Blaydes eyes went towards the door, silently telling her to get outside. He could protect one person, but an entire restaurant would be too much. Seeing her stand, he made a move to do so as well, but was kept in place by the hand. A few people were shrinking away from their table, though they seemed to sense this man was not normal.
"A date? Ha!" The large mans face twisted with amusement. "Why don't you leave this trash and join me instead? I know how treat a lady really girl." As he spoke, his hungry eyes leered at her appreciatively.
Blayde rolled his eyes, putting on a show to laugh as his eyes continued to motion her back and towards the door. It distracted the man, who didn't seem to enjoy being laughed at.

Glancing over at Blayde, she saw his motion to the door. She knew exactly what he meant and that's what she going to do. Get out and far away. She heard his laugh and her icy blue eyes went straight to him. "Sorry, but you ain't my kind of guy." she said, before turning and taking off towards the door. Spending time in the park, and at the stables chasing loose horses, Azuki had gotten pretty fast even though she was a werewolf.
Once out the door, Azuki turned and went down an ally. She got rid of her cloak under a trash can before she disappeared into the shadows. What she didn't entirely realize, was that the next ally she had turned into was a dead end. Crap. she thought, before turning and looking for a place to hide. Anywhere would work for her. [/color]

Blayde hadn't quite expected her to run, but she was faster than he had thought. When she darted out, the man had finally released him to lunge after her. The werewolf criminals instincts were to chase prey, so it was only a moment before he ran out after her. Shoot, they were both fast.
Blayde jumped to his feet, using his good arm to chase after. He couldnt see Azuki, but he did see the large man dart into an alley. He ran after him, gritting his teeth as he quickly shoved his arm back into place. He gasped, but it felt much better. It. would swell and bruise a bit, but that's the worst. He pulled out his gun, making sure it was loaded.
The man rounded the corner, his nostrils flaring as he searched for her. "What's.wrong, pretty lady? I won't bite, I swear."

Azuki heard the man chase after her and atop to search for her. She held her breath hoping he would just go away and never return. It would be so much easier for her to stay calm.and be around Blayde without the trouble of fighting the wolf within her. Azuki looked at the man as he spoke. She knew better than to believe him, she knew how male werewolves were when they got angry and how they acted.
Azuki glanced towards the ally entrance. Saw Blayde, and her heart began to start beating really fast at the sight of him. Then she saw the gun and her breathing began to stop. What was he going to do? Shoot her or him? She was hoping it was the male instead of her. Please..help me Blayde, she thought.

The man smiled when he spotted Azuki, making a slow predatory walk towards her. "What's wrong, little mouse? Afraid to be cornered?" He was only a few feet away from her, and his yellowed teeth were snarling in a triumphant grin. His canines glistened, and there was a smell of rancid meat to his breath.
He reached a hand towards her, but hissed as he brought it back against his chest. There was an obvious hole in his hand, and it bled onto his soiled shirt.
Blayde was now standing at the entrance of the alley, gun raised and poised for deadly accuracy. His silver eyes were stone cold, and he looked like a nightmare. His eyes were narrowed as he fired off another shot. It sunk deep into the werewolf's shoulder, mirroring the pain he had given him earlier. Before he could shoot again, the werewolf had leapt away and behind Azuki.
"It's selfish bastards like you that ruin my mood." Blayde said, seeming calm and collected as he reloaded his gun at an amicable pace. "Though I guess it just makes my job more enjoyable. Have you ever heard of an eye for an eye? Well, I don't think I can rip you apart like you did that human family back in Spain, but I think I can put you through a part of their nightmare." He looked to Azuki, a quick look of concern crossing his features before relaxing as he saw she hadn't been hurt. He could see she was shaken though, and gave her comforting wink.
Now the werewolf man was the cornered one, and was trying to use Azuki as a shield. He didn't grab her though, for he seemed to realize grabbing her wouldn't do him much good. She was a werewolf, after all, and he could smell it.

Azuki swallowed her fear when she realized, she had been spotted. By instinct she moved back towards the wall as he reached for her. She covered her face, however, when she heard a noise and looked up to see the werewolf male with a hole in his hand. Azuki heard another short and screamed slightly when the man in front of her had jumped behind her, as if wanting to use her as a shield. Azuki had a feeling that he knew who she was, what she was.
Azuki heard Blayde's voice and looked over at him. He was completely calm as he reloaded his gun. She saw him look over at her, Azuki caught the concern cross his features before relaxing. Of course, she hadn't been hurt, even if he had been aiming at her she would be able to move in a heart beat. Azuki saw his wink and a small smile instantly crossed her features. She trusted Blayde. He happened to be the only other person she could trust and not fear about it.

