He watched her as she left, head tilting and giving her a comical expression as she started to settle down on the floor. Did she really think that he was going to make her sleep on the floor? It was at times like this that he realized just how sheltered she had been raised. "You're not sleeping on the floor, Azuki." he said, reaching a hand and grabbing her pillow. He placed it on the couch with his before reaching forward and bringing her onto the couch with him. He laid on his side, giving her enough room before one of his arms loosely rested across her.
"This is how couples sleep on couches together, silly girl. This is more comfortable than the floor, right?"

When he told her that she wasn't going to be sleeping on the floor, Azuki gave him a confused look. She didn't know how couples slept. Didn't know what it was like to be with someone that cared for you because you were yourself around them. She never had that kind of experience. She went to get her pillow but found it was already gone by the time her hand reached the floor. Azuki went to go and say something but found herself on the couch with Blayde. Sighing softly, she moved closer to him and put a hand on.his chest. "Alright, I admit it is more comfortable here than the floor." she said, smiling up at him. She felt his arm lay on her loosely and she smiled again. It felt nice to have someone that would cold her even if she didn't want to be held. And right now...she did.

He squirmed a bit to get into a more comfortable position before giving a long exhale as he relaxed into his pillow. He pulled her in more possessively now, pressing his lips to the top of her head before shutting his eyes. "Couples also do other things at night, but I think we will wait until later lessons for that." he teased. He was just too tired now and drained from his nightmare. Any other woman and he'd probably pounce, but he just wanted to sleep.
And he never just wanted to sleep.

Putting her head on his chest, Azuki heard him exhale and relax before pulling her close. She glanced up at him when he spoke of other things that couples did, but said that they would wait until later for that. She smiled at him before settling down. He seemed in peace and Azuki didn't want to disturb that by asking him to many questions. Sighing, Azuki closed her eyes and settled close to him. Slowly, she began to drift off to sleep. The smell of Blayde drifting around her and she smiled before Azuki finally fell asleep to the beat of his heart in her ear.

Hours later, Blayde stirred. It had been years since he remembered sleeping that deeply without medication. He was confused at first until he felt the slow rise and fall of Azuki as she breathed beside him. He stretched before bringing in the warm body next to him close again.
"Morning, Snow White." he teased, eyes cracking open. For once his eyes didn't have an aching pain behind them, though the dark circles under his eyes wouldn't disappear over night.

She heard a voice and at first, Azuki thought it was a voice in her head. In her dream, but then she realized. It wasn't. Blinking when she felt the war ness for a body next to her, those blue eyes opened and looked up to see Blayde looking at her. She smiled at the nickname he gave her. Snow White. It was interesting and made her blush. "Morning hot shot." she said, reaching up and ruffling his hair. She moved closer to him and sighed heavily. She had slept amazing, better than she had before she met Blayde. Slowly, she stretched and yawned, blinking her eyes multiple times before she looked at him again.
"How did you sleep love?"

"Like a log, and that's something." his voice was huskier due to his morning grogginess. "I think I could get in the habit of this, though next time I don't think we need to sandwich ourselves on the couch."
The ruffling of his hair didn't help it, for the part that he had been sleeping on was plastered to the side of his face. If Azuki could have bad fur days, then every day was a bad hair day for Blayde.

"That's good. I'm glad you were able to actually sleep for once." she said, snuggling up in his chest as she enjoyed hearing his voice. Even though it was husky due to his morning grogginess. Azuki still enjoyed it. Chuckling slightly, Azuki nodded before she stay up and stretched herself. Wow, she had a good night's sleep for once and now, she believed that she could get used to being next to him in her sleep.
Looking over to him with a smile on her face, she nodded. "Next time we'll sleep on my bed. So that we aren't sandwiched together on the couch." she said, standing up. "Well, why don't we get something to eat. I'm starving." she said, pushing herself up from the couch and going towards the kitchen. Her black curly hair was everywhere. Covering her face and everything. It was beautiful, but messy. |

He couldn't help the chuckle at her messy hair. It seemed like both of them had hair with a mind of its own. "A bed sounds nice," when was the last time he slept in one? "And breakfast sounds even better." he stood up as well, stretching again with a wide yawn.
"I'm craving bacon in maple syrup." he paused, wondering if that sounded like something a pregnant woman would say. Like pickles and ice cream? His feet followed after her, shuffling against the floor as he entered the kitchen. Blayde wasn't a terrible cook, but he mostly only knew what to make in order to make it through another day. Simple stuff.

