"Don't worry hotshot, I won't let you fall." she said, seeing his smirk. Azuki laughed at him, and shook her head. "They won't. I can actually take you by there sometime if you want. Give you something to do while you stay here." she said, smiling at him again. Of course, horses could step on someone's foot while they were walking them, or nip at that person cause they were completely bored, but Azuki hadn't ever been sent to the hospital by one.
Azuki nodded at him. Of course, her mother had wrote novels and many were published. It was the only reason Azuki was able to live without having to live out on a bench. "I don't like asking for help, it makes me think I'm weak or can't take care of myself. I mean, I don't mind the help and I'd gladly help anyone else..I just don't like asking for it." she said, twirling her hair with finger again. Azuki smirked and chuckled at him, "Then eat whatever you want. I don't mind." she said, smiling at him again.

He just shook his head, knowing that if he was going to fall off a horse he probably would. Horses were large animals that he just didn't know, and things he didn't know about tended to get at him one way or another. It didn't mean he wasn't going to try though.
"It's not a bad thing to ask for help when you need it though. It's nice that your mom was able to leave you with something though. Sort of like with art, books are a part of the writer." Well, that's what he figured. He wasn't really into deep emotional conversations.
His stomach rumbled at her comment as the plate was set in front of him. There was a large bowl of beef stew, with lumps of potatoes and other vegetables in it. The plate had a orange colored rice, with beans and corn on the side as well. He inhaled, enjoying the different aromas before taking a large bite. "Ack!" he quickly swallowed, his tongue emerging from his mouth as he waved at it. "Hot..." he let out a stream of curses under his breath. The steam from his plate seemed to laugh at him, he had been too eager to eat.

"I'll remember that. Yea, I guess it is. Those books are pretty much the only thing that I have left of my mother." she said, glancing up at him in time to see his tongue stick out and steam coming off of his food. Azuki laughed at him and gave him a shake of her head and a chuckle. "You know, it probably just came out of the oven or off the stove, Blayde." she said, leaning towards him a bit.
Leaning back, Azuki took a sip of her drink before looking up at the waitress as she returned back. "Can I have some grapes, and bring my friend here more water. He needs it." she said, as her eyes looked over at Blayde. A slight smile and playful look in her features appeared, she couldn't help it. He made her laugh, no one could do that. He was able to put a smile on her face, and no one had ever been able to do that...not even Eclipse.

He just glared at her mocking him, reaching into his glass and taking out an ice cube before popping it into his mouth. He rolled it over his tongue, before stirring at his stew to make it cool faster. "Who's acting like the geezer now?" he finally retorted, smirking as he crunched through the ice cube.
He took another forkful, this time making a display of blowing on it to cool it down before placing it into his mouth. His eyes seemed to roll back, and he sunk back into his seat as the flavors rolled onto his tongue. He could taste the hot peppers and cumin, as well as a hint of cilantro within the beef.
He would be a gourmet if he could. "This is so good." He piled another helping onto his fork, offering to her from across the table. One hand was hovering below in case it fell off. "Here, take a bite."

Azuki smiled at him when he said the word geezer. Yes, she was acting older than her age..for once..but she did have a point. She shrugged, "I'm making a point, aren't I?" she said, winking at him playfully. She watched take another forkful, and display that he had learned his lesson and blew on it. Azuki smirked at him, "You don't eat much, do you?" she asked, tilting her head at him again.
She looked at him, shocked that he was offering her some of his food. Slowly, she reached her hand over to grab the fork, glancing up at him. When she grabbed the fork, her fingers touched his hand before she removed the fork from his hand and took a bite. Handing back his fork, Azuki nodded and smiled in agreement. Not wanting to talk while her mouth was full.

He grew silent at her question, taking back his fork when she was done. He had been planning on her just leaning forward to take a bite, but he guessed she hadn't done that before.
He stirred at the stew, "No, I don't get to eat out often. My parents didn't really bother trying to feed me growing up, and I was mostly on my own." He used to dig through the cupboards at night when his parents couldn't kick him out of the kitchen. After a while he would just slip into their wallets, taking only a dollar at a time so they wouldn't notice. He took another bite, swallowing quickly. "I don't have much in the money department, so I have to ration when I do eat." That granola bar he had been munching on earlier had been something he had been saving.
"Though here it will be different, I think. There is a lot of wildlife. I can just go get what I need. In the city it was different."

Her expression changed to worriedness. She hadn't met anyone that had to ration or even parents that didn't bother feeding their own child. "Well, like I said, I don't mind helping you out if you need it sometime." she said, a small smile forming on her face. She really did mean what she said, and to Azuki, that was a promise worth keeping. Azuki took another sip of her drink, before a burp came out.
"Excuse me." she whisperd, turning a slight red. Azuki nodded at him. There was a lot of wildlife, she should know, she would hunt some of it out of pure boredom or if she wanted to go hunting and feed for a while. However, it occured to her that she would have to be much more careful. "I hope it will be different here than the city. I think it's beautiful here, especially at night." she said, remembering her first night outside and with the full moon over her head.

He just gave a shrug of his shoulders. He hated it when people felt bad for him, or tried to help him out of pity. He had made it fine on his own so far, even if it was difficult. At her burp and sudden embarrassment, he gave a chuckle and a shake of his head. Well, she was awfully polite.
Most of his plate was empty now, "It is different here, I've already noticed. I was able to rent a room for a fraction of the cost of a place to stay in the city." he glanced up at her nighttime comment. "I'm sure it is. There isn't light pollution from the city." There wasn't much of a 'night' in the city. There were a lot of people still awake, so it wasn't ever really quiet.

