The rich, spicy smells of the Chinese restaurant hit William's nose as soon as he stepped into the airy, red lit room. Dressed in his slightly rumpled suit (having reminded himself to take a long over-due trip to the dry cleaners the next day, and buy some transforming-suitable clothes on the way, having now lost two suits to impromptu changing in the woods) and mud splattered shoes, he felt almost as under-dressed as he had in Bucharest the previous week.
what he wanted was to find Peri; she hadn't been in her apartment when he had knocked to check on her this morning, and he knew that the Red Dragon was where she worked. He hoped that her wounds had healed up enough by now, and silently scolded himself for worrying so much when he knew how quickly werewolves healed.
Stepped fully into the crowded room, he gazed around. Trying to spot over the tops of people's heads, standing slightly on the tips of his toes and cursing his short stature as he did so. He wondered if there was anyone he could ask...And hoped that nobody mistook his intentions and showed him to a table; there was not a chance that he'd be able to pay for anything on the Red Dragon's menu.

Michelle was walking at a leisurely pace, taking in all of Eden Town as she strolled down the quaint little road. After being used to a huge city, this little Town was really small in her eyes. Nonetheless she was already starting to like it her. After arriving by bus last night she had met Azuki which brought the total of people she knew here up to one… She chuckled at the thought and put her hands in her pockets as she walked, emerald eyes intent on every little detail around her as she daydreamed. Her tummy announced her hunger in a gurgling rumble only she could hear and Michelle looked around her. Up ahead was a restaurant, The Red Dragon. She had never eaten Chinese food before and with a little hesitation she entered. The spicy smells hit her full on the moment she entered and she unintentionally starting breathing more shallow, attempting to breathe in as little of that smell as possible. She had her casual skinny jeans on with a plain purple hoodie, which did little to hide her natural beauty. She was no perfect Jane though, Michelle had a very rash personality. Many people gathered within the Red Dragon and Michelle figured this was a good a place as any to meet new people. She suddenly felt a presence behind her and spun around to gaze straight into the eyes of a man who was looking for something, or someone… “Excuse me, but you’re in my personal space.”

William jumped as the young woman suddenly whirled round to meet his gaze, her tone making him cringe back, blushing heavily. He wanted to point out that, with the Red Dragon being as packed as it was, practically everyone would be in her personal space.
But that would be impolite, and William wasn't one to enjoy a lack of proper manners. Instead he tried to smile, his lower lip trembling slightly as he stood back a few steps more.
"I-I am f-frightfully sorry"
He stammered, still blushing down at the floor.
"t-that was certainly n-not what I was meaning t-to do..."

The man practically looked like he would melt just then and there and inevitably Michelle felt the guilt creep up her spine. Her gaze fell to the floor for a short moment as he spoke of being sorry and that he hadn’t meant it. Looking around she noticed how close it was and that everyone would inevitably be in her personally space. With a short sigh she squared her shoulders and gazed back up at him, emerald eyes now holding a hint of sorry, “I’m sorry for being so blunt and impolite. I guess I’m just a little tired. My name’s Michelle. Who are you?”

Running a slightly shaking hand nervously through his hair, William accepted the apology with a nod and a small smile, his sharp little teeth glinting in the red light.
"W-William, William Hughes"
He replied, offering the same hand to shake as he stepped a little closer to the woman, allowing a silk-dressed waitress to scoot past on her way to a table. He hoped he wasn't obstructing anyone, standing, as he was, almost right in the doorway.
"I-It's not a problem"
He continued, his blush fading a small amount as the initial shock and worry began to wear off.

Michelle kept a close eye on the stranger before her as awkwardness started to settle in. On the other hand why was he so nervous? He was obviously looking for someone and this made Michelle expect the worst. Something scaly was going on and she seemed to be caught up right in the middle of it. He ran his hand nervously through his hair, smiling with odd pointy teeth he spoke his name; William Hughes. Odd that his name was the same as her surname.
He reached out his hand and Michelle shook it politely even as he stepped closer as a waitress scooted passed him. She was starting to regret having chosen to come to such a crowded place. She continued,
“Are you looking for something or someone?”

