out to stroke his cheek. It had been a few days since she'd seen him last and she was ecstatic to finally see him--to finally touch him. Retracing her hand, worrying she would scare him off by being too intimate, she slapped her theighs. So. What'd ya bring?

He returned the hug, toying with her long hair playfully as she pulled away from him. She was so happy and bubbly, he couldn't help the grin that spread over his normally stern features. He allowed himself to be pulled, though he was trying to avoid knocking over anything from the shelves.
He held up the bag, which had a few plastic bins and plates in it. "Orange chicken. I've been to china, so I know a few home recipes."

Luschka smiled and chuckled happily. Sounds wonderful. Let's dig in, she said with a sort of devilish look on her face. Licking her lips, she breathed in the scent of the chicken and clapped like a seven-year-old. Smells great! Lu laughed and took the bag from him, and at the moment she did, she peeked a look at his face, her light blue eyes wide with both anticipation and desire, to find him looking at her. She blushed softly as her anticipation and desire was of both the chicken and him--which, of course, she knew was wrong. She tried her best to cover her frustration but he always saw through her facades. Pursing her lips, she thought about the last time she had seen him.
They were in his apartment, and for most of the time they were naked. He blush deepened but she shook her head and rubbed her forehead to chase away the thoughts. It didn't fully work. She raised her eyebrows in disbelief of how crazy she was acting. Desprate to get her mind off of anything sexual, she started talking. So how have you been these past few days? I missed you... She thought about what she just said and internally cursed herself. She tried again. How--where--WHAT'S your favorite color? Nice save Lu. Nice. Save, she thought sarcastically to herself. She had practically screamed the last part in an effort to keep herself from saying something insane.

There was amusement dancing in his eyes as he watched Luschka's inner struggle. Her facial expressions were changing, and she was blushing at some points and trying to distract herself by rubbing her forehead.
"I've had a good few days. I think I made a friend, a man named William that lives next door." he answered her first question, smirking at the last comment that had her fumbling for another question.
"My favorite color is green, what is yours?" he had to keep himself from giving a quick retort, with another simple and safe question. Like what's your favorite food?

Luschka nodded at his first answer. She knew who William was. William the british man who was bitten while all his other friends were killed. William, the guy who stutters. William, the guy sort of involved with a woman named Peridot. That William. She smiled a little at his answer. My favorite color is green, too. It's the color of the trees, grasses, and plants--and my birthstone--the emerald. I was born in May. This kind of coincidence would be her undoing. But, sadly, she couldn't avoid this. She had to admit, she thought it was sweet and uncanny that they had the same favorite color.
Lu was just about to reach out and touch him when she realized what she was doing. Damn it! She said in a ferocious tone that was also astonishingly lady-like. Hitting her forehead with the heel of her hand, she groaned and looked at him. You think this is funny, don't you. She raised a perfectly sculpted eyebrow, waiting skeptically for his answer. This lunch was going to be a one to remember no matter what happened.

"My mother's eyes were green, and she often wore green dresses when we went to church on Sunday..." he murmured, giving a shrug before grinning at her antics once again. He reached forward, tracing a finger down her cheek in a teasing manner.
"And yes, I find this hilarious. You're a very easy person to read, Lu." He leaned forward, capturing her mouth in his before he nibbled on her lower lip. He teased her, before pulling away and popping a piece of chicken into his mouth with a grin.

Lu grinned when he confirmed her suspicions, but when he said she was easy to read, she instantly became serious. He did not just say that. Then he kissed her and that was sure as hell forgotten. When he nibbled on her bottom lip it was so hard to keep from moaning--but she surpressed it successfully. When he pulled away and put the chicken in his mouth she gave him an 'are you kidding me?!' look and hopped down from the counter. Woah, woah, woah. Don't think you're going to get away with that! Listen, if you're going to kiss me, you better not stop.
All pretences of not caring what happened disappeared and she was completely focused on him--all food forgotten. She pushed the food to the side and grabbed the collar of Seth's shirt gently. She smirked and tilted her head. Man, do I want him. She knew she most likely wouldn't be getting him right now, but she had to be honest with herself, right? She cupped one side of Seth's face in her hand and pursed her perfect lips. If I'm so easy to read....what am I thinking now? She grinned, part of her wanting him to get it, the other part not.

