Azuki leaned against him when he put her on his lap. The water still felt amazing to her and being held by Blayde just made it better. After she had asked her question, she knew that he had hesitated. It was something that she had definitely expected when Azuki asked him if he'd want to stay with her in her apartment. But when he finally answered, she turned around and looked at him. "I want you to be happy Blayde, and if you moving into my apartment will help you. Then yes, I'm sure." she said, giving him another smile. Slowly, she reached up and brushed her fingers against his cheek softly, looking into his eyes. |

He watched her intently, silver eyes searching hers for signs of insecurity or doubt. When he saw that her words were honest and pure he sighed. When she asked like this it was impossible to refuse. He was worried about when night came though. When he was in school back in Germany, sometimes classmates would lend him their couch. More often than not though he would wake the whole house with his screams, and was tossed out. Rumors began to spread, and slowly less people would lend him their couch until eventually he was sleeping on the streets.
"Just know the moment I feel I should leave I will. I..." He hesitated again, not sure how to explain it again. "I don't sleep well is all. You know that already though." He chuckled, rubbing at his eyes. Although less prominence at the moment did to his mood, the dark circles were still strong.

Azuki nodded at him. She completely understood that, and Azuki wouldn't stop him if he wanted to leave, but deep down. She didn't want him. "I understand and I won't stop you when you feel you should. I just hope it doesn't come down to that happening." she said, as she watched him rub his eyes. It worried Azuki that he didn't get much sleep because of the trouble he was having. Maybe, being at the apartment would help him.
"One more swim then we can head over there. How does that sound?" she asked. Azuki moved back into the water and towards the river bank their stuff was on. Diving into the water, Azuki surfaced back in the deep in before turning back to Blayde. |

He nodded in agreement, watching as she began to head towards their things. He was contemplating, but started to chase after her when she looked back at him, smiling towards her. He was uneasy and happy all at once, which was a strange feeling. He had all of his things with him, since the he didn't trust hotels....after being broken into during a hunt, he travelled lighter and didn't leave anything behind.
"I plan on helping out then. I can cook and clean, so don't make me feel like a free loader."

Getting the shore just as she heard him say that he would help out, made Azuki sigh but agree. "Alright, you can cook." she said, glancing towards him with a smile. Standing up, Azuki made her way to her things and pulled on her shirt. Her hair was still wet from the swim, so she pulled it back into a pony-tail and glanced over to Blayde. Walking over to him, Azuki reached down and picked up his bag with ease. Being a werewolf had it's advantages. And disadvantages. |

Blayde made it to shore, shaking his head and spraying water before ringing out his pants as well as he could. He frowned when she grabbed his bag, wondering when he became the lady of the relationship before shrugging. He grabbed his shirt, slinging it over his shoulder before looking at her expectantly. He didn't care about walking around shirtless. It would feel weird to have a dry shirt on and wet pants. He reached down and grabbed his shoes too, which were still wet from when she pushed him. "I hope you have a dryer in your apartment...." He joked.

"No, you'll have to go out back and let them dry out in the sun." she joked back. Azuki laughed slightly and gave him a little shove as she made her way back towards her apartment. "Don't worry, there is a drawer in my apartment. And a kitchen, and a bathroom. So don't worry." she said, grabbing a hold of his hand and twinning her fingers with his. Even though she knew Eclipse was going to find out sooner than she hoped, Azuki honestly, didn't care.
As she walked, Azuki couldn't stop smiling and she didn't want to stop smiling anyways. Coming out of the forest and over the bridge, Azuki looked around, expecting to find Eclipse or someone else waiting to take her back to the Inn. But when she didn't see anyone, she kept walking until she saw the place she was staying at. |

He looked down at their entwined hands and couldn't help but laugh at himself. About a week ago he was homeless, starved, broke, and alone. Now be had a girlfriend, a roommate, and possibly an income all at once.
For once in his life he felt lucky. "Hey, as long as I get to sleep somewhere not outside, I'm not particularly picky." He swung their hand, "maybe you will be able to put up more of my artwork."

Glancing over to Blayde when he laughed, she chuckled at him and smiled. She was wondering why he was laughing, but she decided to ignore it and ask him later. She leaned against him slightly and gave a small smile. "Well, I won't kick you out. As long as you want to stay, you are free to stay." she said, kissing his fingertips softly. Honestly, Azuki didn't think she would be able to kick him out anyways.
Stepping up the stairs, she reached for her keys and unlocked the door. She opened the door and went into her apartment. Entering the living room and putting his bag down on the couch. She flopped onto the couch, and since she had completely forgotten about her injury, felt the pain shoot up her side and gasped slightly. "Damn it.. Forgot about my side." she said, her handing going to her side. |

He followed her inside, still rather soaked from their swim in river so he stayed near the door for now. He reexamined the apartment again, this time taking in more of it than his previous short visit. His head snapped to her when she gasped, that worried look appearing as he rushed to her again. "You need to rewrap it again, those bandages were probably ruined by the river."

When he rushed over to her, Azuki sighed at his concern. Honestly, he didn't have to worry about her so much but then again, she couldn't stop him. "Okay, there is a kit in my bathroom, under the sink. It should have some bandages." she said, standing up slowly. Azuki went towards her room and pulled the closet door opened. She was getting tired of the wet clothes. Azuki pulled out some pants and a loose shirts Stripping, Azuki pulled on the pants and then the shirt, before going back to the living room. Her hair by now had fallen out of the pony-tail she had it in.
Sighing, she went to her kitchen and opened the refrigerator. She looked around and groaned before going over to the couch and laying on the couch. 'Did you find it?" |

He gave a nod, disappearing into the apartment to find the bathroom. He paused upon entering, almost feeling as though he was intruding before going to the sink and pulling out the first aid kit. When he went back to the living room she had disappeared, so he placed it down before grabbing his bag. He went back to the bathroom, taking off the wet pants and pulling on a pair of black sweats. He heard her call out to him, and went back to the living room to point at the first aid kit.
"I found it."

Azuki looked over at the first aid kit. How had she not seen it when she had gotten back from her room? She sat up and put her hand to her side, closing her eyes slightly. She still felt pain, but it was something she could deal with. For the time being at least. Azuki smiled over at Blayde, "Come sit down. Make yourself at home, instead of standing around." she said, bringing her legs up on the couch and moved over so that Blayde could sit down. ANd just, relax. |

He looked back and forth between her, the first aid kit, and the couch. He pushed it towards her before plopping down on the couch, unzipping his bag and ruffling around for a clean shirt. ""It's just a little strange for me is all. Don't worry too much about me, I will settle in more eventually."

"I'm gonna worry about you anyways, Blayde." she said, leaning over and kissing his cheek. Azuki reached over to the table to got the first aid kit before she laid back against the couch to settle the pain. Yes, it was strange, even for her but it was something that she would have to get used to. Azuki reached for the bandage that was wrapped around her and started to remove it. Slowly, she was able to get it away from her body and see how the wound looked like.
Azuki shrugged, "It's not that bad. From the way you were worrying over it, I thought it was." she said, chuckling and giving him a playful ruffle of his hair. She thought he worried to much but then again, maybe she worried to much too. |