She felt her face get red again from his chuckle. "Well, you should go out to the park when the full moon is out. It's really beautiful there, I'm usually there...that's where most of those drawings are inspired by." she said, remembering her first drawing. She had sat near the bridge just like she had today, and drew the bridge, stream, the moon and a black wolf in the background. The only thing visible of the wolves though, were the eyes. Those icy blue eyes. It had been hung above her bed.
"The way you are talking about the city, I'm not sure I want to go there now." she said, chuckling slightly. Azuki looked over at him, she really did like him. For some reason, she was comfortable around him and yet...they had only met like 30 minutes ago, if not less. "That's good that you found a room. And I hope you like your stay in Romania."

He hoped he enjoyed it here too. There had been enough crap in his life, he was sure he would turn into the monster his mother thought he was. "The city isn't as bad as I make it out to be. A lot of people enjoy living there. I just can't stand being around so many people."
His plate was now spotless, and he leaned back in his chair quite content. His hand was resting on a stomach that was now protruding slightly, but he didn't seem to mind. He hadn't eaten like that in weeks. "Thanks for the meal."

"I don't plan to go there. I like it here, nothing but wildlife." Since Azuki had lived in Romania for her entire life just about, she didn't know the life of the city and honestly didn't want to. She wouldn't know anyone. Wouldn't know what to do, or how to act. To her, she would feel trapped and in a jungle with nowhere to go.
Azuki looked up from her drink, saw his plate spotless and him relaxing. She smiled at him, "Anything to help a new comer.." she said, And a cute boy. she thought the rest. The last time she had gotten evolved with human, he had gotten killed. She didn't want Blayde to die because of her stupid mistakes. Plus, she didn't even think he liked her enough to think she was pretty or anything. Low self-esteem.

He gave a light smile. It wasn't a smirk, but more like a passing relaxation of his features. "You seem like a nature girl. Much less of a hassle in my opinion. Most girls i met in the city were obsessed with the latest fashion and trends." His nose wrinkled in annoyance. "Not all were bad. But I felt a concentration of shallow girls."
There was a loud bang as the front door of the restaurant was slammed open. The workers jumped, suddenly going uneasy as a large man came in. He had to duck to enter, and his meaty hands were holding the door open. He was solid muscle, and had a large frown across his features. His clothes were dirty too, and he had the stench of alcohol and cigarette smoke on him.
Blayde had turned his gaze, a look of alertness appearing. Despite his lack of sleep, his body was quick to waken. He studied the man before frowning and turning back to Azuki. "Don't look at him," he warned, "he's looking for a fight."
Oh, and he was a werewolf. Blayde recognized him from the Hunter boards. A criminal that had escaped from prison. He had killed a family with his bare hands, but somehow was bitten while in prison. He was a criminal as a human first, and with his new powers many hunters were dying at his hands. Innocents too.

Azuki smiled in return to him, "I don't really like the fashion sense. I don't read the "fashion" magazines to begin with." she said, shrugging. "I don't like shallow girls." she added, wrinkling her own nose at the thought of girls being selfish. They were completely rude, especially to a girls like Azuki herself. They didn't understand why she didn't like fashion, or the new trends that were coming out.
The door opened and her body stiffened. Azuki smelled a werewolf and looked up to see a man holding the door opened. She heard Blayde speak, but she had already made eye contact with the burly man at the door. This isn't good.. When i get out of here.. I have to tell Eclipse. Unless Blayde does something. she thought, her attention finally going to Blayde.
Azuki noticed how his body reacted. She knew what was happening, he was a hunter. It was what he did, and was thankful that his attention wasn't on her. Especially, in his hunter mode, which just made her like him even more. "It might be to late.." she whispered.

"Shit." Blayde cursed, moving slightly to block azuki from the door. He waved at the waitress, calling for the bill. He couldn't afford a fight within the restaurant. It was too crowded, and people could get hurt. He felt a large hand on his shoulder, which was squeezed harshley. He could nearly feel his bones breaking.
The large man had strode up to their table, eyeing Azuki as he grabbed Blayde. He had moved quickly, though Blayde had been prepared. He didn't jump in surprise, and mouthed for Azuki to be calm. The werewolf grinned at Azuki, "Hello little lady. Mind telling me why you are with a scrawny boy?" He emphasised boy, giving another harsh squeeze. There was a popping sound as Blaydes shoulder was dislocated, but all he gave was a clench of his jaw.
Fuck, that hurt.

Azuki moved back when she saw the man grab Blayde. She had already moved out of the booth and had been standing when the man had started to walk towards them. Glancing towards Blayde, she nodded slightly, before hearing the other man speak to her. Azuki moved back slightly, trying to stay calm and trying to not go towards Blayde. He was hurting, and she could hear his shoulder being dislocated. "I'm...ummm...on a date with him. Please let him go.." she said, her voice squeaking slightly.
Her features were covered in worry. She really didn't want him to get hurt. "I really don't want my date getting hurt." she said, her voice getting stronger ever so slightly. She was on the verge of attacking him, but she didn't. Not now, not ever.