He looked down at her hands gripping at his collar, a fake surprised look on his face. "I said I can read your emotions, not read your mind." he retorted, leaning forward to peck at her nose.
"And right now, the orange chicken I spent all morning making is no longer on the top of your priority list."

Scarlet had been gone into town for a few hours. Unaware of the danger she would be running into. Since she hadn't really thought about anything werewolves, the red haired woman had left her weapons at her ranch with the horses and drove her truck into town. Walking out of the store, she walked a few feet before she heard a low growl. By instinct she stopped and reached down to her boots. But then she realized, all her stuff was at home. Shit.. she thought, dropping her stuff and took off.
She turned down an ally before she realized it was a dead in. She turned back to the entrance and stopped when she saw the wolf. It was coming towards her and she was defenseless...for once. The wolf, snapped at her and she moved back screaming. The first time she showed fear..to another and she was screaming.

Luschka was just about to kiss him when she head something that turned her body freezing cold from inside out. A blood curdling scream followed my a fierce growl. She knew Seth wouldn't be able to hear it as well as she could, but she knew he could. It was that close. In fact, it sounded like it was coming from behind her shop. She immediately let go of Seth's shirt and instinctively shot out of the room towards the sound. She had moved with such speed it was inhuman. Whipping open the heavy metal door like it was made of feathers she ran to the sound of a human and werewolf struggling. This was what she had been trying to avoid all along. This was the choice she had been trying to avoid all along. Who was she going to protect?
Lu swallowed hard and closed her eyes before pressing her fingers to her temples. This was unbelievable. She was already starting to quake violently. Opening her eyes, they were no longer human. Nor were they wolf though. They were just Luschka. She whimpered. Her first instinct was a pack instinct and it was to protect the wolf, but then she onew that was not right. The wolves did not have any right to do this. She looked back at Seth and frowned. I'm sorry. She said before quickly stripping down to her panties and bra. Then she did it. She changed. She ran toward the wolf and the girl, jumped in the air, and within an instant she was the incredibly large white wolf she was.
She barrelled through the ally right towards the girl and the wolf. The wolf thought she was helping him. Think again bastard!!! [/b] She slammed right into the large drake, catching him off guard and knocking him off of Scarlet. She bared her teeth at the male and he returned the look. Lu lifted her large paw, extended her razor-sharp claws and slashed at him. She scratched across his face and he yelped but quickly rebounded by biting her on the back of her neck, waiting for her to show a sign of respect or that he was dominant. No such luck. Luschka bit down on his leg and twisted until she heard a snap. And then a yelp. The wolf fell but he brought her down with him. Damn, she was going to have some hell of a scar! She managed to slash his face again and he released her. She was breathing heavily and her once perfectoy white fur was now stained red with both their blood. She looked him in the eyes and growled before clamping down on his windpipe and choking him to death. She stood there. The adreniline slowly faded and the back of her neck started to hurt like hell. She slowly sank to the ground a few feet away from the dead wolf, all of her energy gone. She knew she was probably going to die now as there were two werewolves that had just saw her change. Not that she would put up a fight. She changed back to her human form and lay there, bleeding, naked. She fourced herself to get up despite the rapid gushing of blood from the back and sides of her neck. She slowly walked to her pile of clothes and got dressed. She looked at them and hung her head, closing her eyes, waiting to die.[/center]