William glanced up at the question, slipping his hands awkwardly into his pockets and nodding shyly. He wondered if this woman would be able to help him- he doubted very highly if Peri knew everyone in Eden town, abut she seemed to be out almost every night, and was a highly social animal- rather a large number of people must of heard of her...whether for good reasons or not... He nodded.
"I-I am...Peridot Hastings? S-she's...w-well, she works here"
He motioned around the bustling building with his free hand, taking in the full extent of the packed place and the unlikeliness of finding anyone, anyone at all, even a red dressed waitress, in the crowd.

Williams nodded and said he was looking for Peridot, one of the girls who worked here. Ofcoarse Michelle had no idea who she was since she had been here only one day now, but if nothing else, it confirmed that he wasn’t up to any other sort of trouble, but even still she remained wary,
“Sorry I don’t know her. Wish I could help… Wait if she’s in here we can find her? I’ll help you look?”

William sighed softly and shook his head, the smells of the many different spices and foods being made and consumed, along with the crush of people- human and werewolf- weaving in and out of the small round tables, made it impossible to even scent if the woman was inside. And even if he did find her, he doubted he'd get anything less than a tongue lashing for worrying about her.
"T-thank you, f-for the kind offer though"
He said, offering Michelle another nervous smile

William looked really lost and Michelle found herself worrying about him, which was odd for her since she rarely cared about people and on top of that she didn’t even known him all that long. He shook his head and looked somewhat defeated and also just as anxious as Michelle felt. She knew what could work to help him relax somewhat and after he thanked her she spoke, flicking her auburn hair out of her eyes,
“Care to join me for a walk outside? This place is going to be the death of both of us by the look of things.”

William's ears perked up somewhat at this request; the cold air outside would certainly be a welcome change from the hot stuffiness of the Red Dragon. Unable to distinguish again from the mixture of overlapping scents, whether or not the woman in front of him was human or werewolf, William decided that either way he wanted no more trouble from either of the species, and decided that a tactful retreat might be in order if anything...happened.
Unless, by some happy chance, Michelle was in some way connected to Validus, then William knew he would at least have a friend to talk to about the overwhelming suddenness of that little sidetrack. At any rate, William's own gentleman aspirations- not to mention the ever lurking presence of Lance- meant that he couldn't refuse the offer. He nodded, a slight edge of relief in his voice as he replied;
"Y-yes...Thank you...I-I mean...heh...L-lead the way"

William seemed to mull over Michelle’s offer and then finally nodded and replied, thanking her and telling her to lead the way. Michelle found him somewhat fascinating and on the other hand he could tell her more about the little Town since she didn’t know much. Turning around she almost ran out the door. She could no longer take the crowds and the moment the fresh air hit her she felt more alive than she had ever been. Her auburn hair drifted in the soft breeze and the cold was welcoming, no matter that she hated the cold. Michelle could tell William was equally relieved and when he too came outside she spoke in a soft voice,
“I’m new her, so I guess you should rather lead.”
She looked at the ground for a moment and then back up and continued,
“So… Do you mind telling me a bit more about the Town?”

With the cold night air whistling around them, William felt himself begin to relax- here he could track and run, allow the not too distant smells of the forest to wash over him. He trotted beside the woman, looking up at her with a shy smile as she explained her position. He could tell now, out here with no distractions of confusing scents doubling back one another, that Michelle was most definitely, undisputed human. A human that smelt of travel and...newness...
He wasn't quite sure what he thought of this; whether it was relief or a small plunging sense of disappointment, but he still chuckled lightly as she asked her next question.
"W-well...w-what would you l-like to know?"

William’s chuckle was quite welcoming and Michelle chuckled shortly as well when he asked her what she wanted to know. She had no idea where to start and so she started with him,
“Well how did you end up in this town?”
OOC: Sorry, real short but what else can she say?

"e-erm...Well...I-I"
William paused, having to think this over before replying. Never a good lier, he knew he was going to have to tell the woman only a few select edited highlights of his arrival in Eden town; 'oh yes well; I settled down after nearly being slaughtered by a pack of werewolves in the nearby woods, as one does' Was not something one says to a lady that one has just met, at least, if one wants to remain sane in her eyes.
"o-oh well...I-I traveled around this part of Romania in m-my University years...a-and I...W-well...I-I quite fell in love with the place"
He chuckled, a small sense of his own pathetic irony creeping in.
"i-it's almost a-as if I can't leave"
He coughed and glanced up at Michelle, a curious look in his eyes.
"Y-you said you've j-just arrived...w-where have you t-traveled from? I-If you don't mind my asking..."