Azuki chuckled at him when he yawned. She had to admit however, he looked better than he had when they first met. Was it because he had actually gotten sleep?Azuki shook her head at him, "Silly boy. Lucky enough I have bacon, and maple syrup." she said, pulling the bacon out and then the maple syrup. She set it down on the counter before opening the fridge. "How about some eggs too?" she asked.
Pulling out some orange juice, Azuki put it on the counter before she jumped up on the counter to get some glasses for them both. Going to jump off the counter, Azuki misjudged where she was and nearly lost her balance as she jumped off. Luckily she was close to the counter and Blayde, so she found her support quickly. "Clumsily me. I'm so clumsily in the morning." she said, chuckling at herself as she poured the orange juice into the glasses. |

"Woah, bacon and maple syrup go well together. Don't put something down just because it's a little unhealthy." he grinned, a devilish smirk that was more mischievous than anything. "But sure, I think I can manage some eggs as well."
When she nearly fell landing from the counter, Blayde laughed slightly at it. She hopped up like it was something everybody does, and raised a brow at chuckle. "Are you sure it wasn't on purpose just to have an excuse to grab me?

Azuki took a sip of her drink before nearly chocking on it because he had made her laugh. She smirked at him and handed his drink to him. "I try to eat healthy dear. Since you know, most people think werewolves eat humans." she said, shaking her head at herself. How could people think so wrongly of werewolves? They weren't ugly beasts of the night that killed humans for their food. Putting her drink down, Azuki turned and pulled out the eggs and pulled out pans to cook the food for him. Or them. Putting a pan on the oven, she turned the gas on and started to put the bacon on it. Now for the eggs.
Going over to a cabinet, she pulled out a small bowl and started to crack the eggs into it. Slowly, Azuki stirred the eggs and added the ingredients as she went. Smiling, she looked over to Blayde, "Maybe it was dear. Maybe I like being able to touch you." she said, giving him her own mischievous grin. She really did like being near him. Finally, she put the eggs in the pan, cooked them and the bacon. Staying with her mother for so long, Azuki cooked all the time. So she was fairly good.

Blayde moved about the kitchen, making sure to stay out of her way as he did the easy stuff like making toast and getting out the plates. He sipped at his orange juice tentatively, since he didn't really have it growing up. He found that he liked it though and then gulped down half the glass. "There's a reason why animals don't normally eat humans in the first place. Don't we taste bad or something?" he jokingly chomped on his arm before giving a disgusted look. "Being werewolf doesn't strip away all of your humanity, I wouldn't think either."
He peered over her shoulder at the food, giving her neck a quick kiss before pouring himself some more orange juice. His stomach gurgled loudly at the smell of the breakfast.

"I guess it really depends if we are blood thirsty." she said, turning around and gave him a teasing look. Honestly, she couldn't think of eating a human. The we're part of her and that wouldn't be right. Azuki laughed at him when he bit his arm before giving a disgusted look towards her. In all honestly, Azuki had never killed nor bitten an innocent hum. Now werewolf hunters....they were different, they came after her. Shaking her head at him, Azuki turned back and finished her cooking. She smelled the toast he was making and the heard the glass of orange juice he was pouring again for himself. Wow, it must've really liked it.
Azuki felt the kiss on her neck and had to suppressed and shiver before she turned around and put the eggs in a different bowl. Now that the eggs were done she could finish the bacon. "I take it you like the orange juice?" she asked. Finally, she finished the bacon and put it on a plate, before pulling out the maple syrup. Slowly, Azuki moved back and smiled over at him, "And breakfast is served."

He raised a brow in questioning at her comment on the orange juice. "I...didn't really get fed as a kid so there are still a lot of things I haven't tried before. I've heard horror stories of drinking orange juice before brushing your teeth as well. It threw me off drinking it in the morning." He only had faint memories of his mother cooking for him when both his parents were together, but after their separation he had to scavenge the fridge for edible food. His mother would cook for the werewolf man, but Blayde never got to eat with them. His father had turned into a drunk, so the most that was at his father's house was bourbon and whiskey.
"Smells good though, thanks." he complimented as they sat down to eat. He put the bacon on his plate as well as the eggs before pouring maple syrup on all of it.
He had a sweet tooth, and figured if maple syrup was good on bacon eggs couldn't be bad either.