Blayde fired another shot, and it whizzed past Azuki before sinking into the wall behind them. The werewolf man had dodged, and Blayde fired another few shots. He continued to dodge them, and Blayde continuously fired. He tried to hide behind Azuki, but he was far too big. Still, he could dodge bullets all day long, and laughed as Blayde reloaded the empty chamber.
"You're going to run out of bullets before you kill me." he taunted, snarling as another bullet fired. The gun had a silencer, so there wasn't too much noise to draw human attention. It was plenty loud for werewolves though, and Blayde had slowly been moving forward with each shot. He kept a safe distance though, and beckoned Azuki to move towards him.
Blayde just tilted his head though, seeming to be confused. "You don't realize it, do you?" he fired another bullet, this one causing the Azuki's hair to flutter. None of the bullets had gotten close to harming her, even if she moved. "You're predictable." He fired again, and the werewolf grinned as he went to dodge again, but howled as it sunk into his thigh. "I've been studying your movement patterns. A guy like you isn't complex enough to try anything spontaneous."
He reached into his pocket, pulling out a new kind of bullet. He loaded it into the chamber, and aimed. "Azuki, come closer to me. This one is a little bit different."

Azuki had been listening to the two men. She listened to the bullets whiz pass her hair and the loud noise the gun was putting into her head. Of course, she was smart enough to ignore the loud noise and watched as Blayde slowly moving forward as he had sent a bullet towards them. Each time Blayde fired, Azuki was moving ever so slightly closer to him. She barely moved and it would be hard for anyone to see her movements if she wished and right now, that is what she wanted. Azuki didn't want anyone to see or hear the movements she was making.
Azuki stopped short when she felt a bullet skim past her, making her hair flutter like a crazed rabbit. She froze at where she was as she listened to Blayde speak to the man and then a howl echoing in her ears. She fought back the urge to attack Blayde, to even harm him. Azuki threw it out of her mind, he was only helping her. He was protecting her from a werewolf that was completely out of control and right now, she was thankful for it. OF course, she would thank him later, right now, all Azuki wanted was to get away from the burly man.
Looking up when she heard her name, Azuki moved closer to Blayde, a lot closer. She didn't see his bullet but she had a feeling, if it hit her...she would be a goner. And her life had only gotten interesting and she didn't want to remember the last few moments near Blayde, to be wasted with him finding out she was a werewolf and killing her anyways.

Blayde reached towards her, gently guiding her behind him. The werewolf had tried to grab onto Azuki, but another bullet ran through his hand. Now both hands were shot, and blood was dripping from his fingertips. He had a limp now, which made his movements more strained. He growled at the hunter, but didn't change forms. Despite being werewolf, he still thought like a human.
"Bastard hunter!" he cursed, "You think you're all mighty and powerful, but you're not! You're just a lowly human. Lower on the food chain." He gave a dark laugh, that crazed look in his eye. He was obviously not in the right of mind.
Blayde looked at Azuki, seeming to find this guys 'insults' of amusement. "Really? I'm lower on the food chain? You just abuse your power to get what you want. You've never earned anything in your life." he aimed the gun, one eye closed as his finger rested on the trigger. "I might not be as strong or fast, but I'm definitely smarter, and have the tools I need to exterminate trash like you." He fired the gun, and watched as the bullet struck the werewolf's chest.
As it struck his chest, fire lit up from inside him as the bullet seemed to explode within him. He screamed in agony, collapsing onto the ground and curling into himself. The smell of charred flesh filled the air, and Blayde walked forward as he put another unique bullet into the chamber. "I like to play with incendiary rounds. Werewolves are a bit tougher than humans, so the bullets we use are pretty expensive and high class." He was talking as though giving a lesson. The werewolf was groaning, in obvious pain as he looked up at Blayde. There was fear in his eyes as he looked down the barrel of the gun. "This boy is more of a man than you ever could be. he finished, firing the bullet in between his eyes.