Seth raised a curious brow when Luschka suddenly froze. It then turned to a dark look when he could hear a faint scream, not too far away. Before he could make a move though, Luschka had darted from him and shot out of the room. He had noticed that she was quick, but that movement was all too familiar to him. He felt a weight begin to settle in his chest, but brushed it aside as he raced after them. He wasn’t supposed to be fighting yet, but that wasn’t going to stop him.
When he caught up to her, he felt the weight grow heavier as she apologized and turned. He couldn’t help the pained expression on his face, before it turned to one of rage. He had been betrayed and lied to. She knew he was a hunter, and probably his family history, yet she still approached him?
His jaw clenched, and he jogged towards the other human that had been attacked. He knelt down next to her, eyes quickly making an assessment until he saw that she had not been bitten, nor did she look hurt. “You okay?” he asked, turning to watch as Luschka choked the other wolf out. When she changed back into a human, his expression was cold. All signs of the kindhearted Seth had disappeared, and he appeared like he did to all werewolves. Like an Amos.
He felt his fingers brushing against the knives strapped to pant leg, and halted himself. He grit his teeth, “Just go.”

Luschka opened her eyes slowly, in surprise. Was he kidding? Seth Amos had never spared a werewolf. Now she really looked at him, the man she loved. The one who probably hated her now. She looked to Scarlet and bowed her head a little. I'm sorry this had to happen to you. It doesn't happen often...only when the loners feel threatened. I truely am sorry that happened--especially when you were unarmed....Damn loner.... She said the last part mostly to herself as she truely did hate most loners--but of course she'd give them a chance in the beginning. That one was a tough fighter....
Then, she turned back to Seth. She couldn't look him in the eyes. She knew that, by him, she had done something wrong. But honestly, she was proud of herself. She protected the human. The werewolf hunter. She thought about it again. Would she have protected the woman if she were armed....? Yes. No doubt. Lu returned her attention on Seth though. She had to look into his eyes. So she did. They were cold. Barren. Empty. Amos. She felt a tear slip from her eye and slowly trail down her cheek. She was just exiting her shock. There. Now she fully understood what had happened. She had just killed one of her kind for attacking a werewolf hunter. Her werewolf hunter boyfriend--and mate--saw her change. Into a WOLF. He knew. He probably hated her now. He most likely wanted to kill her. Tears started flowing and her brow creased. No. She forced the tears to stop and she focused on him. So now you know. You know what I am. Who I am.I'm Luschka Desmile, Beta Female. I'm sorry for not telling you. I really am! But you have to understand that I wanted to get to know you--and how could I do that if I was dead?! I meant everything I ever said to you. Everything....
Lu was at first in denial. Then she grew upset. Then angry. Then regretful. She said too much. She did too much. She didn't regret saving the hunter though. Humans deserve to live. Werewolves are against nature--creatures of the devil. Well, that's what everyone thinks at least. But how could that be if Luschka just saved a very hunter that one day could have possibly tried to kill her? She had known who Scarlet was and she still saved her! She knew who Seth was when she stitched him and had sex with him...eiy that just sounds crazy. Lu sighed, wiped at her eyes and decided to follow his orders and just leave. She was loosing a lot of blood and she was growing dizzy. She was going to have to see Samuel... She turned and started to walk inside the store when one of them called to her.

Falling to the ground as the wolf attacked her. She tried her best to not get bitten, which she didn't but he was scratching her and pain was taking over her body. It was then she saw another wolf coming towards her and the wolf and she rolled her eyes, All hell... she thought, but then she saw the wolf attack the one that had been attacking her. Blinking for a moment, Scarlet seemed frozen in her spot watching the two wolves fight each other. She looked up to see a man asking if she was alright.
Standing up, she nodded, "Yes, I'm fine." she said, watching as the white wolf changed back into a girl. She looked from the two people, and noticed the cold stare the man was giving the girl and how the girls own expression seemed to change. Scarlet couldn't believe it however. A werewolf had saved her and all her life...she had believed them to be a curse from the devil. Maybe they all weren't..?
At first, Scarlet just let the girl leave, walk away without a thank you. But no, Scarlet wasn't like. "I maybe a hunter myself, but she saved my life. I won't let that be forgotten." she said, before taking off after the girl, ignoring the pain. "Luschka, wait!" she said, catching up to the girl easily. "Let me help you with that wound. I owe you for saving my life."
