Seeing that, just maybe, she wouldn't be trying to punch at him again. William tried a slow shuffle across to the middle seat of the sofa. Not close enough to be touching, but enough to show that he was listening to what she had to say.
He wanted to grab her hand again, tell her that it was okay; he understood. He'd chased her into the woods for the sake of simply seeing her again, of course he understood! But he couldn't quite bring himself to it; he felt ashamed, but despite his joy that she was here... he was still no confident, dominant gentleman. He was scared, blushing little William. And he was a coward.
He still felt very much too out of his depth in this whole business, still at odds with why she was entrusting him with so much... muchness...
he coughed, realizing he probably owed her a reply. "T-to be honest...well...s-so am I...heh...I-I mean I've never...with...o-or felt.."
Suddenly he was unsure if either of them were ever going to get their feelings across.

Looking a little surprised as he moved closed, Peri tugged at the hem of her dress, now becoming awkwardly aware of how high it had ridden up in her drunken journey of angry... marching. Crossing her legs to preserve her modesty, she continued to drink her tea, now faced with the task of trying to decipher what he was saying, not really able to make sense of it.
She had a hunch that he didn't quite know either. Now that her initial alcohol buzz had worn off, she was left in a state of awkward limbo, not drunk enough to have full confidence in such a situation, but not sober enough to want to just leave it and go for an easier option.
Sadly, this kind of state was social suicide, when you thought about it. Draining the last of her tea, she lowered the mug to rest gently in her lap, trying to gather the right words to continue. Not finding them, she decided she'd simply have to wing it and hope for the best...
"J-just for the record... I really enjoyed last night..."
This was no lie, the more she'd thought about it, the more she realized that despite the oddness of it all, and her own misbehaving, the night was quite a pleasant, if slightly fragmented memory. They'd genuinely had quite a pleasant talk before the alcohol had gotten particularly involved, and after that... Peri couldn't remember too much, but what she did was only a lot of warmth and wonderful feelings...

Yes, there it was; he was most definitely blushing now Try as he might, he still couldn't piece together the complete blank that was a large amount of last night. To be frank, he wasn't sure if he wanted all of it in crystal clear view, especially not near the end.
But he remembered the start of the evening, and even when he had woken up this morning, dazed and confused, he'd had to admit that it had been very pleasant.
Usually William would have simply clammed up with nerves when talking to a woman, but he hadn't felt that when Peri had lead him into her apartment. He'd had fun. They'd talked about things that hadn't mattered too much, but had been interesting to listen to just the same...
The rest...well the rest just wasn't there...But he still remembered that feeling she had given him, the feeling that kept crawling back whenever he looked at her; the euphoric feeling of being alive, being...Being a wolf.
It had felt almost as amazing as the rush after the change.
He smiled and glanced across at Peri.
"heh...J-just for the record...s-so did I"

Peri smiled warmly at this, relieved that he did too, instead of regretting it as she had feared. Taking in his blush, she couldn't help but chuckle a little, now beginning to remember why she'd taken such an instant shine to him in the first place. He could be really quite adorable sometimes...
Catching his gaze, she held it for a few moments, beginning to feel her confidence creep back. Not the dominant confidence of last night, a softer, just comfortable relaxed state, that made her feel like the two of them could do pretty much anything now and have it come naturally, instead of forced by alcohol. Maybe this friendship could work out. It was beginning to seem impossible for it not to...
A tiny devilish smirk couldn't help but creep onto her lips, suddenly tempted to tease him, just a little. Just for a bit of light fun. But mostly just to make him blush.
"So... how much do you actually remember from it?"

He jumped slightly at that, not expecting Peri's question, not sure if he wanted to dig down deep enough to truthfully tell her.
The tips of his ears burnt as he chuckled nervously. Did it...really matter if he told her everything he remembered? Even if he was sure it was only a small part of their night. Especially remembering the scattered cards and shot glasses of this morning...
His smile grew just a little.
"well...I-I remember...you, inviting me in to sleep somewhere...A-and then...t-that herbal tea of yours...heh...a-and then we played...cards?"
It was here that William's memory started to fade, although he could still remember the sharp taste of vodka and the strange feeling that something was hilariously funny.
And that beautiful primal feeling that...May or may not have lead to him gouging chunks out of her wall...

Gauging his words and reactions, she smiled broadly, finding it particularly cute that his blush spread even to his ears, wondering if he remembered more than he let on. After all, he seemed awfully embarrassed for a man who had only drunk tea and played cards...
"And then what~?"
She urged him onwards, shuffling towards him a tiny bit, now seemingly bursting with intrigue, a slight blush spreading across her own cheeks. Even now, small details were popping into her head, causing her little bursts of embarrassment, shifting awkwardly in her seat. Tiny things, like the sensation as the silk duvet settled across their bare skin, the head rush she got after pulling away from a kiss...
Now painfully aware she'd gone bright red in the face, Peri fiddled with a strand of hair awkwardly, hoping he hadn't noticed her face of obvious perverted embarrassment.

"a-a-and then..."
His blush deepened as he glanced down and started fiddling with a sleeve cuff, unsure of just how to explain what else he remembered about last night.
"a-and then I t-think we did quite some damage t-to your living room...a-and your...bedroom wall"
He gazed off into space for a moment, remembering the state of both when they had awoken this morning. ...Thinking about it...It was actually really rather amusing to think that he...had managed to...
He bit his lip and chuckled to himself, glancing at Peri again.