Azuki let herself be guided by Blayde and she stayed behind him, even when she could feel the other try to grab her. She had been his only shield, is life source and now...that was over with. She listened to the werewolf speak and at one point, Azuki agreed with him but then her eyes went to Blayde and her agreement, changed. She didn't think of him as prey, or her enemy, but as a friend. Somehow, Azuki knew she could trust him and become friends. Hell, he had just saved her from another werewolf when she could've saved herself!
The noise echoed in her ears again and she closed her eyes. Azuki could already smell the charred flesh and it was making her sick. She didn't have to look to know the werewolf was in pain, she could practically feel it. Opening her eyes as the last bullet was shot, Azuki's face paled and all of the panic and fear she had really felt took over her. She didn't change though, but she was becoming dizzy real quick and her legs felt weak from running like she had. Moving closer to the wall, Azuki placed her hand on it to balance herself and she closed her eyes tightly. This never happened.

Blayde reached into his pack, taking out a small camera before taking a few photos. It was a device used to collect bounties, to help prove who killed what and when. It sent the images to the boards, and he would be sent a reward within a few days. There was a GPS inside of it as well, which allowed them to know where the corpse was. He wouldn't have to touch it, which was something he liked avoiding. Too many memories that he didn't want to remember.
He quickly finished, putting his gun back into its holster before turning around. He had an indifferent expression on his face, but it changed when he saw Azuki balancing against the wall. He rushed over to her, hands ghosting over her frame to double check that she wasn't hurt. "I'm so sorry..." His expression was now pained, and filled with worry. He moved to block the view of the body from her, and began to usher her out of the alley. He placed an arm around her protectively, "I swear, I wasn't going to let him hurt you."

Azuki had her eyes closed again when she heard his voice. Opening them, she looked up at Blayde in time to have him ushering her out of the alley. A small chuckled escaped her throat, "Don't say sorry. You were just doing your job, plus it'll just piss me off." she said, mocking his words slightly. Azuki felt his arm wrap around her and she instantly felt safe and inched closer to him. "I know Blayde. I trust you enough to know that." she whispered softly.
Once they were away and out of the alley, the paleness began to disappear and she wasn't so shaken up from before. She stopped for a moment, seeing if she would fall and when she didn't she took in a deep breath. "Thank you. For saving my life." she said, smiling and winking at him slightly. He had impressed her, and got her attention...real quick.

He gave a dark chuckle at her teasing, shaking his head as they left the alley and the dead body behind. He ran his hand up and down her arm again in the comforting manner he had done earlier, "My job isn't just being a werewolf hunter." he sighed, looking towards the sky in exasperation.
"People think that werewolf hunters just kill werewolves to kill them. That isn't the case though. I don't think of my job as a werewolf hunter, but a human protector." He gave her a smile, "You were very brave. It would have been difficult if you were panicking and screaming. I'm impressed. A guy like that feeds on fear." he remembered past werewolves he had killed. His face changed to one of frustration. "He was human once. A murderer that was somehow bitten. I can't stand to think that they should be able to do whatever they want to whoever they want just because they're 'higher on the foodchain'. It's untrue and total bullshit."

Azuki looked over at him as he started to speak. When he said human protector, she couldn't help but think. What would happen if he knew she was a werewolf? Would he kill her like he did the other one? Would he just leave her alone, since she had killed anyone. If only he knew, but she knew that it wouldn't happen. She couldn't tell him, it wouldn't be right. Well, neither wold keeping it hidden and a secret would either but right now that wasn't the case. Right.....? Azuki smiled back as him softly. "I taught myself not to show fear. Don't show fear, then your opponent can't take control of it and defeat you." she said, blushing slightly at his comment.
This time Azuki came to a full stop and watched Blayde. She had seen the frustration on his face, and it had made her worried. "Don't listen to them. They don't know what or who they are talking about. Plus, there shouldn't be a food chain, all people are the same but different in their own ways." she said, "Like you are." she added, a small smile forming on her face before she looked down to the ground in shyness.

He gave her shoulder a gentle squeeze, showing that he agreed with her. Showing fear didn't help, if you couldn't use it right. It was better to channel that adrenaline into helping yourself instead of becoming frantic.
When she stopped and said what he already knew, he couldn't help the bitter smile on his face. He rubbed at his tired eyes, which had grown haunted from this added stress. "I agree, which is why I take down the werewolves that prey on people. Normal people can't protect themselves, so I do it for them." Even if they don't want it. Like his mother.
"Wait. Are you saying I'm weird?" he suddenly lightened the mood, giving her a small nudge.
