"You're weird." he said, though it sounded more like a statement than an actual insult. Then again, he wasn't really a shy person. He said what he wanted to say, and it often was something the other person didn't want to hear. He couldn't comprehend what being shy was like, so it came off as weird to him.
At her question, he slipped the bag that was slung over his shoulder onto his lap. He opened it, pulling out sketchbook before offering it to her. He only used charcoals and graphites, and it was filled with scenery that he came across. It all hard harsh tones and lines, giving each drawing a dark appearance. He had never had art lessons, since his parents stopped providing him money long ago. "Scenery." he stated, though he had tried to draw people as well. His mother had found them though, and had screamed at the distorted and dark figures. After tearing them apart and kicking him out of the house, he decided to stop drawing people. "I don't sleep much, so I draw to pass the time."
He rubbed at his eyes at the word sleep, the ache behind them having faded a while ago.

She blushed slightly, but it vanished quickly. Azuki shrugged, "I guess so." she said, glancing over at his sketchbook. Slowly, she took it from him when he offered it and looked through it. The drawings she saw had dark appearances that drew her in and she couldn't quite escape. Blinking, she trailed a finger across it softly, feeling the charcoal come off and rub onto her finger. Azuki moved her hand away and looked a the charcoal that had came off. She looked down at the drawings to make sure that none of them were ruined and handed the sketchbook back to Blayde.
"I like them. I draw sometimes to, when I get bored." she said, tilting her head at him. There were times that she drew on her spare time or when she couldn't sleep either. Especially after her mothers death, Azuki couldn't sleep and it eventually brought her down and even now, there were times that she couldn't sleep because of the nightmares that she had. "Sorry that you don't sleep much. I know how that feels."

He scoffed, giving a shake of his head as he took the sketchbook back from her. HD flipped to an empty page and pulled out a stick of charcoal. He looked toward the bridge, tilting his head as his hand began to stroke it against the paper. "Don't feel sorry, it will only piss me off."
He glanced at her, seeming to size her up. "Anything exciting around here? Or do you get bored often?"

She nodded, and bit her lip to make sure she didn't say sorry again like she was about to. "Okay, I won't say sorry again." she said, leaning towards the water and putting her fingers in it slightly. She heard movement against paper and looked over to see him drawing and glancing over at her. When she noticed that he had glanced over at her, Azuki blushed slightly before shaking her head.
"Yea, sometimes I sneak out and go to the Stables whenever I can." she said. Azuki loved going to the stables, all of those horses and she would just sit there and draw each one of them. They were beautiful creatures to her, and she enjoyed their company. "I bet with someone new in town, it might get 'exciting'." she whispered, still messing around with the water.

Within a few seconds the image of the old bridge had appeared on the paper. In the water, the reflection became distorted to show eyes staring back through the surface. "I don't see the point of apologizing unless you mean it. Like when you're a kid and you get scolded and forced into it." He chuckled, "I always refused, saying I wasn't going to lie."
he could see her visibly relax when talking about horses. He'd never been around the animals, since they weren't common in the city. He didn't feel much attachment towards animals either, but he didn't have any as a kid.
He gave a short, airy laugh at her. "Sneak out? What, are you fifteen or something?"

She laughed slightly, but she couldn't tell him why she has to sneak out especially when Eclipse found out that she had did so in the first place. "No I am not sixteen or fifteen. I'm actually eighteen, but you wouldn't understand why..it's hard to explain anyways." She said, glancing at him side way. There was something about him that she liked, but she couldn't quite understand what it was about him that did.
Azuki shurgged, "I guess I see what your saying. Then again...maybe I don't." she said, shrugging at him. She looked over at his drawing and smiled, "I like it by the way."

"You can have it when I'm done then." He tended to just give them out, since it was more of a hobby for him. Sometimes he was commissioned, which was how he had managed to travel here from Germany. It helped get rid of the ache his mind suffered, which was all he really wanted.
"I've never been one to follow the rules like a mindless drone. I have a conscious, of course, but sometimes rules were meant to be broken." He began to work on the background, with the trees along the river bank. He drew a wolf, peering from behind a bush. It's fur was rough and jagged, the fangs dripping. "I'm older, by the way, kiddo"

"Really? No one's ever given me their drawings before." she said, blushing slightly. Of course, Azuki had other very famous artists but no one else. She listened to him while he drew, and she enjoyed being near him...for some odd reason. Azuki moved closer to him a bit, and looked at his drawing. She saw a wolf, and her mind went to her own drawings. They were full of wolves, humans and even both humans and wolves. Her imagination went wild and went towards the peace of both races co-existing without any trouble or fear.
She really liked his drawing, they were enchanting and dark. It pulled her in even if he was a stranger. "Do you like wolves, Blayde?" she asked, pointing to the wolf in his drawing. She smiled at him slightly, "Age is only a number in my book, Geezer." she said, jokingly.