Chuckling a little herself, Peri smiled a little, almost as if the true events of last night was their own little inside joke, however much they remembered of it. Thinking back to the violent gouge in her bedroom wall, she almost found herself straining her mind to remember, wanting to know if it really was good enough to warrant such a... dramatic finish.
She wouldn't be surprised, honestly. Once they'd gotten past the initial awkward stages, and gained a little confidence... well, needless to say, sparks had flown. Seemingly unable to kick her blush now, she grinned, holding his gaze steadily.
"We did damage to my bedroom wall? I think you'll find that was you, don't try and blame me, haha~"
It was his fault after all. His claws had damaged the wall. Whether or not she had been doing things to... encourage such things, she wouldn't say. She had a sneaking suspicion that she may have spurred it, just a little... Obviously, she was just that good. Obviously.
"Now, I can't seem to remember... what brought on such a... dramatic act?"
Now she was really teasing him, her smirk making it obvious that she knew full well, she just wanted him to say it, knowing how much it would make him freak out and blush.

William squirmed a little in his seat, like a schoolboy who had just been forced to tell a dirty joke. He knew what she was implying, even he hadn't been drunk enough to not remember what the two of them had gotten up to in that respect last night. ...B-but did he really have to say it? To Peri?
His face was beetroot red as he turned to look at Peri, a look of helpless embarrassment spread across his face. He shifted again and tried to wiggle out of it. "w-well...s-surely you c-can piece it together?"
He tried pathetically.

Peri's grin broadened, giggling a little as he reacted just as she'd expected, looking oh so embarrassed at the thought of having to mention such a thing out loud... Funny, he'd had no problem actually committing the act...
Resting her chin in her palms, she gave him as innocent look as she could muster, albeit with a pink tinge across her cheeks, eyes wide and bright.
"I really am drawing a blank, will you explain it to me...? Pretty please?"
A hint of devilishness flashed across her features, eyes narrowing to make it perfectly clear to Will that if he tried to lie to get out of it, she would know, and that he'd be punished for it... She hadn't quite decided how, just yet, but she was sure there were ways of making him squirm with ease.

He was trapped, her delighted little smirk told him that with utmost certainty. He was going to have to answer her or face...Unknown...Peri devised punishments.
That was it, he decided...He was definitely not making her another cup of tea if she asked for one.
Now possibly as red as he could go, and trying to look anywhere but the grinning woman in front of him, still squirming into the cushions.
"w-we erm-"
He coughed and motioned with his hands, knocking them together slightly.

All Peri could really do was stare as he made motions with his hands, blinking a few times as she tried to work out whether, by some sort of natural disaster, that was actually how they'd done things, or if he just had a really skewed idea of how reproduction worked...
Spluttering for a few seconds, Peri couldn't help but crease up laughing, despite her bright blush, finding his attempt at explaining really rather amusing. Bless him. He just got cuter by the second.
"...I-Is that so?"
She asked as soon as she'd stopped laughing enough to catch her breath, wiping a tear from her eye. Well, that was good, he did remember, as she'd suspected. Hopefully it had preyed on his mind as much as it had hers...
Giggling a little, she leaned forward, patting him on the shoulder.
"It's okay, I get your drift... Good effort, though."
She just couldn't help herself, teasing him a little more, now aware that they were sitting close enough to be touching, the last movement by Peri closing the gap, making the whole situation a lot more intimate. The alcohol in Peri's system prodded her with wandering ideas of how things could possibly play out, but she shook them off, thinking it was probably best not to push her luck.
Sure, she wouldn't mind a round two, but she somehow doubted Will would...
"Heh... at least our evening ended rather well~"
Her own words surprised her, the seductive comment more intended to stay in her mind as opposed to being spoken out loud. What was more, she had used her most lustful tone, eyes still bright from the memory, as well as her cheeks flushed. This had to be the wolf's doing, getting her into trouble all over again...

William couldn't help but feel a little indignant at Peri's sudden burst of laughter. Well...She had asked! And he had...tried to explain... Kind of... In the least embarrassing way possible.
As she leaned towards him he felt himself begin to lean back, just slightly, keeping a small amount of distance between them. He didn't know what had happened to him last night, but his sudden and unplanned change in the forest this afternoon hopefully gave the wolf little excuse to come out and play at any point soon. ...He hoped. ...He really, really hoped.
Although, whispered a small part of him. It had been fun, the parts he remembered. Fun not having to be...Little William Hughes for the night...

Sensing that her laughter may have hurt his feelings a little, Peri backed off a little, returning back an inch or two to allow him his 'safety gap', figuring that the insatiable appetites of her inner beast had already gotten her into enough trouble, it would simply have to just deal with this.
She'd already gotten what she wanted, hadn't she? An opportunity to say what hadn't been said, a second chance to fix what she'd almost broken. And whether or not it had really required her to drink a large chunk of the wines and spirits aisle in Tescos, she didn't like to think. It had certainly aided the speed of the process, that was for sure.
Perhaps this meant she should call it quits, not risk pushing things any further tonight... tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear thoughtfully, she mused this decision, before glancing back up at Will, noticing an odd look on his face as well. Almost... thoughtful.
Beginning to feel her curiosity start to bubble away again, Peri pulled her gaze away, thinking it may be rude to ask. And a little creepy that she knew when something was on his mind... But, then again, she supposed they were both werewolves, maybe this warranted some sort of weird 'wooooooo psychic' kind of connection.
"What's on your mind?"

William shook his head and chuckled again. "N-nothing...Y-you'll find it silly, I-I'm certain"
Carefully he plucked the cup from her hands and laid it gently on the coffee table beside him, before softly taking each of her hands in his. Again marveling at what lead him to have such...confidence, even in such small amounts, around Peri.
The inner wolf gave a little wag of it's tail and a sly smirk. It was still there, he realized, and it wasn't ready to give up without a fight, or another go. He swallowed nervously and stood, still holding her hands, intent on leading her safely to his door, maybe her own apartment if she was still as drunk as she had been.
"m-maybe we should both...get some sleep? ha...I-I mean it's hardly as if we managed much l-last night..."