He gave her a light shove at her insult, just a nudge of his elbow. "Ha." he said, shaking his head at being called a geezer. He glanced at her when she asked him about wolves though, growing silent for a moment.
"I did like wolves when I was younger, but I hunt werewolves now." He finally said, his hand pausing over the creature in the drawing. He moved away from it though when he continued, creating a clouded sky. "Hard to say what I like anymore these days. I've only been hunting for a couple of years, though."

She smiled at him when he elbowed her and she elbowed him back playfully. But then she heard two words. Hunting werewolves. Those words made her heart freeze and skip beats uncountable. She had been right, her instincts had told her that Blayde was a werewolf hunter and now he had confirmed her theory. She swallowed her fear, and looked down at the drawing, her eyes lingering on the wolf. "If you don't mind me asking..what made you dislike wolves..werewolves especially.." Azuki didn't want to hear his answer, but knew she had already asked the question and now, her curiosity had spiked.
She glanced up at him with her icy blue eyes and smiled slightly, "I'm sure you can find something you would like one of these days." she said, looking back at the drawing before leaning back and looking up at the sky. He wasn't the first hunter she had run into, there are been many. Many that she had killed or had attacked because they were trying to kill her or had trapped her friend Sani. But now, she was talking to one and it wasn't as bad as she would've thought. Azuki actually liked Blayde, even if he was a werewolf hunter.

He stopped drawing completely, the pain behind his eyes returning at the thought of his family. "A werewolf tore my family apart and abused my mother. I tried to stop it, and somehow killed him." he finally said, his deep voice sounding pained. It was as if it was physically harming him to speak. He didn't go into detail exactly how his family life was like though. He didn't tell strangers something quite so personal.
Werewolves tearing apart families wasn't very new though. They were creatures that were strong. Many human women fancied the thought of falling in love with a werewolf man. It made him feel like throwing up. Their fantasies were jaded and misguided.
He went back to drawing, "I like spicy things."

"Oh..I'm sorry to hear that.. I know what it's like to lose family..." she said, remembering her mothers horrified face as she was murdered by a hunter. Azuki looked back at the water, her mind remembering that day and how it was all of her fault that her mother had been killed instead of her. How the boy who had saved her life because he loved her..had died right in front of her. Just thinking about them, made her zone out and her hand start to trail a long the ground like she was drawing in her room.
When she felt skins against clothing, Azuki jumped and blinked slightly. She hadn't realized that she had been close to him when she zoned out and now she had moved away from him a bit. At first, Azuki didn't want to be around him, didn't want to take her chances at getting hurt or worse...killed by him, but she couldn't or wouldn't as you would say. "Spicy things..?" she asked, confused slightly. She had completely forgotten on what she had said to him before Azuki had zoned out.

From what she said, he could guess that she had lost a parent. He didn't know how to respond to that, since his were alive. They just treated him like he was dead, so he wasn't sure which was worse. To have parents that wish you were dead, or to have dead parents. It was a debate he knew both sides were losing.
She zoned out, though he enjoyed the silence and continued to draw. When she finally snapped out of it, he had finished. "You said I would find things that I like. I like spicy food." he was talking slowly, as if he was making fun of her before tearing the sketch from his sketch book. He paused, scribbling his signature Blade Reid in the corner. He blew on it carefully to get rid of any lurking charcoal before offering it to her.

She glared at him when he talked to her slowly, a mocking smile forming on her lips. She looked down at the finished drawing and took it from him softly. She didn't want it to be ruined, and she was going to cherish it for a lifetime. "Thank you.." she said softly, smiling at him a bit. He seemed like a nice guy...so far...and right now she was ignoring the fact that he was a hunter and she was a werewolf. Two enemies...getting a long. Oh how Eclipse would have a life about this if he found out that she had been out(again) and had found a friend with a werewolf hunter. Or at least she thought he was a friend to her. He hadn't tried to do anything yet..
"We have restaurants here. Some of them have spicy food, that you could have." she said, sitting up and studying her new picture. The wolf still reminded her of herself, but oh well, right now she wasn't going to worry about that. "Why don't I take you to one of them and let you try some of their spicy foods? I'll pay if necessary." she said, tanking up and smiling down at him slightly.

He frowned slightly. Did he look poor or something? Well, he was, but he didn't think it was obvious. He'd managed to find a rundown place to live in for a while, but he'd have to figure out an income fast if he wanted to stay...well, fed. He had trouble keeping stable jobs, because he was terrible at catering to other people's needs.
Well, that and he was rarely in a good mood for long. "You're welcome, and I wouldn't mind joining you for lunch sometimes."
